So I had bought a Thermaltake Tower 900 because it has these features: Has a BluRay disc Bay (5.25 inch drive bay) has glass and is closed has vertical GPU mount its so huge its very flashy BUT amazon (UPS?) has so far destroyed 2 during shipping, resulting in returns. So I think its too big for amazon (UPS?) to handle. So could anyone please help me with another flashy case that has the drive and glass and vertical GPU? I'm not gonna liquid cool with a custom loop, but I do have a 3 fan Closed loop cooler. and my gpu is a 4090 so... yeah. gonna need space but not as much as the TTT900. I've been looking for a while but really I can't find cases that look as good as the TTT900 with a disc bay. they either all look horrible, or have no glass, or are open (like the awesome looking cougar cases but sadly, dust is a huge problem for me). I currently have a Corsair Obsidian 750D, but it is too serious and the front doesn't show off very well... also it houses my old pc and I would prefer to leave it there. I unfortunately live where I can't buy pc cases unless its online and it ships to Mexico. Oh and it's super important DHL delivers, UPS sucks and Fedex is even worse. USPS will result in my package being stolen by mexican authorities at any border or customs (I speak from experience).

I have the tower 900. I am getting a 7980xe, I want to go nuts with this build, and lots of rgb. I know threadripper exists. I am using x299 because of work reasons. I have a 1080 artic storm. I don't really need gpu horsepower. But, I want to know about fittings, cables, fans, led strips, pump/res. Ect... I currently have a soft tube build that i can use 2 sata 240gb ssds, a 3tb hdd, an ax1200, and some rad. I am going to grab a rampage vi extreme snd tge ek monoblock What i need help with I need fittings Led strips Fans rgb maybe A 540mm rad Coolant Pcie m.2 ssd, not sure on size. Need to have vms Cables that are long enough Rgb res/pump(I have 2 ddc pumps curently but the res wont work with what i want. I want a tube res) Second gpu maybe Rgb ram 64gb I live in us, my budget for the above excluding cpu, mb, ek block, case is $3800usd. It is not fixed. Oh I also will probably delid. I do very cpu bound things and I do not need ecc.

Updated: original pics are at the top of this page. The new pics are in the middle. Hey guys, I'm new to the forums here, but I've been watching Linus's videos on YouTube for years. Anyway, I thought I'd take a little time to show off my first custom loop build (which is still nowhere near complete). It isn't perfect, but it'll get better over time. Also, the RGB lighting is usually set to white and blue (far tamer looking), but I figured I'd let it cycle for these pictures. First off, it's a Tower 900, of course. Originally, I had most of these parts in a white NZXT Phantom case, but when I saw the Tower 900 online, I knew I had to get it. However, that proved to be rather difficult since I live in Japan now and the shipping and import charges from the US to Japan on a Tower 900 was around $230. Luckily, I found a website that sells it over here for around $310 USD (that's considered to be a good deal here). When I received the case, I immediately sold my 1080 and switched to an MSi 1080 ti Gaming X. When I bought that card, I had no intention of water cooling it, as I figured I'd wait for the Volta architecture from Nvidia, but yeah, I realized I didn't want to wait another year, so that should explain why I water cooled a non-reference card. As for the AIO Thermaltake Ultimate Water 3.0 that I have cooling the CPU, well, that's there simply because I don't have the money for a second loop at the moment, but rest assured, I will build a custom loop for that, as well! Speaking of which, I have no idea what color liquid I'm going to use for that second loop, and I feel like I've kind of backed myself into a corner in that regard since I bought Corsair blue, white, and black custom cables from Cablemod, so I'm open to suggestions for the liquid color in the second loop. If you guys have any questions, please ask! I'll also show you how I handled the drain port in the rear of you'd like. That was a bit of a pain to figure out with the little space I had left between the 560mm radiator and the PSU. Here are my specs: Case: Tower 900 Motherboard: Asus X-99 Deluxe II GPU: MSi 1080 ti Gaming X CPU: i7-6850K at 4.3 ghz (I'll overclock further after I build the second loop) CPU cooler: Thermaltake Ultimate Water 3.0 (360mm rad). Yes, AIO coolers do fit in the Tower 900 cases!!! RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3000 8GB x 2 SSD: Samsung 750 EVO 250GB (I will switch to the 512GB Samsung Pro M.2 soon). HDD: 2TB WD Blue. I'm not completely thrilled with the performance of this 5400 RPM drive, so I'll probably switch it out, as well. Custom Loop Water Pump/Reservoir: Thermaltake PR-22 D5 pump/reservoir combo (I didn't go with EK because I like how there's already a bracket for Thermaltake pumps). Custom Loop Radiator: EKWB 560mm Coolstream CE Custom Loop Fittings: All EKWB. Two EK-AF 90 degree fittings, one EK-AF FF 90 degree fitting, two double 45 degree fittings, 12 EK-HDC fittings, a 20mm extension for the back of the res/pump combo (I highly recommend this extension for the Thermaltake!), a T-splitter, a Y-splitter rotary, an EK-AF ball valve, and 4 EK-CSQ plugs. Custom Loop Liquid: UV reactive Navy Blue EK-Cryo Fuel Fans: I have a mixture of all three generations of Riing fans. Two original 120mm Riing fans on the back panel (I had extras from other builds), three 120mm Riing Pluses on the 360mm AIO rad, four 140mm Premium Pluses on the 560mm custom rad from EK, and two 140mm Premium Pluses in the front section of the chassis. Eventually, every fan in the case will be a Riing Premium Plus 140mm. Custom Cables: Cablemod cables in Corsair blue, white, and black. LED Strips: NZXT Hue Plus Keyboard: Razer Chroma Mouse: Razer Deathadder Elite

