What happened is: I clicked on the Media save location to go to my clips and it showed me an empty folder, so I went to the software and pressed 'Reset Setting' (the arrow seen below) to see if it brought me to the location where my clips were actually stored. After pressing this I can no longer record 'any' clips. I have tried turning record desktop off, re-installing it, turning different settings on and/or off, I've restarted my pc, I also checked if it just doesn't allow my desktop recorded but it doesn't record at all. When I press 'Ctrl+Shift+S' a pop-up comes up at the top right that says it's turned off, when it isn't turned off at all. I can't find any way to change the Media Save Location, so i just don't see a way to fix this. On a side note: I did figure out where my clips were, I opened 'Explorer' and went to quick access and the folders were all there.

Hi there, I've just upgraded from a GTX 970 to a RX 6700 XT, and am having trouble with the adrenaline software. When I swapped the gpu's I used a display driver uninstaller to remove all the NVidia drives. and then clean installed the AMD adrenalin software. There is no streaming tab, no video recording tab or anything. I've tried multiple solutions, I've reinstalled the drives many times, even using AMD's driver cleanup tool. I've checked to make sure that hyper v is of, it is and has never been on, and I have disabled windows from automatically changing the display drives through both the Local Group Policy and through system control. The only way I have been able to get the tab and options to apare is when I installed the enterprise version of the drives. However when using the enterprise version of the drives forza horizon 5 gives the error code FH302, no graphics drives installed and refuses to launch. I can't find any more solutions to try to fix this issue does anyone know what I should try? Thanks

Hi everyone! Does anyone know why my footage is so dark when I do an instant replay? Here's how it looks: I've got an Samsung Odyssey G5 32" 144Hz monitor (HDR is turned off) and my rx vega 64 is running the latest drivers. Anyone got the same issue? Every answer will be much appreciated!

So i started using AMD ReLive to record my videos for YouTube, but I've realized when i would import them into premiere pro, the audio video sync is completely off. The video is a good 5 second behind the audio. When i watch the video outside of premiere pro its completely fine, but when i import it into premiere, it gets all messed up. Anyone know how to fix this?

Hey guys I got my new PC up and running last Saturday, and it's really good in games. However, the AMD ReLive drivers are causing my PC to blue screen This has happened to me about 8 times since Tuesday (when it first happened) The BSoDs never show up on my monitor and I've never had error info...until now. What I'm doing doesn't matter, it's happened playing L4D2 and with only Spotify and Discord open. It's not overheating or anything What in fuck's name is going on? TLDR: New PC fucking up, don't know what to do Important info: Specs: FX 8300 (stock), ASUS Strix RX 470 on latest drivers, MSI 970A-G43 mobo, EVGA 600w 80+ white PSU, Windows 7 Pro SP1 fully updated Error info I got on login: Windows: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: BlueScreen OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48 Locale ID: 2057 Additional information about the problem: BCCode: fe BCP1: 0000000000000004 BCP2: FFFFFA800F60A8B0 BCP3: FFFFFA800F5FDC70 BCP4: FFFFFA80129779B0 OS Version: 6_1_7601 Service Pack: 1_0 Product: 256_1 AMD ReLive Host Application: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: amddvr.exe Application Version: 10.1.1.1674 Application Timestamp: 58ba33d3 Fault Module Name: amddvr.exe Fault Module Version: 10.1.1.1674 Fault Module Timestamp: 58ba33d3 Exception Code: 40000015 Exception Offset: 0000000000093eee OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48 Locale ID: 2057 Additional Information 1: ff2d Additional Information 2: ff2da7018b6c9b7b4a29bdac1c8186eb Additional Information 3: 21fe Additional Information 4: 21fea17fdcfb7e4a56ab751e6f171cd6

Sometimes the overlay in the corner of my screen for relive decides to switch off to my second monitor only allowing me to record whats on my second monitor and not my game. Or even worse it'll just disappear and I cant use relive at all unless i open up readeon settings and restart it. This is getting really annoying especially after doing something insane in H1Z1 or csgo etc. and not being able to save it. Does anyone know a fix to this. GPU - RX480 8gb

