Need help installing RX 580

Ok, I got an rx 580 1 week ago. I was struggling to install it. The reason being any time I unplugged my 750ti and plugged my rx580 in and had my hdmi plugged into onboard nothing happens. I’ve tried uninstalling the Nvidia drivers nothing works. Also, I tried to plug the rx580 in hot within the drivers ready to instal that did not work I had to order a new mobo. Thought I wrekt my whole system. Any help would be great thanks!

Do you mean you tried turning the system on and then plugging in your graphics card? Oh dear.

What are your other PC specs? Have both graphics cards plugged in at once and use the 750 ti for video, see if device manager recognizes the 580.

Yeah it was bad. Also I’m just trying to squeeze some life out of my pc. I only have 1 slot for a gpu.
