Virus assistance!

Quintavious V

Basically, on chrome some tabs keep on popping up about virus removal, and i know some shit's up, so i go to download malwarebytes and lo and behold, its blocked by Chrome?! Yeah, the download's being blocked, so i run windows defender but to no avail and chrome antivirus and nope, so i remember, oh shit, adwcleaner! So i download adwcleaner and i run it, 4 infected files, i get rid of em, and restart and rescan, no threats, surely, i might be able to download malwarebytes now, right? Nope. So i went on edge and downloaded it, and scanned once then did another scan, no threats, HOWEVER while i was scanning, when i opened chrome it said that a trojan was blocked and it was called eluxir.net i believe (http://www.virusremovalguidelines.com/browser-hijacker/how-to-remove-eluxer-net-redirect-virus-from-the-computer-system) I restarted chrome before the scanning stuff and once now and shits not going away, help a brotha out

Uninstall and reinstall Chrome as a last ditch effort. If that doesn't work, just format and start with a fresh install of Windows.

u do know that chrome says files are bad all of the time when they're just fine right? u can turn that protection of in the chrome settings. it doesnt protect u from anything really. simply downloading an exe file won't infect your computer until you execute it and thats the official malwarebytes website and that looks like a very clean install of chrome with nothing added, so chrome is lying.
