What kind of cooling best fits a "white out" themed build? Sub-zero, of course! And how exactly do you get sub-zero cooling? Well, the way that WE did it was through a phase change system... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4d0B0Dli-1g&feature=youtu.be I'm going to list out the components as well as provide a source or two for where you can get them I can't tell you where to buy this stuff, but I do lean towards NCIX for the Canadians (and International viewers if their pricing and shipping costs work out for you) because they're my bros, and for Americans, Brits, and a couple other regions, the Amazon links below are affiliate links, so of course every little bit helps CORE COMPONENTS CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K Unlocked Four Core Processor with HyperThreading NCIX: http://bit.ly/1FMxUfK Amazon: http://geni.us/afZ SSD: Intel 730 Series NCIX: http://bit.ly/1OoU5Nd Amazon: http://geni.us/30Cb Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth Z97 Mark S NCIX: http://bit.ly/1IE3LTN Amazon: http://geni.us/1jhU Case: LD Cooling PC-V10 NCIX: http://bit.ly/1yhGMu7 Amazon: http://geni.us/1h06 LD Cooling: http://bit.ly/1O44X0Y Video Card: GALAX GTX 980 Hall of Fame NCIX: http://bit.ly/1yhGTFV Amazon: http://geni.us/3G59 GALAX: http://bit.ly/1GAWrHK RAM: 32GB HyperX Fury White NCIX: http://bit.ly/1GAWy5Z Amazon: http://geni.us/3Jym Power Supply: Corsair AX860i NCIX: http://bit.ly/1aFq2lE Amazon: http://geni.us/S0M Mouse: Corsair Sabre RGB NCIX: http://bit.ly/1CFWyu5 Amazon: http://geni.us/4EGi Keyboard: Corsair K70 RGB NCIX: http://bit.ly/1aFq5Oh Amazon: http://geni.us/2hLX Monitor (gaming): Acer XB270HU Bprz 27in WQHD G-SYNC IPS 144HZ LED Monitor NCIX: http://bit.ly/1z7Ih94 Amazon: http://geni.us/1Hqk Cooling Components CPU Heatsink: NCIX: http://bit.ly/1DznxfM Amazon: http://geni.us/1h06 LD Cooling: http://bit.ly/1O44X0Y Extra Fans: NCIX: http://bit.ly/1D8Lppg Amazon: http://geni.us/nvX

So a mining company located somewhat locally apperently went bankrupt, and now is having to sell all its assets. Among the inventory is ~200 lose Radeon RX 580 GPUs, dozens of integrated rigs, and more. From what I can see of their inventory, it was a sizable opperation. I'm sharing this here to share some schädenfreude with all of you who dispised the driving up of GPU prices the mining boom incited. And who knows, maybe there are some Dutch people here who also want to pick their bones clean. (auction closes the 7th at 17:00 GMT) < link removed > Be aware that even though it is an online auction site, they don't do delivery; you can't (easily) have it shipped to you. I've had to go to their warehouse to pick up a big SAN setup before. So if you do want to bid, REALLY check if you can pick it up/get a corier service to do the pickup.

Budget (including currency): under 1400 USD Country: India Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Fortnite, gta 5 (gta 6 when it releases), rdr2 Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): preferably around 80 fps for rdr2 at 1440p (can sacrifice res for fps), not sure whether i should choose amd or intel, and also no peripherals are needed. i also dont know if i should get windows 11 or 10. Would like to hear any monitor suggestions 120 hz 1440p (not included in build)

