I have a monitor from Sceptre. It is 1080p, 16:9 aspect ratio, 75hz refresh rate, 24-inch, thin size, LED Monitor. It is 16ms response time, which I find slow compared to the monitors. Is it bad or is it fine? To note, I've been playing on a Laptop Surface for gaming so will it feel fast for me? Thanks.

16 ms response time is pretty bad for today's standard but it's been so many years since I've used one that I don't remember the difference. People act like a couple of milliseconds is going to completely change the experience and they're just wrong however 16 is up there.

Response times are also completely meaningless is there is no standardized way of measuring it.

I agree but generally a company calming 16ms isn't gonna have better than 16ms if they're off it's probably gonna be over 16ms which is even worse

Or they report the 'accurate' response time while all/most of the perfectly good 1ms monitors report a completely nonsensical number. Or they didn't bother testing and just threw out a random number.

A meaningless number is meaningless.
