Keyboard acts weird

Whenever i restart my laptop(ASUS R558UF-XO044T) the keyboard doesn't work...then i shut it down and i have to get the laptop plugged in with the charger and turn it on again  & during the loading screeni have to turn off the charger while it loads the windows screen...after that the keyboard works....a weird problem i am facing since 2/3 months.
