upgrading Droid 2 to Droid 3?

My droid 2 is getting slower and less up to date as time goes on. I was looking at the droid 3.

Any additional opionions are accepted, as long as they are non-4g, under $100 on ebay, and verizon compatable. You may say no 4g? I have verizon prepaid which means I can't activate any 4g phones.
