So basically I'm planning on upgrading my GPU on my 5-6 years old PC.

I would like to know if I a GTX 1060 6GB would work with my current PC.

Here's what I want to order: https://amzn.to/2SYfioJ

and btw I also would like a bit of advice about if I need to upgrade other PC parts.

Here are my specs:

Motherboard: MSI H81M-E33 V2 (MS-7846) (SOCKET 0)

Power Supply: Corsair VS650

GPU: 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 (Gigabyte)

CPU: Intel Core i5 4440 @ 3.10GHz

Ram: 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz (11-11-11-28)

and if needed OS: Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit

and some of these specs are not being sold online so I can't use PcPartPicker to check if a GTX 1060 6gb will work on my pc

it will work just fine, though i'd replace the PSU anyways, the VS650 isn't a good PSU.

Any suggestions?

a corsair CX, coolermaster masterwatt or be quiet pure power 10 are decent choices.

Are you sure? my PSU is 650 watt while your CX550 is 550 watt. 0_o is there anything that I am missing about that??

wattage means nothing quality-wise.
