144hz 60hz monitor dual setup screen tearing.

DuelShott

So I have a Asus 144hz monitor, and a 60hz asus monitor, and when I have my 144hz monitor on 144hz my 60hz monitor screen tears a lot. Everywhere i check it shows my 60hz monitor at 60hz. Idk why it would do this

Try putting your 144Hz at 120Hz instead. My quad monitor setup had that problem, where anything above 120Hz gives me weird lines on one of the screens every now and then.

I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.

@OddsCrazyStuff I want to run it in 144hz though.

The difference between 144 and 120 is not noticeable.

I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.

@OddsCrazyStuff I want to run 1 at 144 and the other a 60

I got 3 running at 120 and 1 at 60, it works fine. If I try and have the 3 at 144 or 165, I get problems.

Which is why I recommend that you try 120 and 60 and see if that solves the problem.

I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.

@OddsCrazyStuff K Tried at 120hz same thing. The 120hz monitor was fine the 60hz was screen tearing a lot.

What are you running on each screen for you to see the tearing?

Which one is set as your primary monitor in Windows?
