a gpu upgrade to something like the rtx 2060 would give you a very sizable performance boost, and you could also benefit from a cpu upgrade, if your willing to sell your i5 7600 and motherboard, you should be able to afford a ryzen 5 2600 and a b450 motherboard

Yes I was thinking about upgrading to a 2060 but Im not too sure i  I should wait for this supposed "1660" instead of buying right now.

the 1160 or whatever they end up calling it is unlikely to be the same as a rtx 2060 in non rtx games, they'll probably make it slower, either way the rtx 2060 will net you better performance, also nobody really knows when this new non-rtx card will come, by that logic you might as well wait for amd navi which 'allegedly' targets rtx 2070 performance at around 250 usd, but nobody knows for sure.

That would be a CPU sidegrade for gaming imo.

Get the GPU, and wait for Zen 2.

I have $500 and looking to upgrade my pc and not too sure to spend it all on a better Graphics Card or get something a bit cheaper and get a ram upgrade and was looking for advice.

i5-7600

GTX 1050-Ti

2x4gb ddr4-2400

B-250H motherboard

128gb SSD

1TB HDD

I would go for a ram upgrade something like 16 gb and then you have about 380 dollars left to upgrade you GPU :)
