Build upgrade

Hey all,

 

So I've got an older super budget rig I built and was looking to update it some. I found someone locally selling an EVGA GTX 1070 Superclocked, a MSI Z170A Gaming m5 motherboard, and a Intel Skylake i5-6500 CPU.  Wanted to get some opinions if tall thought these parts would be worth it in being that they are parts that are a couple years old. It would be a big uprage from Pentium g3258 and r9 270.  Just wanted some more opinions. I havnt stayed quite as upto date with hardware as I would have liked to.
