RAID Drivers and RAID installer!!

Hi guy's ?.

 

AMD RAID Installer (SATA and NVMe RAID)

AMD RAID Driver (SATA and NVMe RAID)

AMD RAID Installer (SATA RAID Only)

AMD RAID Driver (SATA RAID Only)

 

i just want to know what these drivers do !???

should i download and install it??!

I have b450 gaming plus and r5 2600x cpu and 1 tear ssd 860 evo.

 

need help.

You only have 1 drive? if so you don't need any of those drivers as RAID requires multiple drives

So u mean these drivers work with 2 or above number of drive!!?

 

What is RAID ?? What it do ??

Yes it requires at minimum 2 drives and more if you use a different RAID configuration. RAID can be for performance as in a RAID 0 which uses 2 or more drive to write data to if a drive fails all data is toast on all configured drives or a protected array of multiple drives depending on your setup 1 drive can fail and you data can be protected and recreated on the replacement drive these are just examples of many options in RAID you should google it and read up as it's not for everybody