Budget (including currency): Max. 1000 Euro Country: Germany Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Everything Gaming (1080p to 1440p), Occasional rendering/editing Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): 240+fps for Shooter (Cs,Valorant), ~140 fps for other games (Cyberpunk, Modded MC), I've been using my Computer for around 6 years now with an 'Intel i7 8700k';'RTX 2080' and 4 x 8GB 2400Mhz RAM. My reason for wanting an upgrade is that I can't run said shooters at 240+fps making my 240hz monitor I got gifted by a friend "useless" and some hardware problems I can only relate to my systems age/usage proportions (more frequent blue screens or sudden power-offs for no apparent reason). It's honestly painful letting go of this once "power-house"...but I was able to finally save up said budget with my college-job. Anyway, enough lore and into my upgrade idea: Corsair Crystal 570x with 6 fans (Current Case) Gigabyte Aorus X670 Elite AX (New motherboard for CPU) Ryzen 7 7800x3d (CPU replacement) 2 x 16 GB 6600Mhz G.Skill trident (RAM replacement) RTX 2080 (GPU stays, for now) 950W Be Quiet (Current PSU) Concerning CPU cooling I'm already expecting my old 'Corsair H80i water cooler' to not be sufficient anymore/fit onto the socket. Any recommendations? ALSO I'd really love being more mobile in terms of case-size, so if there are any recommendations in the ATX, mATX category let me hear 'em ! Thanks in advance for reading, and (maybe) answering! Have good day!

What it says in the title, what PSU and GPU should I pair with my 7950X3D (thinking on going AMD for GPU but haven't used one since my old RX580). So, I'm trying to take my old motherboard out of my case and replace it with a brand new one but, when I got to the last two screws holding it in place they spin and then click and don't loosen any farther. The standoffs aren't in a position to be able to get to them with pliers as the screws are in the middle of the board where my case has its structural unremovable metal plating. Please help asap

My Dell G3 15 3590's hinge finally started coming apart. Where is a good place to source some replacement hinges? I do have a Micro Center fairly close by as well as some other choices in Houston. I am just a bit iffy of most online retailers these days with so many horror stories. TIA

Budget (including currency): $2000 CAD Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: TrueNASCore, Paperless-ngx, Photoprism ,a backup manager, maybe wireguard or something to allow me to VPN into the network when I'm away, MAYBE Plex (or maybe my main gaming PC will run plex and handle transcodes, using this as a library. Thoughts appreciated) Other details Ideally will be very quiet, as it will live near a bedroom where the router is. I'm aiming to do a Raid-Z2 setup, so 24Gb total storage. Ideally I'll be running this headless, out of a closet, for pretty much its entire life. Budget (including currency): 1000€ Country: Portugal Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming, 3D Modelling Other details So I have a prebuilt from 2015, Intel Core I3-6100, NVIDIA GTX 950 2GB and 8GB RAM, I really need a new computer it's not that slow most of the time but I'm starting to reach the absolute limit of playing games, newer ones I have to play at 720p low 30fps limit (yes I know), I want to be able to play at minimum 60fps I don't care about any more than that, I have a 27'' 1080p 75Hz monitor that I mistakenly bought for the size disregarding a higher resolution, its fine for me since I have not experienced anything better so I won't notice how bad it is compared to 1440p which I would instead upgrade in the future. I have been looking at motherboard and CPU bundles on the used marketplaces and I know how to see if they're compatible but I don't know which one would be the best choice for future upgradability, I want to make a wiser choice this time, for a GPU I saw the last video about used GPU's from older generations and the idea sounds very good, anything would be a massive upgrade from a 950 I was thinking maybe a 3060, I've seen some for around 300€ I'll appreciate any suggestions. P.S. I put the 1000€ limit but I'd like to spend much less on something decent if possible

Hello to everybody I am looking to find a replacement panel for my HP E27 G4 as well as a potential guide. I would like to know if it can be repaired and potentially where I can get the parts. I have looked in HP's HP PartSurfer for parts but I can not find the part(attached) I have attached the image of how the monitor looks now and the 2 pages from HP. I live in Cyprus ( yes its a country in Europe) so something within Europe would be best Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me.

Hey guys, I was thinking about building myself a new PC, because my old one can't handle the newer games anymore. So i wanted to build one with a i5-13400f and a RX 6700 XT. And because i have a Pure Power L8 CM Modular 80+ Bronze 630 Watt PSU that still is fully functional, i thougth i would use it in this build. It has enough power to handle the newer hardware and is 80+ Bronze, but it is 7 or 8 years old. I want to buy a better psu in the future, but for now does this still Work?

