My Computer Crashed and Doesn't Post

Hello,

 

I was playing a game and out of nowhere I got a blue screen ("your computer ran into problem"), it was stock at 0% so I turned of my computer. When I tried powering it back on all the LEDs, fans etc. lit up, however it did not post. My computer is blank. How can I fix it ? Is my hardware or software damaged ?

 

I already tried:

1. Checking video cables.
2. Checking power cables.
3. Removing RAM sticks.
4. Removing storage devices.
5. Taking out CMOS battery for 10 minutes
6. Leaving computer on for couple hours
7. Booting into safe mode using bootable drive (did not boot)

Neither of these methods worked.

unfortunately not. i have asus z370 and the red power led is lit up red

ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-E.

 

the light is labled PWR_LED. it stays red. There are other "critical leds" for cpu dram etc, but all of them are off

gpu is not at fault. i took it out in case, and i am using mb graphics

i suspect that its either BIOS, or something died (either CPU,PSU or MB)

If it was the psu, you would know. Maybe something is shortened? Try it outside your case on the box it came in and test a bit

yes, but that a short would not cause a blue screen.

No, but the bluescreen could also be something else. I would try it to be sure
