Hi, i have luck today, and I ordered RTX 3080 Gainward Phantom GS. But then I searched for some reviews and I didn't found any legit YouTube, Tech site review. I just found some user comments and this small review on reddit Is here somebody who had this card or has it now, can you agree with this review. I noticed they released new BIOS 2.12.2020, maybe they are trying to fix those issues. If someone has this card, can you try this new BIOS and tell temperatures and fan noise. I have same case as the guy from reddit, Phanteks P600s with 3x140mm Be Quiet intake fan's and 1x140 mm out take fan. So airflow in my case should be very similar. Thank you.

Wow, That's A Lot Of Hardware...: So about a month ago I tore my rig apart for a clean. This was during my move from the office to bedroom. I took the whole of my case apart and blasted it with an air compressor. Broke out the wet wipes too, got everything looking nice and fresh. I've got some images of the hardware laid out but nothing of the actual job. I did this within three hours so everything apart from the HDD and the GPU got taken apart. This is before I got me second 290x. Whats Next?: Many things, some stuff coming out on the main blog for upcoming builds. As well as progress with the red mod. Expecting big updates early next week now since delivery dates got pushed back. Looking for any input you might have for this project, and for the others. Thank You :)

Alright, I was thinking about my drone, and how the range is semi-limited and you have to be pointed in the general direction, and so I thought about possible ways of extending it. Wouldn't it be somehow possible to extend the range via some kind of satellite or large antenna? How would someone possibly go about to do this?

Quick question for those who know, according to the dimensions on NZXT's page, it appears this full tower is going to be larger than what I think a full tower is. Does anyone actually know if this case is a larger Full Tower, or approximately the average size a Full Tower is? Reason I want a Full Tower is, I like the asthetics of the case, and the ability to have lols of upgradability in the future.

I have the opportunity of choosing between the white and black version of the phantom 530 and I saw and issue from a user on Reddit claiming that the white color started degrading into a yellowish color. I think that the black one looks gloosy but I don't want to spend that kind of money into the white one if that's what's gonna happen in the long run. What are your opinions?

Right now I'm looking forward to buying a Modmic 4 to upgrade my microphone setup and I'm trying to make it work with my mixer. Problem is, a lot of people online have been saying that the Modmic does not work at all with mixers. Apparently, the Modmic 4 needs a bit of voltage in order to work (1-10V but 12V allowed). A microphone port on a PC or a USB adapter would easily fulfill this requirement, but the TRS port on my mixer does not supply power and the XLR port will obviously burn the mic out if I turn on the +48V phantom power. Many people have brought up the solution of somehow decreasing the +48V phantom power from my mixer down to about 12V. Currently, my solution to this problem would to get this external phantom power supply along with the Modmic 4. I would convert the 3.5mm TRS connector of the Modmic 4 to XLR using an adapter, then I would plug that into the input of the phantom power supply. I'd set the voltage to 12V instead of 48V (there's two modes) and then I'd output the signal back into my mixer. I'm wondering if there would be any unforeseen problem that could arise (I don't have too much experience with audio and audio equipment) or if this would actually the one solution that could finally fix this. (also btw my mixer is an M-Audio M-Track 2x2)

At the moment I am looking to purchase a pair of DT 990 250 Ohm headphones, an Audio-Technica AT2020 microphone and a metal box (Audio Interface) to power both the XLR phantom power and headphones I plan on purchasing. What I Need Help With 1. What audio interface would you recommend under €50? 2. What cables do I need which don't come with the Mic or Audio Interface? Any additional XLR cables? 3. What boom arm would you recommend for the AT2020 for my desk? N.B. Audio Interface needs to support both 48V Phantom Power for the AT2020 and power the DT990's. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hey guys! I recently got the update of the DJI Go 4 app (4.1.3), and it brought support for my phone model, S7 Edge. I was able to launch it a few times, but after that, the app does not work anymore.

Mavic Pro Platinum is 4 db quieter and has an extra 3 minutes of battery life. WOW that's totally worth an extra $100. (sarcasm) Why not mavic pro +? mavic pro platinum sounds dumb. I wonder if the new propellers are compatible with mavic pro. For the phantom 4 obsidian, no info yet but seems its just a new color. http://www.dji.com/mavic-pro-platinum?from=homepage_banner http://www.dji.com/phantom-4-pro

So it came the day, that the good old trusty Abit Fatal1ty FP IN-9 Sli died after 10 Years of hard use. Still fixable I think, but it has now to make room for new hardware. It's way of life, at first it was the upgrade for my wifes gaming computer. I couldn't get hold of a C Stepping C2D E8400 so I plugged in a C2D E4400 first. Two of the ram sticks a 2 GB set Dual Channel ADATA Vitesta DDR2 800 were plugged in as well as a GF 7600. The poor machine was tortured in a Sharkoon Rebel9 Case in which it developed a kind of claustrophobia. After getting swapped with a ASROCK Fatal1ty Z77 Professional it found its way into our living room, running 24/7 as Media (Kodi) and Development/Test Server. Some of the Elkos died so it seems, I'll swap them out some day to see if the board can be kept and running, because, it is a beauty =) If you want to see a really nice casemod including this board, head over to Million Dollar PC and look up the Edelweis. (not my work but a really good looking mod I think) Plugged in it was a Gainward Phantom GTX 560, an awesome powerful and really silent card I loved. But it will make room too and will be kept as spare part on a shelf. Yes the ugly thing all the components are put upon is the temporary case that will be used on for some time. Here a last look at the beauty it even has RG without B:

I got a new dji phantom 3 standard for Christmas. Because it's cold and rainy, I decided it would be a good idea to try it out in the garage. Everything was going well untill I let up a little too much and it bounced upside down into a very small puddle in the garage. Now, only one motor fires up. Any help? Thanks!

