Hello I bought a rx590 and I have an old monitor that only supports vga so I bought a 40$ active connector to connect to the GPU and it's still not working. My monitor is a HP 2009v I tried a few days ago with a friend's monitor and it worked but that one had HDMI so IDK... And yes it's plugged to GPU not onboard graphics..

Do you have another monitor with both VGA and HDMI to test,if you don't I would try it first with any monitor to make sure it works and its not the adapters issue

Yeah it's that one costed me 40

I didn't even notice your adapter was 40 dollars,I can buy a 22 inch 1080p panel used for 40 dollars so I would do that

Just tried with my TV and it's not working either. Different cables too. Could it be something with the GPU? It worked couple hours ago at the shop so idk

Did some more testing and plugged to onboard card and it gave signal. But if I plug my new GPU even if it's not connected to it it won't give image unless I completely remove the GPU from the case..
