CPU - i5 6400 3.3ghz

Cooler - Kraken x42

So I was just curious as to what temperature should be higher (core or liquid) My 6400 is currently around 27c and liquid is 30c on Idle. Ambient is 24c

Usually your fluid temps will always be lower than of your components under load since the heat generated from them gets transfer into the fluid that is actively being cooled.

Under load the core will always be hotter than the liquid. Idle temps don’t really matter. Unless something isn’t working.
