Hello everyone, As the title says, I have a problem with my Sensei RAW. I need to use the engine for my mouse (thingy used to change the lightinging, dpi, color, macros, etc) and, to do that, I need to update the firmware of my mouse. However, that update fails, showing my mouse as disconnected as soon as I click to update the firmware. The light below the scroll wheel starts to blink rapidly. Here's what I tried so far: 1. Changing USB ports (tried many ports both USB 3.0 and 2.0) 2. Uninstalling old mouse drivers 3. Using the Firmware Update "fix" program (crashes at 11% with the message"cannot open bootloader device"). Same effect as the firmware update. 4. Using an older computer. I've seen in this thread (which didn't solve my problem either): that one person had to plug it into another computer with an older OS. So I did that with the oldest thing I've got (windows 7), but to no avail. 5. Finally I contacted the steelseries support. No help there. Just generic answers and, as I kept pushing for some actual help, no more replies... 6. Asking on ltt forums. Hopefully that one works. So, yeah... I'm kind of out of ideas here. Sure, one of the solution would be to buy a new mouse. But, being low on money, I'd rather try to avoid doing that. Has anybody else encountered this problem? If so, how did you fix it? I'm out of ideas ^^' Thank you very much, Tsumego

Hi! Im alex! im looking for a new mouse after my razer abyssus broke. My grip style is a hybrid between a claw and a fingertip grip, my hand size is 20x10. Im a leftie and so i like ambidextrous mice more. Ive been looking at the steelseries sensei 310 and well, it looks like it might be the one. I only have one thing holding me back, and thats the cable. Because i absolutely hate cables and how they get in the way. So i turned to the logitech G305, but it seems a bit too small for my grip. So my question for you is what mouse should i get. If you have a recommendation than please mention it, but if not, a helper for which one i should choose would help Thank you for reading!

sensei 310 vs rival 310? i currently have a logitech m185 which is about 4 years old and needs to be replaced. i am not sure which version of the 310 is better. according to the spec sheet, the are exactly the same and have the same price, so i dont know which to use. i have a sort of claw/palm hybrid grip (the main difference in the mice are the grip styles), so i cant really go either way. the sensei is made for claw grip styles, the rival is more like palm grip. pls help

Hi so i bought sensei 310 yesterday and today ive received a package i opened it and noticed that the front keys mouse1 and mouse2 are super easy to press i cant lay a finger on it without pressing it. Is it something normal with this model or is it something with this particular mouse? Is there anything i can do about it?

Hey, I've had troubles with my Steelseries Sensei mouse for a while now. The problem is that it completely lags out when doing quick movements in video-games, the only one I've noticed it in is CS:GO since that's the only game where I do quick movements. Here is a clip of the movement: CLICK HERE I have had this problem for months now, and I've tried mostly everything and I am certain it's something wrong with the mouse. I have tried changing USB-ports. Upgrading to Windows 10 / Wiping the entire system. Changing Motherboard. Updating and removing mouse driver. And of course hitting it (didn't work, surprisngly enough) I tried changing the polling rate. I have also tried changing the CPI. I tried it on another computer. And after all that I still have the same exact problem. It is NOT the USB port. Does anyone have a possible solution or had the same problem themselves? If so that would be very much appreciated.

1. What type of grip do you have Fingertip 2. What Kind of games will you play? FPS, mostly CS:GO 3. Price? They both will cost the same as the Deathadder is $10 off at BestBuy I'm on the fence, idk which one to get. If you need any more information just ask me. BTW. If you recommend mice like the G303 it's like $90 in Canada, the markups are insane here.

Hello everyone! Im currently looking to downgrade my current logitech g303 for a SS Rival or a Sensei. I love the shape of the senseis but not sure if its still a good mouse to use? I like the g303 but getting bored of it and in need of something new. Senseis are on a sale right now at my local Best Buy, tagged at $37. The price is pretty attractive, but not sure if the mouse is still worth picking over g303. I mainly play csgo and tracking speed / accuracy is a must. Thanks!

