My part list is below. This was my first build ever after spending over a year contemplating and waiting to drop the money I finally did it. Thanks to Linus tech tips for all the knowledge I have gained from watching your videos along with countless others and this forum along with Toms. The build took only a few hours from beginning to software installation and downloading which I consider a great success as it posted right away and if anything it took longer due to my countless triple checking of things. I had a fantastic experience building in the Luxe and couldn't be happier with my purchase. I just finished overclocking today at 13% oc with a modest 4.5 oc which I feel nice and safe with after stress testing for 15 minutes max temps were 77 c pictures will be included. This build was influenced by one of my favorite films. Tron and legacy too but mostly the original as I went with white instead of black. I am new here, so I hope I am not breaking some etiquette with this post. Also I really enjoy the video content and the hosts of Linus Tech Tips... After Christmas, I will start setting aside some money to build a new PC to replace my 2011 one. (i5 2500, 16GB DDR3, CoolerMaster HAF X, MSI P67A-G45 B3) I have chosen to buy the White Phanteks Enthoo Luxe case (it is sitting in the garage until I have the money to buy components) and I've been thinking about how I may be handling the Airflow. I am considering using an AIO Cooler for the CPU for the first time, possibly the Cooler Master Nepton 240M, or the Corsair H105. Anyway... I only want to buy the amount of fans I need, and I am on a budget. The cooler would include two fans with the radiator, and the case comes with a 200mm Fan at the front, and two 140mm fans for rear and top. I've watched enough of Linus to know that Noctua is a great choice for fans, so I am thinking of buying 2x Noctua NF-P14s fans for possible Front Intake. I have 3 setups that seem to make sense to me. Can anyone with more experience offer any advice. I wont be able to remove the two HDD cages, as I will need them for my machine, I know this will impede things.

any suggestions on fan placement for the phantexs enthoo luxe? i will be building my pc this weekend (just waiting for shipments to arrive) currently i was thinking 2 140's on top exhausting through my rad, 2 140 intakes on the front, 1 140 exhaust on rear. would it be better if i added 1 or 2 fans on the bottom as a intake? im looking for slightly positive pressure. here is the link to my pc build to help with determination. https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/XRxPM8

Hey everybody, have a question for Enthoo Luxe owners. I'm planning on buying the case soon but I use a lot of razer products. I'd like to use the green led setting but how does the colour compare to standard Razer green? Thanks guys appreciate any input. Bonus question: how does the green compare to Corsair sp120 green fans? Again thanks

Hey guys, I am going to be ordering parts soon, so I am trying to figure out how to get my fans setup and which fans would be best for my situation. I am going to most likely be getting the Phanteks Luxe. Here's a look at the Luxe just in case. ------------------------------------------------- Might not be the best picture, but as you can see that the hdd cages are behind the panel that starts at the dotted lines. I will be using a 280mm cooler that I'll probably be mounting at the top. I may also be getting a 980 Ti Hybrid (Possibly 2, not sure yet). So I'm still trying to figure out where I'd mount them, maybe one at top with the cpu rad and one at the back. (I know this isn't the liquid cooling section, sorry just kinda talking out loud at the same time) Back to the air cooling though..included is a 200mm front fan. Though is it better to have two 140s instead of a 200? I also believe I can mount 2 120s on the HDD cages (If I kept them in, not sure about that either!) Along with fans on the bottom (I think 2 120s or 140s, not sure). So main question....is it better to have 140s instead of a 200? How should I setup my fans? And which fans would be best for this case? Of course I'd like the best airflow to get the best temps. Sound isn't a main concern, but of course quieter is better as long as it doesn't hurt temps that much. I currently have 5 Corsair AF Fans and my 670 running at high fan speeds when gaming, so I'm semi-used to it, but like I said quieter could be good too. Anything is appeciated, sorry if this was long! **( I will also most likely be using 2 HDD's and 2 SSD's as of now.)

