Exact laptops, different graphics?

(Sorry if this isn't the right place, just felt best)

My brother and I both have the exact same laptops (Both second hand HP Probook G1, second hand because of a dual coffee spill) and we found out recently it has a discrete AMD Radeon 8750m graphics card in it. His laptop, we can see it in task manager, device manager, and have got it working. My laptop? No luck. Cannot find it anywhere. I can confirm that dxdiag.exe gives us both the exact same things until it comes into Display 2, where mine is the same pages as Display 1 but his shows the Radeon. I have a feeling it's linked to coffee spill or unplugged wires, but I don't know where to start! Any help?

I would definitely check the Manufacturer's website to see if they made a model of the laptop without the GPU. The chances of a coffee spill affecting the connection of a graphics card and nothing else is pretty slim, and most GPU's are soldered onto the mobo of a laptop. If all else fails, you could always open both up and see if there are and differences internally. Most likely one is just the higher end, pricier model.

Usually there is many different configurations for the same laptop. The one you have doesn't have the discrete graphics.

Both laptops SKU is E7N22PA#ABG, and on Price Spy this is how they are differed. Even on Price Spy it says it should have the discrete graphics.

Yes, I think they did make a model without, but as I said above and in the original post, they are the exact same model. Only difference being the discrete GPU.

UPDATE: (Didn't even submit yet just an update) the Hardware Abstraction layer (Taken from System Information: System Summary) on mine is "10.0.17134.471", and his is "10.0.17134.285". Don't think thats big, but otherwise yeah, the same.
