will not post after windows install attempt

computer would initially boot to bios just fine after attempting to install windows 10 form a usb it would instantly fail said it had to reboot on reboot the system would not get past post code 2b

i have removed the sata cables form the drives, the graphics card and i am going in off the built in video port of the motherboard, and have removed all the ram and have even went out and bought a different stick a 1333mhz corsar xms3 

have checked all power connectors 

still just stops at 2b 

any suggestions would be great as i am at a loss as it worked fine before the windows attempt

chances are you were just very lucky before the windows install attempt, or had a very bad timing on hardware death.

 

code 2B seems to be related to memory detection, maybe your cpu or ram isnt seated properly?

tried all 4 ram slots with 5 different memory sticks and just went a head and re-seated the cpu 

same thing

i am starting to think the cpu or MB decided to no longer play 

but do not hesitate to suggest any thing even if it sounds stupid and easy i been messing with this all day and i could have easily over looked something

i have tried moving ram around with no success if i remove the ram completely it gives a code 54

so the board is doing something i doubt i have 5 bad modules could the cpu have died just at the wrong time?

really scratching my head on this one only things i have hooked up is the cpu, ram, motherboard, and motherboard power

What's your testing pattern been with the RAM? Have you tried single stick, moving one stick around, two sticks, moving two sticks around, and a visual inspection of all seating/connection surfaces? Reseat power connectors?

trying one stick at a time moving through all for slots then moving to the other stick clearing cmos every time i move the ram tot he next slot 

i have reseated the cpu 4 pin and the 24pin as well as reseated the at the modular power supply 


i am a bit baffled at this point only other thing i have not tried short of a different board is a different cpu but not sure i want to spend the money on another fm2+ cpu 

i was just building this as a new family machine with parts i had laying around
