iPod Shuffle gen 2 issue

Hi guys,

 

My iPod Shuffle 2nd gen ran out of battery now wont charge up/won't turn on and isn't recognized by itunes. 

 

when i plug it in to both my pc usb and straight to power plug i get this series of flashing lights (guessing some sort of error code but cannot find it anywhere):

 

 

it goes orange, pause, orage, green, off.

 

any help is appreciated

Yeah orange, orange, green isn't on there
