No, you need a boot kit from AMD (if available), a new motherboard with updated BIOS already, or a compatible 1000 gen CPU.

Hi. I have an Asrock AB350-GAMING-K4 Motherboard which I am planning to use with a Ryzen 5 2600. I tried to boot earlier today and it didn't work. I need to update the BIOS in my motherboard. Is it possible to update it without the use of a 1000 cpu?
