Need help resetting tablet

So my cousin bought a tablet the "Solo 7 (GEM7008)" and he put a password on it and then forgot the password (he's only young) anyway I need to reset the tablet for him without being able to go past the lock-screen, I know with most tablets you can enter recovery mode by holding down the power and volume keys but this tablet doesn't have volume keys, the only button it's got is power so any help would be appreciated.
