VMware Question

Wolly9102

Hi,

for a school project I am required to deliver a specific virtual Windows 10 machine. However this machine also has to have the latest windows Version. Now I have mutiple virtual W10 machines all running older versions of windows 10. and all using the same ISO (the rest does not need to be updated). Does upgrading this specific W10 machine make it inbootable? Because it uses an older ISO to boot. And are there any solultions to this?

Thanks in advance,

The VM should is not booting from the iso, and it is plainly used to install the OS.
You can unmount the Windows ISO outright.
So you can do all the upgrading you want.
Feel free to ask additional questions