Hey Guys, I am currently planning a build and I am wondering if anyone has a SketchUp model of the Phanteks Enthoo Luxe/Pro. I am possibly doing a custom loop and it would be nice to be able to make a 3D model of the build. I have been searching everywhere for a model but I have had no luck. Thanks in advance, Phillip P.S. Sorry if this should be in another thread!

I'm getting a Phanteks Enthoo Luxe soon, and I would like to fill out all of the fan space in it, excluding the bottom fan space. Any tips on what orientation, brand and type of fan I should put in each location. I know it's overkill, pointless and will lead to unnecessary noise but I just want to keep everything really cool. Thanks
-
I know this topic has been previously covered, but since I will be getting one of the two soon, I can't decide which one to go for. I'm leaning towards the luxe but the price of the pro keeps luring me away. It isn't helped by the fact that I'm really indecisive, just need some others opinions. Thanks

Hi all, I had a question about the fan configuration for my first PC build. This is an extreme 1440p gaming build that I have been planning for almost a year and so I'm pretty excited. Also, I live in Australia, hence the more expensive prices on most components. This is the build I have planned: PCPartPicker part list: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/7FNwBm CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor ($519.00 @ PCCaseGear) CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 82.5 CFM CPU Cooler ($129.00 @ PCCaseGear) Motherboard: Asus Z170-DELUXE ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($499.00 @ PCCaseGear) Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($179.00 @ PCCaseGear) Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($145.00 @ PCCaseGear) Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB HYBRID Video Card (2-Way SLI) ($1249.00 @ PCCaseGear) Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB HYBRID Video Card (2-Way SLI) ($1249.00 @ PCCaseGear) Case: Phanteks Enthoo Luxe ATX Full Tower Case ($209.00 @ PCCaseGear) Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 1300 G2 1300W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($349.00 @ PCCaseGear) Optical Drive: LG BH16NS40 Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer ($89.00 @ PCCaseGear) Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM (64-bit) ($149.00) Case Fan: Noctua NF-A14 industrialPPC-2000 PWM 107.4 CFM 140mm Fan ($39.00) Case Fan: Noctua NF-A14 industrialPPC-2000 PWM 107.4 CFM 140mm Fan ($39.00) Case Fan: Noctua NF-A14 industrialPPC-2000 PWM 107.4 CFM 140mm Fan ($39.00) Case Fan: Noctua NF-A14 industrialPPC-2000 PWM 107.4 CFM 140mm Fan ($39.00) Case Fan: Noctua NF-F12 industrialPPC-2000 PWM 71.7 CFM 120mm Fan ($35.00) Case Fan: Noctua NF-F12 industrialPPC-2000 PWM 71.7 CFM 120mm Fan ($35.00) Case Fan: Noctua NF-F12 industrialPPC-2000 PWM 71.7 CFM 120mm Fan ($35.00) Case Fan: Noctua NF-F12 industrialPPC-2000 PWM 71.7 CFM 120mm Fan ($35.00) Monitor: Acer XB270HU bprz 144Hz 27.0" Monitor ($1049.00) Other: Phanteks Multi Coloured led strip (2m) ($25.00) Other: CableMod E-Series G2 & P2 Cable Kit White ($115.00) Total: $6284.00 AUD. I had a few quick questions about what fans to choose for each position: 1. What are the best fans for intake and what are the best for exhaust? (airflow vs static pressure)? Based on a video by JayzTwoCents (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXAFYNE7Cl0), I'm thinking of having airflow optimised fans on exhaust and static pressure optimised for intake and on radiators. 2. Are the Noctua NF-A14 airflow optimised (flow acceleration as they call it)? 3. And are the Noctua NF-F12 static pressure optimised (focused flow as they call it)? I am planning on going for balanced or slightly positive net air pressure in the case and the following are potential configurations I'm thinking about: A.) Top: Three 140mm fans in exhaust Bottom: Two 120mm fans for intake Front: Two 120mm fans on the 980 Ti Hybrid radiators for intake Rear: One 140mm fan for exhaust B.) Top: Three 140mm fans for intake Bottom: Two 120mm fans for exhaust Front: Two 120mm fans on the 980 Ti Hybrid radiators in exhaust Rear: One 140mm fan for intake C.) Top: Two 120mm fans on the 980 Ti Hybrid radiators in exhaust. This might be hard/ impossible as I have a massive Noctua NH-D15 cooler in the way. Does anyone know if this can be done? Bottom: Two 120mm fans for intake. Front: Two 140mm fans for intake. Rear: One 140mm fan for exhaust. Could you guys provide feedback on these configurations and which one you think is better/ the best. If there are any other configurations that you can think of, I would love to hear about them. I apologise for the long post and appreciate your responses EDIT: Is there any reason not to have the fans on the GPU radiators as intake?

