PC specs: Processor: AMD FX 8120 125w with Thermaltake Contac 21 air cooler. Ram: Corsair vengeance DDR3 2x4 GB. Motherboard: Asus 970 PRO Gaming/AURA. SSD: Consistent M.2 NVME 512GB HDD: 1x Seagate Barracuda 2TB, Seagate Barracuda 80GB. Graphics Card: Zotac Nvidia GTX 1650. PSU: Corsair RM750e. Hi guys, Like the title says, I was using PS/2 keyboard until now recently brought Ant eSports KM1600 usb keyboard & Mouse combo every time I start my PC I have to unplug and replug my keyboard, and it then works fine. Though it didn't occur after a "Windows Restart" but only after disconnecting my PC from AC power source. I have tried in BIOS 1) Turning on & off usb 2.0 legacy, usb 3.0 legacy, EHCI hand-off 2) fast boot on & off with usb option on "Full initialisation" 3) gone through safe boot option there's nothing related to usb. I have tried in windows 1) Device Manager 2) Event Viewer Also tried changing to all usb port on motherboard & cabinet. In simple word my usb keyboard not getting power unless unplug & replug.

Hello Everyone, My mic stops working randomly whenever I'm playing Escape From Tarkov with friends. We use Discord to communicate and everything goes well until randomly my mic will just stop working completely. I tried connecting back to the call and re-launching Discord but that doesn't help. The only way I get my mic working again is by unplugging it from USB port and plugging it back in. I thought that maybe the headset is the issue so I went ahead and borrowed my friend's one. I encountered the same issue today and have no idea what is causing this. The headsets I've tried are Logitech G Pro X (wired) and Corsair Virtuoso XT (wireless). Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank You! P.S: The issue seems to be on my PC. I haven't encountered this issue on my laptop as of yet.

Recently for 2 days, when I use my PC for a long time, my hard disk somehow stops working and doesn't get detected anymore (neither in Windows nor bios). It solves automatically when I don't use my computer for about 6-7hrs. I'm confused about what might be the problem, as I switched to a different port, and checked the cables but nothing seemed to solve the issue. I've also checked for bad sectors but didn't find any. My HDD is a Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200rpm; the exact model would be ST1000DM010-2EP102.

So lately i was having a problem, my pc woudnt turn on and the monitor showed "no display" and the mouse and keyboard light stayed off. The rest of the pc was normal (fans and LED working normally) I would need to keep turning it 2-3 times before working However recently i realized that everytime this problem happens, when the pc starts the gpu fans run for 3 sec and then turns off imemdiatly and the pc seems to fail more and more lately. If it boots up, my PC is completly normal when i use it idle or for minor tasks and can use it all day (once it even kept running idle for 72h), however, under load while gaming, sometimes after 3h and sometimes after 20min or so (i swear it seems random), my screen kinda crashes suddenly to a black screen and the screen goes "no display" again With no sound coming from speakers. When i force shutdown my PC its back to problem n°1 (I don't think it's a temp problem or anything because i noticed the problem happen while my gpu is just at 60-65 °C and CPU was at 40 °C) Idk if its the PSU or the GPU dying or maybe a dust problem ? My build if it helps : CPU : ryzen 5 2600X GPU : Zotac Nvidia Rtx 2060 Mobo : MSI B450M-A Pro Max Ram : T force Delta RGB 2x8 Go 3200 Mhz PSU : Nox Urano VX 650W 80 Bronze + Storage : WD HDD 500Go + Pny SSD 240 Go + Pny SSD 500 go

Hello Everyone, I hope you've come across a solution to this perplexing issue. Allow me to share my recent experience with the MSI MAG Z790 Tomahawk WiFi motherboard, which has been a source of constant frustration and has consumed countless hours of troubleshooting. To begin with, I updated the BIOS to the most recent one for my motherboard from MSI website, when I initially set up the motherboard, I encountered a major hurdle—no drivers were installed. As a result, various components like network adapters, audio, Bluetooth, and others appeared as 'Other devices' in the Device Manager. Connecting to the internet was impossible, forcing me to install the Windows operating system in limited mode. Eventually, I managed to utilize a second PC to download the necessary network drivers from the MSI website. I can't help but wonder if this level of difficulty is normal, as I don't recall encountering such challenges when I built my last system over five years ago. At present, I've managed to get the WiFi working, making the PC usable. However, I haven't been as fortunate with the Ethernet connection. Despite my best efforts, which included manually installing the latest drivers from MSI's website or Intel's, utilizing MSI Center's auto driver installation, and even trying Intel's driver support assistant, I've been unable to establish a functional Ethernet connection. What's interesting is that the latest LAN drivers for my Windows 10 operating system appear to install correctly. In the Device Manager, the Ethernet adapter is listed as 'intel(R) Ethernet Controller i226-V' under 'Network Adapters,' without any yellow exclamation marks or signs of an unidentified device. I've also attempted disabling the device and deleting the drivers to reinstall the latest versions each time I've attempted to troubleshoot. Every other driver that has been installed seems to be functioning as normal, Wifi, audio etc... Unfortunately, Ethernet connectivity continues to elude me. I'm confident that the cable is not the issue, as it is a standard CAT 6 cable that came with my router and functions when connected to my old PC. Additionally, the Ethernet port on the new MSI motherboard does show signs of activity, with the port lights flickering in amber and green during boot-up. Considering this, I find it unlikely that there is a faulty port or motherboard that somehow passed quality control. I believe there must be a simple solution that I have yet to discover. Perhaps I unintentionally unchecked a setting in the BIOS that disables Ethernet connectivity (although I don't believe I have), or maybe it's a minor problem with the router. I appreciate any insights or guidance you can provide in resolving this matter. Thank you

