I've seen tons of videos on people saying use this or that settings I can't find a fine line on what settings to use for recording. There's always different videos with different settings. I understand most of us have different PC's so let me tell you what mine is. GPU: 3060 12gb pc CPU: i5-12400f RAM: 32 GB downloaded(downloaded is a joke) Monitor: 1440p 185hz My streamlabs is setup to record however when replaying my clips they're fine except here and there where FPS clearly went down massively however I don't notice it as I'm gaming.

Hello! I was setting up my capture card to start recording but it has an issue. I use a KeeQii USB 3.0 4K HDMI Video Capture Device. When I'm in streamlabs it keeps making this weird buzzing noise that is loud. This is how it sounds. Is there a solution to fix this and remove the buzzing sound or will I have to just get another capture card? 2021-02-22 20-05-12.mp4

So for a early Christmas, I gifted my friend his first real gaming pc. This was a upgrade from his Dell XPS 4K All-in-One he used to daily drive and now things are working much better for him. He was also getting into twitch streaming and Vtubing and his current setup didn't fair that well during Halo Infinite, so I made sure he got a much better upgrade. Now that he has two PCs, I recommended that he should use his new one for gaming and the other for screen capture, Vtubing, and streaming. I also gifted him a Elgato HD60 to link the two. We did the basics to connect the two and recording the screen capture and it was a success.... however we found a small problem. How do we set up his mic and headset properly. Now to anyone just reading, you would think that we are idiots stuck on a somewhst simple problem.. and you may be right. Lmao! My friend wants to hear and voice the gameplay from his gaming pc and I do not blame him, we want to connect his Yeti mic to the new pc for Discord and for games that require voice chat like Phasmophobia. However how on earth do we have his streaming pc record the input mic audio when it's connected to the gaming pc? Is there a option to pass through the audio through the HDMI so the Elgato can capture it without him hearing himself through his headset? Also how do we get his mic input to work with his Vtuber software? I honestly know a lot more about hardware and basic software and this is all new to me. Any help is appreciated, and hopefully the solution doesn't cost much or anything.. cause we are broke now for Christmas. Lmao. One option I though if is just hosting everything on his new pc, but I want to get this dual setup working to save pc resources for best gameplay and as a learning experience. His streaming pc is a Dell XPS All-in-One with i7 6700, 16gb, and a Radeon rx580 8gb. His new one is a handmade pc with a Ryzen 5 2600x, 32gb ddr4 3200, GTX 1080 8gb on a B450i MSI Gaming Plus ITX motherboard. Capture card is a Elgato HD60. ... and yes this a repost cause I accidentally posted this in Hobby Electronics. My bad!

Hey guys Guys I need help with my recording. I was live streaming using Streamlabs when my computers plug got yanked and the computer shutdown. The stream I was recording doesn't open now and I need the file to edit it. The images are what it looks like and what a normal one should look like. If anyone could help me recover the file it would help me so much. Thanks

I'm planning on streaming mobile games directly on Youtube. I've tried using varies streaming apps as a trial stream (StreamLabs, StreamChamp, Omelet Arcade) but couldn't meet my satisfaction. StreamChamp has a huge watermark but could stream at 1080p 60FPS. StreamLabs doesn't have watermark but streams at 1080p 30FPS. Both bitrate was constant (7k) during trial stream. Is there anyway to stream 1080p 60FPS via StreamLabs? Should i adjust the bitrate higher or lower? Device: 12 Pro Max Wifi Speed (Mbps) : 200 down, 100 up

Hello! So I stream using StreamlabsOBS and recently bought an Avermedia capture card, there was a pretty hefty delay so I ended up sending it back as everything I tried to do to fix it didn't work and I thought it might just be faulty. I've now bought an Elgato HD60 instead and this has the same issue. I followed every setup guide out there, asked friends who have Elgato stream gear and all of them have said they've never had this issue. I've tried: Disabling Timestamps Disconnecting/reconnecting Updating drivers Trying a wired headset Adjusting the ms delay in SLOBS Trying different HDMI cables in case one in damaged Starting a fresh multiple times Non of this has worked and I've done more but at this point there's just too much to remember and list. If anyone has any reccomendations or fixes I would be beyond grateful at this point.

Hi. I have a aukey pc lm1e wecam and I bought it around 3 months ago. I normally used streamlabs to fix colors or to make it look less plain. But not iv'e run into a totally different issue. A few days ago I tried having a video call on discord with a close friend but my camera would'nt show up and the only thhing i could see was "Streamlabs virtual webcam" and my old old microsoft webcam that wasn't even plugged in or close to my computer. So i tried everything. google the issue, reinstalling the drivers, checking the usb connection etc. But nothing worked, then when i checked hidden devices I saw the name of the camera as an audio source and I tried using the mic and sure enough it works fine. I then tried to plug it into my laptop and the webcam works without issue there. Running win 11 insider preview rtx 3060ti ryzen 7 5700g mb- B550-A PRO

Don't know where to post this but "Troubleshooting" seems the most relevant to my "issue"... Some Context.... I'm trying to do some live streaming on my PC but it's way to underpowered and I don't have the money to buy a fully spec'd out PC. What should I "upgrade" about my PC? Should I Buy a AMD A10 6800k (supports the same socket and is apparently better than what I currently have) and upgrade my ram? Should I buy a External GPU housing and buy a GPU? BTW Gaming is secondary but I do game on PC often. Thanks for the help!