Hi everyone, I've decided to embark on my first build (well, more like a couple of big upgrades really) and I've got a few questions. So just so you guys know, I already have a pre-built gaming PC from iBuyPower (that I bought before I started learning about pc's) that has a 6 core AMD Fx6300, 8 gigs of generic RAM, a 1Tb WD Blue hard drive, a generic unlabeled, nonmodular PSU (that had to go because those cables drove me nuts), a gigabyte motherboard (not sure of the model) and an MSi graphics card that says its from the Radeon R7 200 series but nothing else so i'm not exactly sure what it is. So I got a new case, a Phanteks Enthoo Luxe in white (which I love), and a new motherboard, an MSi 970 SLI Krait edition to fit the white build. I also grabbed a 650w EVGA Supernova GS power supply (which is finally modular so I can deal with cables). I plan to swap in my processer and fit it with a new cooler from enermax (forgot the exact model), pop in the same RAM dimms, graphics card and hard drive. First question is about my hard drive. It may just be my nerves but I cant find anything definite and absolute that if I put my harddrive into this build that the data from my old build will be uncorrupted and as it was before. I would love to not have to get a second drive and do a clone if I can avoid it. Also, just in case anyone has had dealings with an Enthoo Luxe Case before, I got the LED lighting strip that connects to the front panel color switcher (super cool by the way) and the double sided tape was...well terrible. So I ripped that off and tried some double sided mounting tape and that really didn't work either. I was actually thinking I could DIY it and recycle some old thin, refrigerator magnets by cutting them into small strips and gluing them to the back of the light strip so that I can still remove the strip from the bottom and remove the power supply shroud should I need to get to it. But then again, back to the hard drive, I worry about magnets and having them so close to my drive. anyway, sorry for the wordy post. If anyone can help me out that would be really great.

The Enthoo Luxe Case Manual says to connect the 4pin PWM Hub (on the back of the case) to the CPU_FAN Header on the motherboard. However, when I do that I then have to plug my H110i GT 3pin connector into one of the 4pin CHA_FAN connections on the motherboard. With this set of connections, booting leads to a CPU Fan error screen. However, if I leave the H110i GT 3pin connector plugged into the 4pin CPU_FAN header on the motherboard, and try to plug in the 4pin PWM Hub into a CHA_FAN connection on the motherboard, then my system boots fine, BUT the LEDS, and Power button (that run off that PWM Hub) no longer work. I have the 12V Sata from the PWM plugged in to my PSU as well. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong. Please let me know if I can provide more details. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Good evening everyone, I want to make a new computer for the wife, trying to go with a white/blue/black color scheme and she wants a white case, I was thinking on getting her an Enthoo Luxe white to go with my black one but she doesn't like it (too plain she says). Any good recommendations for full tower? Thanks in advance everyone!

I recently got a new phanteks enthoo luxe, and it works fine. However, on some of the lighting profiles, like the yellow, 3 of the Leds are a different colour or just off. Is this a common issue? If so will it fix itself or is there a solution?