First, not sure which topic to put this in - not quite software, & not quite gaming... So, I'm trying to live stream to Youtube (or possibly twitch, but having more issues there) and my quality is hell. And it seems to do this no matter what my settings are. I've got a premium copy of Xsplit, which came w/ my mobo so I'm mostly using that. Both Gamecaster & Broadcaster. I know x264 gives me better quality, so I started there with the default settings. While streaming, I get a little 'rubber banding' in game, but it's not bad. I'm on a 60 Down / 4 Up Mbps cable connection, and the only other traffic on the line is my wife watching a movie. I've tried setting XSplit's bitrate to anything from 1800 - 3800 & it all looks the exact same. There's blurring artifacts & there's no 'crispness' to any surface or edge. (Reminds me of the original Starcraft cinematics!) An example can be found in this video HERE. (its not monetized or anything, just a copy of the stream. That's the best one I've done yet, for quality, so yeah...) I've tried Adaptive vs Constant bitrate. (I've tried downsampling from 1080p to 720p & that made it 100x worse!) Trying to go from 30 to 60 FPS, Youtube just seemed to ignore & kept everything at 30. Using AMD VCE as the encoder makes the quality even worse. Just a few minutes ago, I tried using Gamecaster & just set every setting I could find to AUTO. I'm still waiting for that stream to process to see the results, but the glimpse I got of the live stream itself wasn't any better than what I've already done. After that, I tried doing a local recording using the same settings that I've been trying to use (720p, x264, 30FPS, 2800 Bitrate) and that recording came out perfect. So, yeah, it seems to be something with the stream, but this drop in quality happens regardless of settings, time of day or traffic on the network. When I tried streaming to twitch, the audio would be perfect but the video would only be 5FPS. At first I thought maybe my i5 wasn't powerful enough, but using AMD VCE was just as bad. So I've concluded twitch hates me. I'm completely at a loss for what I can do to improve any of this. I've already got the best consumer internet available in my area, so I posted this hoping someone can give me some software tips. My nephew streams WoW, using XSplit broadcaster & default settings using the same ISP as me, and his comes out great at 720p. (AMD A10-6800K, 16GB RAM, GTX 970 using NvEnc. Not sure what bitrate) HELP! UPDATE: THIS video is of that stream just a bit ago, and just about anything after 1:30, you can hear the audio is still good & smooth, but the video goes to hell. (This is just AUTO for everything - not sure which encoder it used, but I think AMD VCE)

Hi all, I have a dual RX480 crossfire setup and when I game they are soooo loud!! I never had the experience with AMD drivers and their software so I would love to get some help. First question would be fan settings. I don't quite understand what each setting do in ReLive's WattMan. Second question is the settings for each game. There are so many options, some are enabled some are not and I have no idea what's going on. What would be a general rule to follow for the settings? I mainly play Civ6, NFS, Witcher 3 and Cities Skyline. Many thanks! P.S. What types of anti-aliasing do I use and in Witcher 3 do I enable Nvidia Hair?

After my GPU started displaying some artifacts I had to unistinall all drives with DDU because it would even boot to windows, right now I tried installing drivers thruogh amd RELIVE and it just black screens when it's almost over so I'm forced to re-boot my computer and do the same thing over and over again. I can't seem to install drivers on 7870 twin frozr. Does this mean my GPU is dead ? I'm currently running on it but I can't turn on any game.

Hey guys, I just updated my AMD ReLive drivers to the newest version - 17.2.2 - in order to enable enhanced sync, as it sounds quite awesome. I followed the instructions on the AMD homepage to enable it, but in the drop-down menu for vertical synchronisation in the global game settings of the AMD software, there is no option for enhanced sync, which is quite odd, as there is this option in the instruction video and I can't find any other option to enable it. Thanks in advance!

So i installed the new crimson relive driver, and i really want to try the screen cap but, the driver detected the r5 m230 as HD 8500m Which make the relive tab missing I know that r5 m230 is a rebrand of 8500m My question is can i change the HD 8500m back to R5 m230 Sorry for my english

Ok so it updated to the new update, on installation the update caused my whole system to freeze up and not respond for a good 4 mins. So i hard shut down the machine and then when it booted it kept freezing up finally i got into safe mode then it said i had no amd graphics cards on board. Then i put into fix disk safe mode i honestly have no clue how to get out of it, i cant sign in all i can do is look at network connections, ease of access, and shut down or restart. I need some help i do not want to wipe my whole system again. Specs: I7 6700k 2x RX480's Seagate 3TB drive Asus Sabertooth z170 s mobo 16 gig of corsair ram to top it off a 1000 watt power supply

I just updated to the AMD Crimson ReLive driver update. Now I can't overclock my GPU in afterburner past the stock frequency which is 1040 MHz. It doesn't even give me the option. I cant oc memory either it only allows up to 1500 MHz which is stock. Any other AMD users having this problem? Is this normal with driver updates?