I've had this issue since I've had my RTX 2080 TI, but it never really bothered me til recently I've started playing Destiny 2 that doesn't let you use Game Capture. Whenever I go to use Display Capture on my SLOBS, (or whenever I stream to friends in discord, while watching one of my friends) I get insane frame drops, screen tearing, stutters, and the game does not look smooth at all Only when I click to start recording or start streaming. SLOBS is run as admin DDUing and reinstalling drivers does nothing x264 and NVENC do the same thing in terms of frame drops and stutterness Reinstallation of Windows does nothing Using Performance Mode also does nothing Temps are normal, Destiny 2 says its using .2% of my GPU and 25% of my CPU (idk why only .2%, but I'm getting 250-300 fps still) SLOBS uses 1.2% of my CPU and 0% of GPU even when NVENC is selected Xbox Game Bar is uninstalled, Power usage is set to high power in the windows settings thing Gsync is off, NVIDIA Low Latency is on Ultra, but its been happening even before I changed that setting in my PC the only other thing I can think of is the fact that my main monitor is a 360 hz 1080p and my second monitor is a 60 hz 1440p, if that means anything. Here are the specs if theres any known issues or fixes with these: i9-13900KF Z790 ROG Maximus Hero G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16GBx2 DDR5-6000 RTX 4090 FE I'm at a loss and I'm at the point to where I'm losing my mind because of this, I just want to use display capture. Please help, I beg of you all. Thank you, Andrew

Can you help me? I'm using a Streamlabs OBS and I want to stream my gameplay to my community but there's a huge problem which always makes me hate this stream stuff forever and it's frustrating. The problem is my stream is always crap and not smooth as it should be. I want to stream 1080p at 60FPS but I'm always tearing even if I can play over 200FPS (for example DOOM). Can somebody help me to find or adjust my settings? My PC Config.: i9 9900k 5Ghz all core 16GB 3200mhz RAM GTX1060 6GB My OBS Settings.: Encoder.: Hardware (NVENC) (new) CBR at 6000 bitrate Keyframe: 2 Preset: Quality Profile: High Max B-Frames: 2 GPU: 0 Video.: Base (canvas) Resolution: 2560x1080 Output: 2560x1080 Downscale Filter: Bicubic (Sharpened scaling, 16 samples) FPS Type: Common FPS Value Common FPS Value: 60

Heyo, I have a streaming question regarding the chat box widget on Streamlabs OBS. Does anyone know how to make each username a different color? When people chat, what ever the random color of the first username is, it'll be the color for every other username and it gets a bit difficult to read on screen. I as the streamer don't have any problems reading it since i have the chat window with different colored usernames but since I upload vods to youtube, I fear that depending on the color, it will be hard to read who's chatting which message. I guess I'm looking for something like what Asmongold's chat is? A semi-transparent background and it looks to me like a browser-sourced twitch chat. This is my current chat box - using Streamlabs OBS' native chatbox widget: Looks like my color is different because I had to manually set it on twitch so it appears like that on the chat box. But it would be good if it just uses whatever color is displayed on the actual twitch chat. And help/advise is greatly appreciated.

Didn't know where this topic should go so I'll just drop it here My Machine: i9 9900k RTX 2070 16GB DDR4 3200mhz Asus ROG MAXIMUS XI Hero (wifi) I built my current machine not too long ago with some of the best parts that were out at the time (sadly I got my 2070 before the Super lineup). This little beast has been able to provide me with endless hours of entertainment playing all the games that I want at high or ultra settings with little difficulty. However, recently I wanted to push my system, one of the main reasons I chose the i9 was because I wanted to get into streaming my games on Twitch. With that goal in mind I downloaded Streamlabs Obs and decided to give it a try. After doing some brief setup within streamlabs and testing my settings by recording an FPS (Rainbow Six Siege) I noticed that the recording was very pixelated and stuttering every few seconds. I used both Nvenc (new) and x264 encoding, both of them produced the same results. When upping the recording bitrate to 25000 the pixelation decreased but the recording would still stutter and freeze from time to time. I know basing streaming quality off of the recording quality is not what I should be doing but I'm having trouble finding optimal settings for my setup. On paper my machine should be able to record and stream with no problems at all. While using Nvidia Shadowplay for instance my recordings and streams are buttery smooth with no pixelation whatsoever, but using streamlabs I do not get such a result. Anything im doing wrong here? What are the optimal settings for recording and streaming?

Hello, I have a little issue when I stream... I guess I would try on this forum, because I cant find anything on google and i'm not getting anywhere with twitch support or reddit. So when I stream on x264 (software), everything works fine... but when I select AMD (hardware) I get an error on twitch that my download was canceled (error #1000), but when I playback the stream after it works fine... My computer specs: R5 3400g 16GB RAM maybe because i dont have any graphics card... currently running on vega 11 integrated graphics.. Thanks!

