Crackling, beeping noises...

Okay, so this has been an issue for a long, long time now but it's getting to the point now where I really want to fix this.

Recently I bought an Apollo Twin DUO USB audio interface for recording various music things, and it has worked incredibly well so far. However, when using it, I almost cannot play any audio on my computer (other input sources are completely unaffected) without at least some, if not a lot of crackling, and I can't seem to get through even a 1 minute YouTube video without the audio cutting out and a constant tone p[laying., Sometimes it fixes itself after a few seconds, sometimes it does not. In the latter case, turning off and on the Apollo fixes it, but it eventually happens again. There's a recommendations page for things like this on the UAD website, and I have tried almost everything there (The only things I haven't are those having to do with messing with BIOS settings and such that I would rather not do unless they are the only solution, and disabling the network adapter card which would mean my laptop would no longer be able to access the internet...not okay.) and the issue is not gone. I posted a similar thread to this on the UAD support forum, and have not received a single reply in several days.

I'm starting to think it's probably my computer, though. Maybe something having to do with the CPU or motherboard, as if I unplug every other connected device (a USB keyboard, wireless mouse, MIDI cable to my synthesizer, and HDMI connected display that I use instead of/in slight conjunction with my laptop display.) it helps some, although the issue still does not go away totally. I don't think it's my CPU struggling, though, as I have monitored its activity when the issue is particularly bad, and often it's only at a few percent usage.

If I do have to disable my network card, would getting a USB adapter work? Or would the issue just start up again?

If it has to do with my CPU/BIOS settings, how do I go about changing that?

If it's a hardware thing...what am I supposed to do?? It's a laptop, those things are practically built to be impossible to modify!

And if it's something else, or in general, please help me figure this out. I think I'm going insane here .-.