Aye! I'm situated in Europe and I've been looking for this case for some time now.. And I've been basically completely out of luck. I've found one in Germany, but it was sold within before I was able to sort out shipping.. Any help would be appretiated. Cheers peeps!

Hey guys. I've just bought a used GTX 970 Phantom from Gainward. I have no idea through how many hands this thing went, but it was definitely opened before. I noticed that from either scratched or destroyed labels on screws (and also missing screws, but this is thankfully not really that important). Anyway, my problem is really weird and I have never experienced something like this before. After installing the drivers, the card immediately went into noise overkill mode and after a bit of trial and error with this and that, I found out that 1 of the 2 fans is always spinning at either maximum or near maximum speed, while the other fan is not only spinning at minimum like it should (in idle) but it is also controllable via Afterburner and such. The fan on maximum could not be controlled by any program that I've tried so far. Also noticeable is that GPU-Z shows the % at which the fans are spinning, but NOT the rpm. Every video I've seen so far has had the rpm showing for them and those people also had control of both fans and the noise was noticeably quieter than what my card produces. Following this, I decided to disassemble the cooler to look for any problem related to the fans and I've discovered that the fan constantly spinning at maximum indeed has the same 4-pin header as the other fan, but only 3 cables connected to it (Image 1). The fans are the same model number and have the same date stamped on them. The difference is in the cables leaving the small PCB which is stuck to the cooler (Images 2 and 3). One fan has 4 cables soldered, while the fan spinning at max only has 3. From that point on, they meet and connect to the card PCB via a single 4-pin header (so it's 7 cables going into that header). My question is mainly if this is supposed to be like that? So if anyone else here has or had a 970 Phantom, any info is massively appreciated so I can make sure that this is intentional or not (which it probably isn't). Also, if this is unintended, what chances do I have to fix this problem without having to rewire and resolder connections? Admittedly, I'm not very tech savvy. Any help is greatly appreciate! Thanks in advance.

**Tutorial Post** So, you wanna use your new Antlion ModMic with your nice Scarlett 2i2 or your Presonus Audiobox 22vxl but GAH! It doesn't work! WHY? You ask? Well PHANTOM POWER of course! But you can't just grab one of these and say everything's hunkey dorey. Nuh-Uh. That will KILL your precious ModMic. Why? Because the standard voltage for phantom power in the professional audio world is 48 Volts! Guess how many the ModMic wants? Go on, guess. its FIVE volts. So here's what ya gotta do: Go get yo self one of THESE bad mammajammas. Yeah, this puppy will take that SPICY 48v power and drop it down to a frosty 5v for your modmic. Plug that sucker into your DAC and away you go! You'll be sounding like a radio DJ from the 60's in no time! But seriously though. Don't turn on the phantom power without this adapter. You will quickly be releasing the magic blue smoke from your mic. And then you will cry. And no one wants to be friends with a cry baby.

Hello, I've been thinking of updating my rig after a long time but I've come up with some questions that I'm confused about. I have a NZXT Phantom case, the original (linked) and there is so little information and videos about it. I wondered if I could fit a 240 mm AIO liquid cooler or even a 280 mm ( kraken x62) since it looks roomy and I've seen some comments saying it needs special fans. I had in mind go with a i5 6800k and saw some decent motherboards but I'd like some recommendations with that as well ( 100-170 bucks budget). I'd appreciate it a lot if anyone with one could help to clear that out, thanks a lot! )

Hey, everybody. I acquired a Phantom 3 pro about 3 months back for work doing commercial videography as well as inspecting our buildings for roof damage. (I know, not exactly how I would like to use it, but whatever, I got management to buy this for me) My question for anyone out there, have you tweaked the controller or drone response to get slower handling? I would love to do some slow pans but find the sensitivity to be a tad high. I have messed with and followed instructions in youtube videos but haven't found anything I like. (maybe I am missing a step?) Has anyone had any experience messing with sensitivity to get some clean shots on this model drone or other? Thanks!

So I have a Phantom 410 case (white, if you care), and am looking to water cool inside of it. I have an AMD FX 8350 Black Edition, and 2 HIS 7870's. Because water blocks for 7870's are expensive and not really worth it for a couple of cards I'll be replacing within the next couple of years, really, I've come up with a way to avoid having to get them. My plan is to get three cpu AIO coolers and two of those NZXT Kraken G10 brackets and attach two of the coolers to my GPU's. In doing this, I hope to : A) Save some money B) Spend the money I spend over a long period of time, thus reducing the financial hit C) Leave myself open to upgrade more freely, as the G10 brackets fit a LOT of cards D) Have an interesting setup, because that shit'll be tight (hopefully) Questions for the forum: 1) Do you think this is a good idea? 2) What config do you think I should get? (I'm thinking a dual rad for the cpu and two singles of the gpu's) 3) Are there any modifications to this plan that you would like to suggest. Thanks a bunch, guys. (BTW, this is my first time posting on here so if I'm breaking some unwritten rule, please let me know)

Hope you guys enjoy! I spent a lot of time in the air over this trip and I think it was worth it! Let me know what you guys think
