Hello everyone i'm posting this because i would love to get some advice from some people about there experience in the cyber security career

Recently i have just applied for collage for a degree in cyber security. i would love it if some peoples could give me some good tips on the field. also what job should i be looking for i want to be making $100,000 or over.

Any advice will be well appreciated.

Get your Security+ certification, other certifications can help as well but Sec+ is the most important. 

Some additional info about it so you don't have to google it, its 90 minutes with 90 questions on a 100-900 scale with a 750 required to pass. The test itself costs about $339, however you can sometimes find vouchers but its still something you really don't want to fail.

getting certifications will definitely help. Also, don't go into this thinking you will get in and be making 100k off the bat. You can eventually but even with a degree and/or certs you will still have to work your way up.
