Hi guys,

I have an issue  with a system labeled 'ready to go' (yes, I was that weak and bought such a thing ..)

At power on it gets into the settings after a bit of churning. Looking at the boot devices, it lists none! Cannot find a way to add one, even though the 1TB hard drive is listed under peripherals as SATA3. If I boot with a linux rescue disk the drive is also visible, but could not mount it, and didn't really want to mess with it for now. I am out of options .. help!!

The system is called Aeon 2185 from Canada Computers:

The SSD - Adata 240Gb - seems to have very bad reviews, and since it does not show in BIOS (or from a linux live boot) it could be defective. Not sure why the HDD does not appear as a boot alternative. Either way, I will try to replace the SSD and see what happens. I hope the Windows OS licence is not tied to it :0

Was really hoping to get a working system quick, if I am to go through all this hassle would rather have tried a build.
