I have an SSD on hand already that will be used, I didn't include it in the part list because I did not want to accidentally purchase another.

Budget (including currency): My budget should hover around $1,000 (less is nice) USD for case, motherboard, CPU (intel or AMD, but I do like the idea of integrated graphics), CPU cooler, memory, and storage, as well as anything else y'all think is worth while. See "other details" to see what I already have. Country: America Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: I will use this PC for a lot of youtube and various internet browsing, but mostly some gaming (the borderlands franchise, dark souls 2 and 3, planet zoo, and other such "older" titles) to catch up to the AAA titles and possibly dip into them. Maybe some light playing around in blender, but nothing serious there. I still have a Lenovo Y510P that's my daily driver, and have finally saved enough money for my first tower in this crazy time. Other details I added a photo and link of my pc part picker list so far. Outside of what I need, I already have a monitor (BenQ GW2760S), keyboard (SteelSeries Apex 7 TKL red) , mouse (LG G403 hero), GPU (strix 1080 OC), and a 650watt 80plus gold power supply (my buddy is giving it to me). Oh, I have an Xbox one controler, so I'm going to get a wierless adapter for that. I'm seeing them for $25 or so usd (forgot about that in pc part picker). I'm going full air cooled and I'm pretty much set on the beQuiet! pure base 500dx, but will take suggestions if y'all have them. I have a small data hording love, so if there's room for more storage, I'm interested (no worries if not). I'm kind of ignoring the price of windows 10 home right now, my buddy has a boot drive and all I need to buy is the widows key, so y'all can decide if you want to add that into the budget. I plan on getting a second monitor in the future, but as of right now my benQ is plenty for me. When I do add a second one, I will most likely focus on refresh rate and stick at 1080p for the quality unless I find a good deal on a 4k lg oled gaming tv, but that's for another discussion and more saving. Budget (including currency): $1,800-2,000 (or more depending on if I can do but I would like to get more bang for my buck and for it to last me a long time) USD Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: heavily for graphic design, making music and videos, podcasts/streaming (hopefully), gaming (Minecraft - Cyberpunk) Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I already have AMD Ryzen 7 5800x 4th gen 8 core for the processor and the Corsair RMX 750w 80plus white power supply. I would like to have two monitors I know that for sure due to all the work I am going to be doing. Right now I have a Microsoft surface so I would be starting from scratch. I appreciate any and all who help! The two different SSDs are my biggest question: do I need two different ones? Can I get away with one and get a 1TB internal hard drive? Cause I'm going to be doing a lot of projects.

I'm going to have two monitors and 1440p. One is going to have a refresh rate of 60Hz but have better color accuracy for color grading and photo editing. The other will be running at 240Hz and will be used for recording game play. This is my first build, so I would like a second opinion on the parts before I start buying them.

Hello LTT community! First time poster here looking for some second opinions on the parts I am considering buying for a new build. I do have some previous experience with building computers (went to college for networking but it's not what I ended up doing with my life) but it has been awhile and I am a little behind on the current trends. Below you will find a Newegg PC builder link with the parts I am considering buying and I would like to get some second opinions on the build. I am currently not aiming for anything above 60FPS at 1080p but I am trying to make the build so that I only need to upgrade the graphics card in order to achieve 60FPS at 4K. I already own the case and graphics card as they where given to me by a friend when they upgraded their system. https://newegg.io/295e4cc One of the main things that is making me scratch my head is the RAM. At first when I was choosing the RAM I went with a G.Skill Trident RGB DDR5 6400 2x16GB but when researching further into the mother board I have chosen, it states that the max overclocking frequency for 1DPC 2R is 5400. To be able to get frequencies of 6400 I would have to get 1DPC 1R. This was a bit to expensive for my blood as I want to hit 32GB of RAM and to get this with one single rank of RAM is not cheap. This is why I decided to go with the Corsair Vengeance DDR5 5600 2x16GB. However when I looked into the specs of the processor, for the memory types it says DDR5 4800. This is where I am confused as I am not sure if this is the minimum the processor supports or the maximum so I am still not sure if my build can take advantage of the RAM I chose. Lastly I am also unsure if I should go with a 13th Gen Intel processor. They just came out and are usually backordered so I don't know if it's worth the wait to hold out for one of them or just go with the top of the line for the 12th Gen. Aside from that, any other opinions on the build would be greatly appreciated! 1.Budget and Location $2500 Canada, I already have the case and graphics card 2. Aim Gaming at 1080p 60FPS with the possibility to upgrade the graphics card in the future in order to achieve 4K 60FPS. 3. Monitors One 1080p 24 inch 60Hz monitor. Plan on upgrading to a three monitor 1440p 60Hz setup in the future. Also plan on using the PC with my 4K TV for 4K gaming in the future when I upgrade the graphics card. 4. Peripherals I have all the peripherals I need. 5. Reason for upgrading My current gaming rig is seriously outdated, can only get 30FPS at 1080p for some modern games, with most running at lower frames than that.

Hey Everyone, My friend would like to do one big-ish upgrade to his PC. So obviously, I told him to grab a new GPU (maybe an RX480 8GB) because that's one of the simplest upgrades to make. My dilemma right now is that I've only kept up what's new as far as CPU's (and GPU's for that matter) for the last two-ish years, which leaves out a lot of AMD chips. What should he upgrade? I'd love to hear some thoughts. Specs that I'm aware of and are relevant to this: CPU: AMD FX-4300 3.8GHz GPU: R9 270x Also relevant to this conversation, he's having some big issues running Battlefield 1 multiplayer and can't figure out why (single player apparently works fine). Hi I'm new here and I wanted to have a second opinion and somme tips about a rig that i will start building. (HDD is not important, I'm keeping my previous HDD's). I'm an Intel and nVidia guy. This rig costs €1 732,00. My budget is €1750,00. Hello everybody I'm planning on building a PC, I've made a build with help from some other people. I'd like to have some second opinions, just to be sure! Please tell me if i made good choises, or not ( if not, please tell why ) Battlefield 4 is out! and my own pc is just not good enough. Just using 1 screen. Should be a bit "Future proof" my budget is around 1500, but it got a bit higher. I'm propably overclocking a little bit, but i dont think i need watercooling.
