Nice to meet you Back in 2015 ~ 2016 I built this build: CPU: i5 6400 Motherboard: H110M-DGS (Not quite this one, but very similar) Ram: 24 Gb 2133 Mhz GPU: GTX 950 Gigabyte OC, 2GB Case: InWin 301 Red Tempered Glass Premium Micro-ATX (Not quite this one, very similar but the one I got is discontinued) Storage: 1TB WD 3.5 HDD, AND NOOO SSD!!! I spent around 1000$ CAD for this build. To make matters worse, I bent the cpu socket pins! I re-bent them and then it worked (I bent like 20 of them, but when I fixed it, everything worked!). So now four years later, I'm having a hard time running games like Warzone. So, I really fucked up. To redeem myself, I wanted to make a really good build that focused on price to performance. The new build costs me ~ 750$ CAD. Talk about saving a lot of money for a waaayyyy better gaming experience right?! The biggest thing will be having an SSD, it will be crazy! By the way, if you're wondering why I did not get a better graphics card it's because I don't really care about graphically intensive games all that much, I play a lot of Supreme Commander and my processor was holding me back so the GPU upgrade was just a luxury. What do you guys think?

Country: Aruba Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming and photo editing and everything with photography. gaming would be LoL,SC2 and heart of the swarm, GTAv, scrap mechanic, runescape, all Battlefields all of them. Monitors 1 monitor for now but i do plan in the future for 2 monitors. resolution and refresh rate i nvr understood it,so it doesn't matter? system current: OS W10 pro, 550w psu, manufact dell inc,model inspiron 530 ory007 motherboard, cpu: intel core 2 duo E7300 2.66ghz 8G RAM but only using 4G I know why already, not making same mistake!! harddrive 1TB with 3TB externaldrive. GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 610 monitor is Viore i think its 32 inch.. it runs max 1920x1080 if this helps in any way. i have it at this max currently to see if it makes a difference ingame. Hey I seem to like the AMD's moderately new Ryzen CPU's... I have decided to do my second build and they have got my eyes shining with their impeccable performance and amazing prices... Is there anything that I should look out for before building the PC? Also how does it handle overclocking? GPU's and Ram recommendations will be appreciated..

Hi there, I finally was able to start my new pc and I ran in some truble in the bios. In the EZ mode it shows me that there is storage plugged in but in the advanced options are no m.2 ssds available. In the boot menu nothing shows up as well. I used my m.2 ssd for a while on another pc, win 10 boots perfectly on there but here it is not even an option. How can I adjust the settings to finally boot or should I return it and get another board (not my favorite way of doing things but after changing every possible setting, which I thought would be safe for the system at least and might help the issue, I still could not change anything in this situation).

Hi guys, i'm planning to upgrade my gaming set up with a new ultra wide monitor, and i decided my tower also needs an upgrade/revamped look. The main purpose of the build is to make sure i can make the most of my new monitor set up, i have limited space and will need to mount any monitor with a big footprint on my desk as i lack desk depth due to room constraints.I am keen to keep the white/blue colour scheme for a ice/frost sort of look, I'm a aesthetics whore sorry and want my system to be as quiet as possible as it will be sitting right next to me. I also live in the UK The main purpose will be for gaming with scope for potentially going into streaming and or video editing. But if i can just get nice raw performance for the sake of it that wouldn't bother me money isn't too much of an issue but i don't want to just spend money for the sake of it. I will also be looking to build my own custom water loop for this system at some point next year but that will be a different project, once again many thanks on any suggestions. I built my first computer only three months ago and since then I've been looking for ways to upgrade because of my compromising attitude of the original build. The Specs for the first build are as follows: CPU: Intel Core i5-4590 @ 3.3Hz CPU Cooler: Hyper 212 Evo MOBO: MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition ATX RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) STORAGE: Kingston SSDNow Series 120GB (Boot) WD Caviar Blue 1TB HDD (Storage) GPU: XFX Radeon HD 6770 CASE: Corsair 330R Blackout Edition PSU: Corsair CSM 550W 80+ Gold Semi-Modular OS: Windows 10 Background There is a small story to go with the CPU and graphics card. My Uncle works at a business around my area and he offered me free parts, so I took them whether they were good or not. The CPU is great for what I do but the graphics card is lacking so bad I need an upgrade now. The Plan The plan is to transplant the entire build into a Master Case Pro 5 because I felt the 330R is very limiting and I want to see my handiwork with the side panel on the Master Case. To replace the graphics card with a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 4GB Windforce. (All I can afford at a fourteen year old's budget) Underlying Reason for Making This Topic The main reason was just to get other opinions on it, constructive criticism toward my plans, as well as extra advice for the future.
