After a CMOS reset by plugging out the battery I've been experiencing black screen (no signal). Below are the steps that I have done 1. Plug out all cord (power, usb, etc.) 2. remove ram and gpu 3. remove CMOS batterry and jump JB10 using a screwdriver 4. Press power button for 30 second to remove any power in the mobo 5. Wait 5 Minute before reinstalling the CMOS battery 6. Install gpu and ram back (I've tried to swap ram slot) I also have read multiple forum post regarding this issue. And some might say that it reset video output from GPU to iGPU. But in my case my CPU does not come with iGPU. How do I fix this problem if it is does occur Here's my setup: Mobo: MSI B550m Pro GPU: RTX 2060 CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 Ram: KLEVV 8gbx2 Any help would be much appreciated

Ok so really needing help on this one. The school I teach computers at just ordered 5 prebuilt computers from ABS (Newegg company) so I can also teach video production this summer and next school year as the computers we had before this were from 2011. They are all the same 3600, GTX 1660 Super, 16GB Ram. The computers arrived an hour before I leave for the day so I got them upstairs to my classroom and opened one to get it setup and established on our network. I unpack everything, check for loose cables, ensure cards and sticks are all in nice and snug, and turn it on. The fans light up and spin and no display. I press the power button and the machine will not turn off. The light just blinks. so I flick the PSU switch to power everything down and check again. Everything is good. Turn it back on and still nothing. I pull another computer out to check that one and see if I just so happened to open the unlucky one. Do all the same checks and hook it up to a known good monitor and HDMI cable. No video. This one at least the power button works. I am beside myself. I am scared to open the others in case I need to send them all back. I do not have time to do RMAs as our video production camp starts June 7th. I am beside myself right now. I am calling them at 8am PST today to find out what is going on. Edit: Also when my class is over I will upload a video to show what is going on. UPDATE: Checked another one and it popped up with Windows setup and had display. I talked with ABS and they are going to be next day shipping 2 new pcs and giving me 30 days to return the current ones I have. They were awesome for customer service and told me if the others have any issue to just call and they will ship out replacements next day as well. I think they should be in the next Secret Shopper video as this was a terrible thing but hey customer service was at least good.

Hello, my pc is not giving out a video signal to my two monitors. I have had issues for a while with my pc, just before easter it took maybe 10 minutes to turn on the pc because I had to reboot it until the monitors and keyboard lit up. Now nothing happens even after rebooting many times. I have tried remounting the cpu cooler (that helped before), changing the amount of ram I use and another set of ram. When I press the power button the pc lights up and everything is spinning and looking fine but nothing more happens. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Hello, how are you?My PC was running fine and then I've noticed one of the two fans of the Noctua NH-D15 was not spinning. I've opened the case and just tried to figure out if the connector was not plugged well, but in the process, I think one of the clips just touched the back panel of my GPU (with no backplate) and the PC instantly lost the video signal.Now everytime I turn on the PC all the coolers run fine but there's no video signal, no post screen. The GPU fans spin for some seconds and then stops, but the system keeps working.Is there any chance I've damaged the GPU? I'll try to reinstall all components when I came from work, but I'm pretty sure it is all plugged well (PSU connectors), cause it was running fine before.I tried clearing the CMOS with no luck too.Thank you very much!

i have bought a amd ryzen 7 2700x cpu with a x370 gaming pro carbon mtherboard and 16gb of ram 2400mhz from corsairs vengeance edition. my gpu is a nvidea gtx 170ti. i have tried al the steps from the post that is pinned above.my screen says "no signal". i don't know what to do now because my motherboard doesn't show any debug led's. i am sorry if my english is bad i am still learning it.

Hi, Originally my GPU was connected to my monitor via VGA cable with DVI to VGA converter, but I was not getting any signal on my monitor for the past 3 days. Yesterday I was able to make it work with a HDMI cable without any trouble. I ran GPU stress tests and everything was fine but today even the HDMI connection is not sending any signal to the monitor. What should I do to make sure that the problem is with my GPU and not something else? My GPU is within warranty but RMA process can take up to 45 days over here and I cannot wait that long without making immediate alternate arrangements. Please help. Any guidance would be appreciated.

So after almost a whole month and a half, all the parts for my first build arrived yesterday. I built it, installed OS and today I started setting it up. Everything was going fine, until I downloaded and installed the first batch of Win10 updates. THE PROBLEM The PC restarted, reached the motherboard splash screen and after that nothing. "No video signal". Even the debug led on my mobo lights up for a second, indicating a GPU failure or missing. ATTEMPTED TROUBLESHOOTING * Tried restarting a few times, no difference. * I connected the screen to the mobo DVI port and no luck. I don't get anything at all from there. * Disconnected and reconnected power supply from the mains, and the 6+2pin from the GPU Needless to say I am very disappointed right now. SETUP * OS: Windows 10 Pro, 64 bit * CPU: Intel i5 6600k * Mobo: MSI KRAIT Gaming z170 * Memory: 2x8gb hyperx ddr4 @2400Mhz * GPU: EVGA GTX950 FTW * PSU: Corsair CX600M @600W * SSD: SAMSUNG evo 120gb * HDD: 2x(1TB WD Blue, 7200rpm) on RAID1 * No overclocking of any kind Every part on my computer is brand new, except for the PSU, which is a couple years old, with which I had replaced the PSU of my old 6-7 year old PC when its old PSU died. SOME FACTS During its final days, my old pc, which was otherwise pretty functional, alas old, started having the same problem: I would turn it on and "no video signal". Using the same Corsair PSU. Only difference is that it would not even show the boot screen, iirc. Since the whole rig but the Corsair PSU was old, I assumed something else crapped out, and it was a good enough reason to make me buy a new PC, after all these years, without getting into the trouble of in investigating any further; it was a pretty old PC anyway. Just to be sure, when I removed the Corsair PSU from the old PC, I took a multimeter and checked its voltages, which were fine. I just retested the voltages on the 6+2pin power of the GPU, and they give ~12V So, please give me some feedback, does this sound like a PSU problem? I tend to go with yes, but then why did the new PC operate fine up until the update? Anything else I should do in order to try and pinpoint the issue? Excuse any typos, writing from a tablet

sO HELLO every one my problem is I just bought a gpu MSI r9270x HAWK. and when I try to open launch a game the introduction etc runs fine but when I get into menu the LCD shows "no video signal" and I also tried to unplug and plug the HDMI wire. Nohing happens. then to see my display I have to turnoff my pc and then turn it on again. Please help me in this matter NOTE:- I have a simple setup intel i5-3470 intel Dh61ww mobo 12 gb ram and a 500w power supply. so i have a 20 dollar powersupply. And I have a doubt that its because of the power supply. but then again its 500w which is enough for this card. can you please help me with this matter thanks