Hi everyone of this awesome community, I have had the last two weeks the most head breaking problem whit my Bluetooth. It just disappaered, no trace of Bluetooth ever existing on my laptop. I go to setting but couldn't turn it on or off. couldn't add any devices. I tried all this but whit no luck. Things that DID NOT work: Using the Windows 10 quick actions panel to turn on Bluetooth. Result: This option did not appear at all. Using Control Panel's Bluetooth settings. Result: This option did not appear at all. Device Manager - scanning for hardware. Result: No effect. Drivers for the hidden Bluetooth devices were already up to date. Windows Updates. Result: No effect. Reinstalling the recommended Acer drivers for the package (Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377). Result: No effect. Performing a typical restart of Windows. Result: No effect. Using services.msc to start, restart, or reconfigure Bluetooth-related services. Result: No effect. Reinstalling third party driver packages for the same hardware. Result: The installer would not complete because the Bluetooth hardware was not detected. Windows Troubleshooter for Bluetooth. Result: The troubleshooter would not complete because the Bluetooth hardware was not detected. The one thing that fixed it all!! Do a complete shut down (hold SHIFT and shut down the computer), unplug the computer from all power for 10 seconds, plug the computer in and start the computer. It just reappeared and worked fine. Finally this fucking he-adage of a problem is over. I wanted to share this because i noticed lots of people having this problem. My network chip is a Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 Wireless Network Adapter in a Acer Aspire E5-575G ligthly modified whit extra ram and storage. Have a great day.

I have GIGABYTE RTX 3080 OC triple fan model. Since I got the card and built my PC, the rgb on my gpu has not turned on ONCE. I really don’t know what to do. I don’t see any options on my GIGABYTE B650M motherboard bios. The RGB Fusion and GCC doesn’t do anything either. My gpu runs fine and fans spin. What do I do?

This is my mother's phone, which has not had any problems until now! The phone all of a sudden stopped responding and the screen turned black, when my mom tried to turn it on again it displayed a white screen with bright, colorful pixels for 30 seconds then a black screen again. I am pretty experienced with tech and I have repaired gaming consoles and my family's phones, and tech overall. I have never seen such a thing and i am really worried that we may lose the photos and videos on the phone. I MUST MENTION: the phone outputs sound when plugging in the charger, i can't call it because it says that my mom's phone can’t be reached, and it vibrates when I try to force restart it by using the power and lower sound buttons! (the phone doesn't have any water damage, dust damage, or any other problems.) The only idea that I may have is that the screen has gone bad and it doesn't display anything anymore. Any suggestions are welcome, as I am willing to try anything in order to save the personal and sentimental information on it!

Model: PH315-52-72EV Specs: i7-9750h 16 gb ram rtx 2060 This laptop was working fine until I had to reset windows due to bad cloning software started erasing the os drive instead of the external one. Left it alone after windows was installed again set up a local account just to get into the desktop and had not set up internet so no drivers that were not on it on first boot. The laptop was working fine still. Turned it off by holding the power button down so i can take the screen off and put it on better. This was bought with a broken screen and i wanted to fix the dent in the frame better so it wouldn't push against the screen as much. After I had fixed the dent and put the screen on. It would not turn on though the blue charging led was on for a bit and then turned off and now wont turn on at all anymore. I have opened the laptop many times before this and have fiddled with the screen a lot as well both the laptop and the charger worked fine up until this. Things i have done: unplugged battery and cmos to try to reset any settings used only wall power to turn on used a 35 watt c charger by itself and with the normal charger with and without battery plugged in left the charger brick unplugged to try and reset that if thats how that works for a bit may need to be longer though unplugged ac cord and replugged it in nothing has worked and the laptop is lifeless with battery or ac why i think it broke: charger could just not work anymore battery is broken as it was at 100 when turned off after the reset of windows maybe a driver although that would seem pretty dumb but there was a acer program that would pop up when the button was held to give power option So if it cant be figured out why it doesn't work then can the laptop work just plugged in or does it need the battery in even if it doesn't work. idk bob kinda weird tho

Hi, i updated to win 11 few days ago and im not able to open Windows security settings, cant change any options in win defender. I tried different methods but nothing works, even reinstalling the system. When i open windows security, thats the only thing i can see, after like 30 seconds it is just closing. Tried repairing, reinstalling win security from apps and in powershell. Scanned win files, reinstalled windows, checked any updates and installed them but nothing seems to work.

