Hyper TX3... Push or pull for silence?

I'm trying to get my Hyper TX3 to be as quiet as possible, and I was wondering if it would be quieter in push or pull. This is my config: NOTE: There is one more SATA cable in front of it now.

how is the fan on the left configured? I'd suggest to put it to push air outside of the case and the cpu fan to push air to the left. also, an intake fan would be nice

There is no fan on the left... Unless you're talking about the power supply fan. And there is an intake, but it's too close to the TX3 fan and it makes a lot of noise.

It looks like you are pushing towards and intake fan?  I would leave the cpu fan alone and turn that rear case fan around.

 

Edit:  Maybe you should move the back intake fan to the front of the case?

There is no fan on the left... Unless you're talking about the power supply fan. And there is an intake, but it's too close to the TX3 fan and it makes a lot of noise.

oh, that's a dust filter. well, try to get an actual fan for the case

There are no case fans, other than the one on the side panel, which blows in and makes too much noise with the TX3 fan.

then take it out from the side panel, put it as a intake and change it's rpm in the bios. simple

1. Without the side panel fan, there would be a hole.

2. The front fan intake is loud as hell (it's the exact opposite of a fine honeycomb. It's coarse as all get out).

3. BIOS will not change a fan speed unless it is the 4-pin PWM that is for the CPU fan.

 you should use the cpu fan as an exhaust because if you'd put it on the left side of the cooler, you will probably have some problems with "sharing the air" between the cpu cooler and psu.

So I take it it's as quiet as it's going to get? And right now the TX3 is actually blowing air out the back of the case, where the 120MM fan used to be (I can't get it to fit there, and it was loud becuase it was "sharing the air" with the TX3).

 

Right now, the side fan is unplugged, and the video card, TX3, and PSU are all exhausting out the back. It's runs cool, with an 18C ambient the video card hits about 59C tops, CPU about 39 to 40C at ~1,100RPM. And the case gets to about 26C max. So it's not too bad.

well, if your fan from the left side of the case was positioned to get air into the case, that would have made it loud because two fans that are facing each other aren't good

that probably raised your cpu temperature a bit

well, regarding to the topic, you should use your tx3 to push air out of the case(considering the cx430 has the fan facind down and also pushing air out of the case)

when you'll get another fan, use it as a intake from the back and your cpu cooler to push air in the front of the case. a litle weird, I know, but this is what I had to do with my system too. I also have my psu in the upper part

It will still push air out of the case in a pull config. I don't think it cares about airflow, since the ambient is usually 17-18C, and it sucks air through the case.
