Dell XPS 9575 Refuses to use Radeon Vegas GPU

bill_cui57

Specs:

Windows 10 Pro N 64-bit (10.0 build 17763)

i7-8705G CPU

16GB ram

512gb SSD

BIOS: 1.2.0

Intel(R) HD Graphics 630 & Radeon RX Vega M GL Graphics

I cannot get my computer to use the AMD GPU in games, as minecraft displays that it is using the integrated graphics and is chugging along at 20fps.

I tried to change all of the possible settings to favour high performance to get the AMD GPU to start cranking up, but it doesnt.

Any help guys? Thanks.

you should be able to just go into 'device manager', under 'display adapters' right click the intel driver and 'disable device'. restart the pc and should be good. This does mean you wont have access to your power efficient graphics but atleast youll have more than 10fps
