I just bought the Corsair Void RGB Pro Wireless and now anytime i have the headset on in wont let me use my Blue Snowball desktop microphone whenever i play CS:GO or any other games.

I've tried basic troubleshooting like checking default playback and recording devices and disabling the headset mic and only enabling the desktop mic but i can't seem to figure out a solution.

Windows still recognizes to mic and will register that im talking when looking at the playback meter in microphone settings but i won't work in-game.

Any suggestions?

Please help!

Open up a software like "audacity" and see if you can record your audio there. If that works, and Windows shows that it's recognized, make sure any in game settings are set to the right source as well.

I have tried that, it’ll even work in teamspeak, discord, Skype, etc. Just not in game. Even if I have the correct defaults for steam and in game it won’t capture my audio

No, i can press push-to-talk and it will register but nobody can hear me, i have muted and unmuted and tried resetting defaults. The mic will only work if the headset is off

Have you tried disabling the mic on the headset? (In the microphone settings on Windows)
