Are these OC temps normal?

I overclocked my i7 6700K to 4.6 GHZ at 1.32v. When stress testing on aida 64 my temps average from 65-75 C and occasional spikes up 83C. My cooler is a corsair H100i GTX. Are these temperatures normal for an AIO???

Did you stress test the CPU or FPU or both?

Synthetic load peaking at 83 is good, since gaming will be a lot lower.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Then 80C under load is fine.

1.32 is actually kinda high. 4.6 all core at like 1.3 or 1.29 should be realistic.

People with the exact same setup are reporting that they don't hit 80C+ until about 1.4v.

Also with the H100i, same ambients and pump settings? 1.4 volts is also not necessary for that chip to reach 4.6 all core unless it's a silicon lottery loser
