Hi guys,

I just got the Razer core x. Got an RTX 2070, installed it... seems all fine. It lights up, fans turn on.. but ONLY when the computer is restarting, or driver LESS. It is recognised in windows. It is recognised in device manager, even nvidia geforce experience.

However, it does not turn on when it has the latest driver installed. Using the razer switcher up it says "A graphics card in your razer core X does not have a compatible driver installed. Please visit the Razer Core Driver Download page and install the correct driver" I did install the Razer one but was 2 years old and still did not work.'

My computer is a HP Envy 27 B series and I have the latest thunderbolt driver installed. It is thunderbolt 3.

Any help would be much appreciated.

RTX cards do not seem to be officially supported by the Razer Core. I am not completely sure, but there is the possibility that their driver does not support those cards.

Please someone help?

More information - the graphics card turns on, i.e. fans running when I use the AORUS engine to auto scan the card for gpu clock. The card turns ON when I do NOT have graphics card drivers installed. The card is in my device manager as a working component RTX 2070. Its in Nvidia Control Panel. Its in Geforce Experience. WTH?!