Hey Folks, I have been playing a lot of CSGO lately and have been thinking of buying a new mouse. I usually do a bit of research before investing in one of these gaming mices. The SteelSeries Rival 300 seems like a good mice as I have been using my brother's Rival 300 and have been in love with it. I was a bit hesitant at first but after a few hours of Death Match awping the tracking seems to be really perfect for me specially in FPS games. YES, Flick away! SWIPE AWAY ! OH AND, the grip! this is what made me love the SteelSeries RIVAL 300 the same could not be said for my Razer deathadder which has a very slippery grip and has been really making me go nuts with the left click problem which my Razer deathadder has and this is why I am replacing the Razer Deathadder with my new love the SteelSeries RIVAL 300. I have been using the RIVAL 300 mouse to play other FPS titles (Call of Duty, Battlefield and Quake) as well and I must say there's a much more friction between my mouse and mousepad now. So, since my brother has been without a gaming mouse for a while. I suppose I would need to buy my own SteelSeries Rival 300. My question here is - Should I get the SteelSeries Rival 300 or buy the SteelSeries Sensei ? The Sensei seems to be a good mouse as well according to a group of competitive players here in London. And, please do not suggest Razer at all! I've been very disappointed with it. Too many problems with them in the past and I am done! Help me choose folks my gauntlet folks (Gauntlet = mouse for me) Link to the SteelSeries Rival 300: https://steelseries.com/gaming-mice/rival-300 SteelSeries Sensei: https://steelseries.com/gaming-mice/sensei Cheers!

Hey guys! So I'm looking to replace my MX500, and I see that the Logitech G602, G402, Steelseries Sensei Raw and Corsair M45 are on sale. Logitech G602 : http://www.amazon.co...33809580&sr=1-5 Logitech G402: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Hyperion-Gaming-Fusion-910-004069/dp/B00LZVNWIA/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1434051555&sr=8-7&keywords=corsair+m45 Steelseries (heat orange): http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FAJT6VK/ref=twister_B008RWR5RE?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Corsair: http://www.amazon.co...r/dp/B00IDWFN4U I was wondering about your thoughts on these mice? Or should i just keep my existing mouse? I want a very comfortable mouse that is compatible with both claw and palm grips since i use both, and they are best bang for the buck. I am also open to other suggestions that are under $50. Having a great sensor, no acceleration, and quality are important, but number of buttons are not important to me. Thanks!

So basically my Steelseries sensei raw started having tracking issues on my cloth mouse pad. And I've read that the issues are most likely caused by the laser sensor. So I was thinking of buying a hard pad ( ASUS STRIX GLIDE SPEED ) , and my question is if that should do it, or am I in for a new mouse all together?

My brother just got a new computer mouse for christmas, its a steelseries sensei. The mouse works, but i cant get steelseries engine to start. Everytime i try to open it i get an error saying driver not available application will exit. The program has never worked. I have updated the firmware on the mouse, uninstalled and reinstalled the software, but nothing works! This is the guide i`ve been using: http://faq.steelseries.com/questions/393/When+I+try+to+load+up+the+SteelSeries+Engine,+I+get+an+error+saying+%22Driver+not+available,+application+will+exit%22. None of the methods used here works. Something i`ve noticed is that the guide tells you to look for SteelSeries Universal Bus Enumerator under systemdevices in device manager, but the fact is that such a thing isnt there! I have tried countless times but it never shows up! Hope some of you guys have a solution. My brother is using an HP elitebook 8530p running windows vista enterprise 32-bit

So I am looking to replace my lame wireless keyboard [rubber domed] with a gaming keyboard. I have searched for keyboards with Cherry MX Blue switches [i type a lot, and overall like the feel of the Blue switches], and have come up with the following two: CM Storm Quickfire TK & Corsair Vengeance K70 [non-RGB]. For you guys wondering what mouse I am using [For those people thinking about color matching], I am using the G502 Proteus Core[Gaming] and the Sensei [General Work]. UPDATE: I love the feel of the Blue switches, so I plan to get one of the above keyboards in the Cherry MX Blue version

So, which one will you choose?

Hi, Soon I will have my new gaming PC but, after hours of research I just cannot decide on a gaming mouse. I am 14 years old so I have small hands and it has been hard to find a good mouse which ticks all my boxes. I will play FPS games, RPG's such as Skyrim and Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor and general all-round games like Assassin's Creed, Alien: Isolation, etc. Here are the mice I have on my mind: Steelseries Rival Steelseries Sensei (RAW, as I am on a budget) Corsair Vengeance M65 Roccat Kone Pure I would've had the new Razer Deathadder Chroma but a lot of people say Razer products are overrated and poor quality, I have discarded it. Help??