Recently I bought myself a new streaming pc: Threadripper 1920x Aorus x399 rev 1.0 Asus 1060 6 gb It did his job for the first 2 hours, then streamlabs obs crashed. I run some tests, Prime95: all cores a good Nvidia driver update: all good Driver easy update: all good Updated the bios: all good Windows update: all good Reinstalled windows, and still having the same issues. Obs crashes and its says: Troubleshooting with encoding or it shut it's self off out of the blue. Tried all kind of settings in Obs its self, but it won't work either. Did anybody else had the same problem? And did he/she found a solution for it? I really don't know what to do else anymore. Then selling the streaming rig and try a Intel version. Greetings, Greg

Hi Everyone! I'm currently tweaking my settings for best stream results while playing Destiny 2. But i'm having some problems on the said game. I noticed that whenever i tried the windowmode boarderless option for Slobs (since the game is not allowed to be stream on full screen mode), I am certainly seeing that the game is having some screen tearing whenever i turn on left and right while looking on a rock in Dreaming City. Base on my specs below, i can easily run this game on 144hz with custom settings, and my monitor is 144hz, meaning there should be no screen tearing at all. The difference between full screen and boarderless is day and night, and i can easily notice it whenever i play crucible or when i'm farming. I really want to play and stream Destiny 2, especially that this September since it will go on free. Most of my friends in Division 2 will most likely be trying to play the game and i want to stream that and share to my viewers and friends. Please let me know if there is a fix that i can apply, without buying an Elgato.

Hi guys I have a dedicated streaming pc: i3 8100 ASUS Prime H310M-E R2.0 8gb RAM rx 570 I use an avermedia livegamer mini capture card to capture from my gaming pc. As soon as I open Stream Labs or OBS i immediately have over 70% CPU usage. When I record and stream it completely spikes to over 90% and skips so many frames. The only source that is up is the game capture card and a webcam + overlay. I dont know why CPU usage is so high. I tried lowering my resolution, bitrate, etc. even toggled with the encoding devices to no success. Is i3 8100 not enough for this? Or do I probably have hidden drivers sucking up processing power?

When I stream any game I have to cap my fps in-game otherwise my stream lags. I have a perfectly capable system (i5 8600k and rtx2070) but the moment I cap frames higher then 90 or 100 fps my stream (720p 48fps) starts to lag, buffer and drop frames. I have a 144hz monitor and can gain from the extra fps. So is there any way to not have to cap fps or be capable of getting a higher cap without going to a dual system setup or is it just not possible?

Source: The Verge | Logitech News Logitech has agreed to make the acquisition of Streamlabs for a reported $89 million, adding streaming tools to Logitech's gaming offerings. Following the news, Logitech GM and VP of Logitech G as well as Streamlabs' CEO commented over on the Logitech website: I find it cool that Logitech have acquired Streamlabs. This sounds similar to how Corsair acquired Elgato. Logitech & Streamlabs sounds like a perfect pairing as now Logitech can integrate their peripherals into Streamlabs software and potentially hardware. Awesome stuff. Logitech haven't been shy about acquiring companies, as they earlier in this decade purchased Jaybird audio, whom are very successful with the release of their Jaybird Vista wireless earphones. Hopefully Streamlabs will share the same success in the hands of Logitech.

I have been steaming for a few months now and have found Minecraft grows followers faster than the other games i play, but recently if i ever game capture minecraft on streamlabs obs the minecraft client crashes. I already tried updating Geforce drivers and checking if the game is crashing from maxing out my cpu. How the crash works is i can game capture Minecraft but i cannot click on the client or else it will crash. I have a Nvidia GTX 1070 EVGA, I5-35070k, 16gbs of ddr3 ram. But my specs should not be the problem I heard Nvidia geforce and streamlabs fight over the game capture and thats the problem but i disabled Geforce overlay and still is happening

I need some help with streamlabs low fps
HyrumHulleman posted a topic in Programs, Apps and Websites
Hello everyone, I’m new to this forum so I hope I post this in the right thing. Anyway, I had a question about Streamlabs OBS. I want to start streaming on twitch and decided to use Streamlabs. Everything seemed fine until I tried to run a test stream and everything was extremely laggy. I had a lot of frame drops and my fps dropped below 30 on the stream while in-game I had no issues. My CPU was roughly on 50-60% usage while streaming so no real stress on it to my opinion. My GPU was also doing fine. So my question is how come it struggles so much and what can I do to fix my low fps rate? this is my spec list: Intel: i7-3770 MOBO: some aftermarket thing, nothing special RAM: 16GB DDR3 GPU: GTX 1070ti internet speed: 30-40 mbps up and down stream Streamlabs and the game I was testing are both installed on my ssd, but I don’t think that would really matter. Thank you for your help and patience with a newbie on this forum. -Hyrum ps. Also let me know if I might have to move this discussion in a different group.
