High CPU Usage

Sorry if I'm sending this in the wrong forum!

I'm new ?

So Recently I've got a new CPU, the i5 8600k and its always at a extremely high usage.
Having Discord open and running Black Ops 4 it jumps to 100% usage even if I put everything on the lowest settings possible.

I have a suspicion its ram but I'm not really a genius when it comes to this so... please help me out ❤️

My setup is:

Motherboard: Asus Maximus XI formula

CPU: i5 8600k

GPU: MSI 1080 ARMOR OC

RAM: 16gb Corsair Vengeance 2133

CPU COOLING: Idk some rgb 2 fan liquid cooling cooler master thingy

Eh. I don't know what else to say :/

Thanks?

Edit: Idk if this helps but RAM is in dual channel and my pc has crashed due to 100% usage before.

Go into task manager and disable anything’s that are using up your cpu performance, also scan your pc for viruses

Your ram most likely isn’t the culprit for your high cpu usage. Also, you didn’t state what FPS bo4 is running at because there is a chance that you’re accidentally using your igpu instead of your dedicated graphics. Also make sure your ram is in the right dimm slots that c o u l d help

I have black ops taking up 100% of my GPU and CPU at 1080p  //  90fps ( I've tried all settings and nothing has helped. ) Things like League of legend takes up 60% too, at max settings 90 fps. No viruses. This error has happened since I've gotten a new motherboard and CPU, which have been replaced but it didn't work.
