SSD Performance and Antivirus Software

With the price of SSDs coming down rapidly, it's very likely that in a year or two I will be getting one to go along with my next computer.  Since a lot of you here have SSDs, I was wondering if full computer scans tend to be much faster with an SSD.  I know that boot up times are significantly decreased, but are scans more processor dependent than storage dependent?

before SSD i was using WD Green as my boot drive and scanning of 100gb windows drive was taking around 6 hours with 840 evo it takes around 1 hour and 15 minutes and cpu usage seems to same as before (this was with Eset Smart Security7 )

Yes scans will be much faster since the SSD is smaller and much faster, scans are more storage dependent than processor dependent.

What was your CPU usage during a scan typically?

at 4.4Ghz it was hovering between %10 and %15
