looking to buy some decent plasti-dip in Canada (Ottawa specifically) Are there any good stores in the area (all of Ottawa) or online to buy?

Hi there, I saw Linus' build log where they painted the Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM. I would love to paint mine black and green in the same way. I can paint the top parts black, no problem. But how in the world are you supposed to paint those light bars? They're supposed to transfer the light, if you paint them with plasti-dip how is the light gonna go through there? Has anyone tried changing the colour on these things?

Hey guys, would like some info on if painting my future gtx 980 will affect the RMA and thermal capability of the coolers and fans and so on. Thanks, I also want to paint it white. Not sure what paint is perfect for the job but plasti-dip has been recommended.

Hey world! Recently I have been planning out a mod for my pc and case. I have decided to go with a hot pink/ gun metal grey theme because I think that is quite rare and I like to be unique I will be painting: - Motherboard heatsinks - Ram heatsinks - Plastic fan rings (Corsair AF140) - Perhaps certain areas of the side panels These are the items I will be painting Hot pink. I was wondering if http://www.homebase.co.uk/en/homebaseuk/rust-oleum-hot-pink---mode-spray-paint---400ml-125010 would be any good to withstand these conditions. I will be using Plasti-Dip for the gun metal grey, but I am not sure if the Rust Oleum can withstand these tempuratures. Thanks! Max

Hi, I have had a green/black NZXT H440 for a few months now and have noticed some scuffing of the matte black finish caused by my chair. To get rid of this, I thought about using Plasti-dip to paint the matte black parts of my case. Will this stop my chair scuffing the case and can you recommend a product I can use. Thanks

General Wiring: Terminal Types This is a general overview of all the terminals one may encounter inside their PC when sleeving or making new cables. Powering RGB LED's RGB LED strips will require a controller to cycle through the different colors and modes and to power that requires a special adapter. Wiring up LED Strips For LED strips there are multiple ways of wiring them for operation, one using by soldering and another with LED crimp connections. 5V or 7V Molex Mod Image Provided by: Lutro0customs This is a method of manually undervolting fans that are directly power to the PSU to run quieter without low noise adapters. Materials For creating new panels, mounting plates, covers, or even entire cases many different materials can be used and each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Cutting Tools Tool selection for projects depend on the job and situation where cut quality speed and precision are all important factors. PSU Shrouds To create your own PSU shroud it will require measuring your specific case for cuts and sizing since it can vary between cases, the shroud itself can be made with a variety of materials from metals to plastics. Vinyl Wrap and Decals Vinyl wrap is a great way to change the look of cases and parts to color coordinate a system or add a new look with custom designed decals, they come in a variety of colors and finishes with some evening being mirror finished metals, to brushed aluminums. Painting: General Painting This will go over the main topics and techniques mainly for spray painting plastic and metals including clear coat finishing, and touch on brush painting. Plasti-Dip The spray we all love to use, as of recently it’s probably the most common modding product used for re-coloring. In general this will go over the properties of plasti-dip and some of the good and bad. Motherboard and RAM Painting Re-coloring heatsinks or heat spreaders to color co-ordinate builds are common practice and can be done fairly easily with spray paints or coatings with little impact to heat dissipation. PSU Painting Image Provided by: Linus Painting a PSU is possible but does require some understanding in wiring and comes with a certain risk when opening a PSU. GPU Painting Image Provided by: Rumikarimu This is a fairly general guide on GPU painting and will focus on painting accents or shrouds where it will not have an impact on cooling performance.

As the title states, I will be dipping my C70 at some point. It has some scratches and imperfections that such would cover up and I want to do so. But how many cans do you think I would need? I don't want to get stuck with not enough plasti-dip, considering it is a pain in the ass if I need to order more. And should I invest in a can-gun for one such as this? Do you think it would be helpful for dipping the case?

So I some how got myself a 3060, but i want it to match my set-up. I want to plasti-dip my gpu White, but as somebody with 0 experiance, i dont trust myself enough to do it myself. does anybody know where or who i could go to have it done for me? also i found a post of linus plasti-dipping a whole computer, and the tempeture's were awful. how bad would it be if JUST the case&backplate were modded? thanks in advanced!