My specs: Intel i9-11900k 16gb 3600mh Corsair ram and a Corsair RM850 with a RTX 3060 (x64) with Windows 11 Home, Keychron V1 and a G502 Hero Recently I have realised that my "z" key is not working as it should be, on my browsers and my start menu etc. When I would press the "z" key, it would not work. I followed up by using a key testing website but weirdly it is working on any key testing website. I even used the Key testing software that came with my new keyboard since I even bought a new keyboard in hopes of it working. I have made a new account in Windows and it does work in there.

I've installed HEVC Video Extension from MS Store. But It's not working for some reason. I tried to reset, also reinstall it. So anyone have any idea why?. I recorded H.265 format videos on obs for better quality. But it's shows media offline on Resolve 18(free version). I search on YouTube about that, they says you've to install HEVC Video Extension for playing those h.265 videos. Windows Media Player also not playing h.265 either. So need some help for that. My spec: CPU- 5600x, GPU- gtx1660, Ram- 32gb, MB- B550 Aorus Pro v2

Can't overclock, tried alot of things, Nothing seems to get it to work. Using an AMD Radeon HD 8790m with a i7-4800MQ. Any fixes or is it just completely locked forever? I couldn't even get it to undervolt! (Note, I'm using Dells GPU drivers because the official drivers bluescreen.) It seems important that you the reader should know that im using the adrenalin drivers.

Every time I start my pc for the first time of the day, my mic will randomly stop picking up sound. I found I can get it to work by plugging out the usb and plugging it back in. I also have a dongle for the headset where I can enable "7.1". Clicking that also makes my mic work. But both of theese are temporary, about 5-10 min until it mic stops working again. What works is to restart the pc using the reset switch on the front panel, or restarting within windows, this makes my mic work for the rest of the day. * Have tried another headset, same as I use (hyperx Cloud II) that works on another pc, yet I still get the issue, my headset worked flawlessly on the other pc. * Did a SFC scan that found corrupted files, this fixed the "levels" tab in sound control panel for the mic which was stuck at zero, now I can change the slider but no effect on my issue. * Uninstalled and reinstalled a bunch of drivers (usb, sound, hyperx), nothing seems to work. Seems to be happening while in game only, but then again I havent really been in discord outside of gaming to notice mic issues. Specs Windows 10 Pro 64 z690 Aorus Elite DDR4 (Current BIOS version F21. F23 is latest) Intel i5-13600k (stock) 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance RAM (3600 MHz XMP) RTX 3090 TI FE (stock) 2 x Kingston NV1 1TB (One of which is boot drive) Crucial MX 500 1TB Storage Random Intel SSD 250GB storage (Dont know exact name) Corsair RM850X (2021) (850W 80+ gold) Its been a while since I started getting this issue, have tried a lot of things and its driving me insane. Open to any and all suggestions, will go through all of them even if I already have tried in case I missed something.

I'm having trouble with my HP Envy x360 (es-1000ny) laptop. Whenever I close the lid, the screen won't turn back on. Sometimes the screen flickers or shows strange bars, which makes it impossible to access the BIOS. I have to shut down the laptop and close the lid before restarting it. This process can take multiple attempts. I've already tried reinstalling Windows, updating drivers, and changing power and battery settings, but the issue persists. Interestingly, I didn't have this problem when using Linux.

Hey everyone! I’m back with another problem! I know I’ve been problematic at birth. But this time things are pretty bad. My old ssd houses some important files and I noticed it crash on me during my pc case swap. After two nights of trouble shooting I finally found that the pins on the inside of the ssd are broken. More specifically a single pin of them all is snapped in two somehow. Like literally it’s like a bridge that collapsed. The data on it is very important and I’m thinking of trying soldering to fix that. I’ve no experience but I can do my best to get around. I’ll do anything for the files they’re very important. Is soldering the best way to fix this or are there other ways? I’m open to all ideas, options, and thoughts!!! Thanks for all the help everyone!

Hi guys So I'm using some cheap bluetooth earbuds since my normal ones broke, but whenever I try to listen to some music and play a game at the same time I get no sound at all. The earbuds work perfectly fine on my phone, and if I have a single sound output on Windows, but no more. The headphones also show up under two different names in the sound settings on the taskbar; one says Headphones (BLU-BUD Stereo) and the other one is (Headphones Bluetooth BLUBUD AG Hands free Audio). The first one gives good sound quality but only on one tab and the latter gives the worst sounds I've ever heard in my life but does work with 2 applications at the same time. Does anyone know how to fix this? Couldn't find anything online. Thanks in advance

Hi There, I assembled my PC yesterday plugged in and got into the BIOS did some settings change everything was detecting and working fine. Everything off and back on and my GPU doesn't seem to fire up. The fan tries to spin but then stops without making any rotations. I tried the same GPU in my older PC and it works fine there. Feels like it is the PSU I'm not able to figure out the problem. Hi, a few days ago my keyboard stopped working for windows apps. For example I can't type in the search bar nor in the search bar in file explorer. It works perfectly fine outside of the windows apps, for example right now I'm using it. It also works fine when I have to log in. I already tried resetting the OS, doing a fresh install, running the sfc scannow and a few other that I can't remember right now. It's not very important, just really unpractical and annoying.