Hello, all Just signed up and would like my first thread to be my Thermaltake Tower 900 Build. Let me know in the comments if you'd like to see a list of parts in advance or just let it be a surprise as I continue to post. We can start off with the chassis as we would with a car. Which in my "case" barely fit into my mustang. Right off that bat I already see that I'll be in search of a longer desk. The search for an 11 ft long desk begins!

Had the same issue as everyone for wanting to use this case as a media server. I did get responses from thermaltake regarding the HDD cages and caddy so opted to take a different route. Thermaltake has some "L" brackets that are identical to the original cage....the only mod I did was with these "hot swaps" drilling and tapping some wholes to make it work...as you can see potentially I have room for 38 drives in this case...no modification on the case at all...so for those are are seeking more storage space this is what I came up with and works just fine.

Hi all, I'm beginning to plan the loop config for my current build log; Link: I know i can run it as a standard dual loop; but am wanting to do it a little differently.... Note:single color for the coolant What are everyone's thoughts of a dual Parnell loop. I don't know if that's the right explanation but my thinking goes a little like this.... Res1 > Rad1 Res2 > Rad 2 These would then go into one splitter and tube heading into the roof of the case. Tube > Splitter > 2 tubes (cpu/gpu) > Splitter (at the back) and then finally into the returns of the res's All of the in/s outs of the components are running as Pass-through to either the custom mobo tray or roof. If i'm being completely ludicrous with this idea, please sing out... Cheers

Introduction It's time for another custom Liquid Cooled build, and this time we are utilizing the MASSIVE Thermaltake Tower 900 case! This is a commissioned build, using some extreme hardware, and I am really excited to get started. Will feature dual liquid loops, one for the i9-7980 Extreme CPU, and the other cooling 2x Nvidia Titan X Pascals in SLI. We will incorporate a little bit of acrylic work to clean things up, along with some painting, and RGB lighting. Take a look at all the components below to see just how impressive (and powerful) this build will be when completed. I present Project Ecthelion! Hi everyone, I'm looking for help with an issue I'm having. I can't fit an HDD into the tray of my chassis. I have a Thermaltake Tower 900 case. My Seagate HDD needs to fit in the tray. I would like to use the HDD I purchased, but I cannot figure out fitting the HDD into the tray. It seems like it should be easy and maybe it is. I am doing something wrong or there is a compatibility issue. I want to understand which issue I'm having. I would supremely enjoy using the HDD I bought. To give more details: there are plastic, hard nipples on all the trays. When I try to fit the HDD into the tray, the nipples prevent a level placement of the HDD. Do you have any knowledge to help me? Do you have any wisdom to help me?