So before I installed the new relive drivers, i was able to undervolt my 390 by -100mV with a 1010mHz (40mHz downclock) clock speed in MSI afterburner. After installing the relive drivers, MSI afterburner doesnt work anymore and I tried using the wattman to undervolt again. So i changed the voltage control to manual and keyed in a -100mV undervolt (1275mV to 1175mV) but every time I press enter the values will always reset to 1275mV again. So my question is, is this a bug? or is this something AMD disabled on the 390? I really want to undervolt it because the card use to run a lot cooler with less noise while not impacting performance to badly.

Having an issue with regard to AMD's Radeon software. Whenever I record, instant replay, or in-game replay, the output file displays a black screen with only audio to speak of. GPU - ASUS DUAL RX580 8GB If any more relevant info is needed, I'd be happy to provide. EDIT: Well, Sh*t. The issue's been fixed, I just had to download the latest Radeon software version, if this problem is occuring to you, do the same.

just as the title says, I'm having an issue with my AMD Relive, mostly with the recording feature to be specific. whenever I turn on the instant replay, the notification would show up that it's now ON and there's a little red bar on the top-left side of the desktop (that is usually the sign of the feature turned on), however, that bar would disappear after a few seconds, and whenever I press the instant replay shortcut, AMD Relive would say that the feature is off (which technically correct, since there's no red bar in sight) but when I checked the settings it's actually still on I've tried: -reinstalling the driver -clean driver reinstall with DDU (both on normal mode and safe mode) -changing other settings (such as record desktop, borderless region capture, record quality, etc) -trying it out on different games and even desktop I recently upgraded my GPU from RX 480 to a Vega 56 and the problem persists, and I don't know the reason it kept happening, since it just happens without any error whatsoever (one day I recorded my gameplay just fine, turn the PC off, next day, it just won't work anymore) I hope that someone could help me

Recording at a lower resolution than in-game
ExalyThor posted a topic in Programs, Apps and Websites
Hi! I've been debating if I should buy a 1440p monitor for gaming, but I do video recording as well. My question is if i game at 1440p but i set shadowplay up to record at 1080p only, would it look nasty? I'm asking because I've played with custom resolutions in games, and upscaling my 1080p screen to 1440p looked worse than 1080p while upscaling it to 4k it looked better (because 4k is exactly 4 times bigger than 1080p). My question is if recording at 720p will actually look better than recording at 1080p on a 1440p screen because of the bad scaling...- 1 reply

Hello. I have a r7 360 graphics card. I have been experiencing a problem. I used Relive to record Fortnite. It worked perfectly. 1080p 60fps. when i used the same settings and encoder with OBS. There is always an encoding overloaded error that results in the video being very choppy is there a way to use obs while still recording at 1080p 60 fps?

Hello. I wanted to use Instant Replay but it just toggles off at the end, i think it's something to do with windows defender? Yet i have all the options ticked off (I think), i cannot elaborate much, but if any info is needed contact me. Please.. CONTEXT: My friend is a dirty son of a gun and snagged a used Alienware with an 8th gen i5 and crossfire 580s for a stupidly low price. I bought one of his 580s off him and it runs great, unless I am using reLive. My problems are that when I use ReLive, I come across a couple of issues: It will lag and eventually crash the game I am playing (faster if I alt-tab out for whatever reason). This seems to be only related to when I play Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six (but then again, that is the only shooter I am playing right now), but when I activate ReLive, either immediately or gradually over time I get major input lag and desync for what seems to be no apparent reason. I assume the card is only as old as the computer, which was constructed in November 2017. It is a stock, blower style cooler. No signs of previous OC. I previously was using an Asus GHz edition HD 7770 2GB. That card did not experience any issues with ReLive (other than not being able to handle any modern AAA game at 1080p@60fps). Otherwise, my setup is a FX-6300 (installed in 2013, still on stock cooler) with a 600 550 watt Rosewill PSU, 8gb of Kingston ram (DDR3-1600), and HDD only. Its all in a phantom 410 with all fan mounts filled. The side fan by the GPU is feeding the card cold air from outside the case. In other words, I doubt its a cooling issue but I could be wrong. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

Title says it all. Does it support Relive to record gameplay footage or even use for streaming? Haven't seen reviewers answer this question on the new Ryzen APUs, both the desktop chips and the laptop chips
