i have a PC about 2 3 years old but still pretty good. but i cant seem to get the frame rate up even in World of Warcraft.

List of parts:

Asus Sabortooth fx990 R2

16gb AMD ram DDR3

Kingston M.2 240ggb main

Kingston 500gb SSD

AMD FX 8550 CPU

Asus RX480 4gb OC

Thermaltake 850 PSU Gold

CoolerMaster V8 cooler

Asus x3 24"n Monitors

Logitech G13, G910 Spectrum, G502 Spectrum,

Case Zelman Z12plus

7 Coolermaster 120mm fans with a fan controller

I know its not a demon but i'm on a very fixed income but even in world of warcraft i should be getting better then 45-65 FPS. any help to make this work even a bit better would be great

What's your CPU temps? It's possible your thermal paste has dried with age or something, you might want to replace it then overclock. Also, clear out bloat your PC has accumulated. Stop programs from opening on startup, and uninstall stuff you don't use.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I need?