Hey Ltt forums This weekend is Black Friday and Cyber Monday and I plan on buying a new mouse after having a Logitech m705 for 3 years it's about time for me to move on. I mainly play Fps games so choosing a mouse that can apply for this is pretty important. My current choices are -Corsair M45 -Func MS-3 revision 2 But I'm willing to accept any other suggestions My main question is: WHICH SHOULD I CHOOSE? M45 or func?
-
Hello Folks, Since few days I am doubting on getting a new mouse again! See, Since 2 months now, I have the Roccat Kone XTD. It's a nice mouse, for right hand like me, with some options and nice features. But here is the problem, The mouse doesn't feel always right for me. It's confortable butI have trouble handling it sometimes. So I was looking at the Steelseries Sensei. It has some pretty neat feature and I would like people that own that mouse to answer that thread. I am a CSGO player mainly (only), no COD, no BF, CSGO all the way. Are the features really good and helpfull for gaming? (like this features that keep the pointer in a straight line (no jerkies)). The lifting option? I tend to lift my mouse often so... Is it really confortable for right hand and left hand? Did you see any improvement in your gaming? confort? My grip is more of a Claw Grip. Nice sweet answers would be awesome.

Hello! To make it short: I am considering buying myself a Sensei. Is it the best I can get for the price of close to 100$? Only gaming really. Using palm grip combined with fingertip sometimes. Distance of this for me is 14,5 cm or so: I also need some mouse pad since I'm rocking rock solid on my desk for a year now with some old office laser mouse and it's a nightmare. Price-wise don't want this to be over 30-40$ but if it's worth it then fine. It has to work best with Sensei. Thanks for help and opinions in advance!

Hi guys, I have had the Steelseries Sensei for over a year now, and I've absolutely loved it. I've never had any issues with it up until a month ago; It simply stopped tracking properly. When I move it about 2-3 inches it's supposedly fine, but me as a low sensitivity gamer absolutely needs to move a further distance. When I move at further distances it visually appears to look like it has a ton of negative acceleration. I tested it on a different surface (table), and it worked perfectly fine and in fact smoother than ever before. However, it is way too uncomfortable for me to use it without a mousepad which is why I'm quite stumped. I use the Razer Goliathus and I took into account that the mousepad could be worn out, however it's a large mat and I tested it in area's I've never actually used before. I did update all its drivers/firmware and nothing has really worked for me. Does anyone have a solution for me or have any recommendations? cheers.

I'm currently using Razer Imperator for around 2 years and its sensor is dying. It would sometime not register on my Razer Destructor 2 mat . I'm considering either Razer Deathadder or Steelseries Sensei for my next purchase. I mostly play CSGO and a bit of DOTA2. What do you guys think about these two? Or do you guy guys have other recommendations? My budget is up to $150. Thanks!

So, I ordered a sensei wireless on june 29th, and received it five days later. For about three weeks it worked fine, and then it fell about 3-4 feet onto carpet and the side buttons and CPI button stopped working (they still worked physically, they just weren't registered). My old mouse was a sensei, and that mouse survived multiple drops on HARDWOOD floors but the only thing that was broken was the metallic coating, but it was chipping off due to sweat. I don't know why the sensei wireless is way more fragile than the sensei, it doesn't seem like steelseries would need to make anything regarding connections weaker. My advice to anyone who has a sensei wireless or is planning to get one is to be really careful with it and to not drop it, otherwise a connection internally will break and only the basic buttons (LMB,RMB,MMB) will work.

Guys i need help, which one do you guys think is the best overall mice....Sensei(or any other SteelSeries) or g502 ?, i love the sensei customization BUT, i don't like the only 4 custom buttons on the sides, i would love more than 4, like the ones on the logitech BUT again i have a problem, i don't know which one is more confortable, have better performance and i don't like the 0 appearance customization of the g502, apart from that, which one is better for overall gaming, more for MOBA and FPS games(i know that the sensei is being used by league of legends and other games professionals, but i don't t know if its only because of sponsorship), thanks(i don't want any naga or g600) . EDIT: Thank you all for the help, i live in argentina and now ,after a lot of search, couldn't find a way to buy the logitech g502 (#$%#$%) is the sensei a good mice ?,and, isn't right that the sensei is better than the Raw version and the Rival at customization and sensor ?... thanks guys
