hello

i recently installed battlefield 5 and tried to play it,

updated my gpu drivers to 417.35 to even run the game...

however upon opening the game i was on the "first setup screen" containing :HDR settings and brightness however my screen however was mostly green and i did not think more about it than it being for setting up the HDR slider.

after adjusting the HDR slider and hitting confirm however i had no picture(just black but my monitor still claimed to be receiving a signal), i tried unplugging and replugging my HDMI cable to no effect:(

afterwards i reset my pc on the "reset power button" and i did see my usual "booting screen" cicle of balls rotating" and my MOBO manufacturer name, however when i (almost) reach the logon screen"graphicly demanding" i just get signal from my pc with only a black screen..

so far i have tried older drivers from nvidias website

re-positioning the gpu which somewhat worked, i could now see my logon screen(in lower res like if without drivers, but after logging in i lost the picture

MOBO/cpu hdmi port works without trouble so not sure where to go from at this point:/

hope to hear from you

hope you had a good christmas and will have a happy new year:)

sorry to have bothered you all but it apears that my monitor had been in conflict "applying new settings on it's own or something" i disabled something called "ultra deep colour" and i seem to get a picture again... must've been the HDR content or something...