Budget: $500-$1,200 USD Country: United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Lot's of everything Other details: (All PC's Specs. are in the photos) I'm looking for a much smoother experience when gaming, using spreadsheets, or just loading the YouTube home page. Things tend to run slow, it takes 4 mins just to boot up. I have little to no programs running at start. (I have the best internet for my location). I know I need a ssd and maybe some more Ram but honestly I'm noobish. Should I build a new pc from scratch or keep what I have and just upgrade it?

Hello! so i have 450GB i want to use, but i want them to come up as one disc, but as far as i know, i can't do that unless the two partitions (marked in black) are next to each other (no blue partition in the middle) and i don't know how to do that! does anyone know? i've tried deleting the blue one, but that doesent work.

Budget : $2000-$5000 CAD Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Maya, Zbrush, C4D, Substance Painter/ Designer, and a variety of games. Other details : I'm trying to be flexible with my budget but I do need something fairly beefy. I'm a newbie that haven't been up to date with computer parts since my late build from 2016 but I've heard AMD has been doing well and also have a good amount of cores in their cpu for rendering. I was hoping to have a post to hear some part recommendations and maybe hear if someone knows if theres a to be announced thing coming. To help with which parts; I do art for Game Dev and Animation but I'll game on it n maybe take up streaming while I work since that's pretty fun.

What do you guys think? I wont be building this soon but rather around June, but I’m just wondering what everyone thinks if the list. (https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7WP6F8)

im in the us and im looking to build a new gaming computer. I want a powerful rig so my games dont look like they were made in ms paint, yet im trying to be realistic in my goals as i am on a very tight budget. I plan on playing games like M&B Bannerlord, which involves a ton of ai in big scale battles. I plan on playing vr games such as Half Life Alyx. I may do a little of modeling but its not a main concern. I am currently upgrading from a computer built around 2013-2014, cant remember. I want to play at 1080p as i am fine with that, although hopefully capable of 1440p, as i might get a 1440p monitor someday. I would really like to make my new pc small, close to console size(i know its possible, just dont know where to look).Cooling isn't an issue as i have a fan/water-cooling hybrid cooling system in my pc that i can use.I dont need a case as i will build one myself. My budget is 800 USD, although i am willing to stretch the budget slightly *edit: my specs are an AMD A 10-5800k APU, one functioning 4gb ram stick, and a rt 550, and an old derelict dying motherboard.(keep in mind that the computer has been neglected and so dusty, that I can't clean all of it, and to the point of breaking one of the 2 ram slots.) many thanks, Blank user

Guys please help me with this list Let me know if the parts make sense for each other. First time building a PC. I'm going for powerful almost balls to the wall but not quite. I am going for an all white look. Budget (including currency): 4000-7000 SEK/ €400-700 (ideally at lower end but I can stretch) Country: Sweden Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Studio one 3 Professional, Forza Horizon 5, Sea of Thieves, GTA V, CSGO, Valorant, Doom Eternal, Witcher 3. Gaming at 1440p144hz Other details: I'll be upgrading from the following rig. Parts I plan to keep are bolded. MOBO: MSI B85M-E45 RAM: Kingston DDR3 1600mHz CPU: Intel i7-4771 Cooler: BeQuiet PureRock Slim Storage: 3 x 1tb Samsung 870 EVO GPU: MSI Mech OC Radeon RX5700 PSU: Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 750W Case: Fractal Design Define Mini C Naturally, I've been looking at the i5-12600 and i7-12700. I've decided against the K-versions as I'm not really interested in overclocking. Additionally, I'd have to buy an aftermarket cooler just to get the system up and running, which would hurt the value proposition considerably. Instead, I'll be using the included RM1-cooler until I can't stand the noise or if the thermals are unacceptable. At that point, more affordable coolers will be available for the 1700-socket. So here's the question: would the ~50% price increase from the 12600 to the 12700 be worth it? I'd like to be able to use the parts for at least 4-5 years with my current resolution and at least 100ish fps. These are my current options: I've already purchased the RAM. What would you do in my position?