Hey guys, like the title says, I just want some opionions into which case I should get, Phanteks Enthoo Luxe or Cooler Master MasterCase Pro 5, I like both but the Enthoo has LEDs which would look nice on what I'm trying to build, anyways, if you guys could give me some opinions, pros and cons, etc., I would appreciate it. Have a good one!

I'm building a new PC soon and I was just wondering what you guys think is the better case of these two. They both seem like amazing cases, and although I'm leaning more towards the Luxe, I'd like to hear other people's opinions on this. Components for my upcoming build if you need to know: Intel Core i5 6600K Asus Z170-P D3 CM Hyper 212 EVO Gigabyte GTX 750 Ti Black Edition WD Black 1TB HDD 7200RPM Samsung 850 EVO 120GB G.Skill Sniper 8GB 1600MHz Corsair CX430M

I've decided on buying the Phanteks Enthoo Luxe case for my upcoming PC build, but the one thing I don't know about it is if the included fans are quiet. I hope to add some of my own aswell, but I'm having trouble deciding between the Arctic F12 TC, Zalman ZM-F4 and Corsair AF120. In short: Are the stock Phanteks Enthoo Luxe fans good, and should I get 2 of the Arctic F12 TC, Zalman ZM-F4 or Corsair AF120 as extra fans for my rig?
-
Hello! I am planning buying the Enthoo Luxe case. But, I'm wondering about 1 thing. I am not sure if all the led cables are included. In reviews I've seen there are 2 different led strips, 1 at the topside, the other one around the big glass. Are they both included, or do you need to buy them separately? And are they prebuilt or do you need to put the cables where you want them to be. Sorry for my poor english.

So i got a new side panel from Phanteks because the one that came with my Enthoo Luxe was scratched .... and the replacement came scratched, sigh. Seriously Phanteks? Anyone got any news on better side panel windows because everything else on this case is awesome! Might be putting glass, yes real glass in the new side panel. Anyways, thanks for reading my little rant , Oh and if anyone wants pictures just ask and ill put them up, might need a little help though . Update: Here's a picture of it

So I'm getting 2 Corsair SP120s to replace the stock fans on my H100i Which ones should I choose for the best ceiling rad exhaust fan? (I plan to connect them to an NZXT touchscreen fan controller & MSI Z97-G45 mobo for software temps too if possible) AF120 Performance AF120 Quiet SP120 PWM Performance SP120 PWM Quiet SP120 Performance SP120 Quiet Here's the Amazon link for the specs of each choice: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00C249QNE (Also: Does PWM matter?) My fan knowledge is still a bit limited so any help is greatly appreciated. Edit: All fans for Enthoo Luxe build: -2 front intakes (Noctua NF-S12A x2) -2 rad ceiling exhausts (Corsair SP120 x2) -1 front low rpm ceiling exhaust (Luxe Stock 140 x1) moved forward to make room for the H100i Rad -1 rear exhaust (Luxe Stock 140 x1) I realise that seems like a lot of negative pressure, but I'll be keeping the extra front ceiling fan at the lowest rpm if I do end up keeping it up there. May even test it out on the bottom behind the HDD cage as a low rpm intake. So 2/2.5 intakes 3/3.5 exhausts.

Can someone help explain everything about the fan headers? Ive read things that clash with eachother about the controllers, like "Oh dont plug it into the alternate cpu header, or it will only take these numbers of fans before it "Blows up". I need halp

Hello, This is my first post on the forum (yay me). I have been lurking for a few days and thought that maybe some of y'all could give me some helpful suggestions. I am currently using a Cooler Master Elite 430 (got the cheapest/decent looking case I could get) and am looking to upgrade it. I was thinking a Corsair 750D, NZXT Source 530 (friend of mine got this case and it is just a really nice case for the price) or the Phanteks Enthoo Pro/Luxe (saw Linus's review and he was raving about the Pro). The reason I want to upgrade the case is that : 1) Would like to add a Corsair H100i (or an equivalent cooler) 2) Room to actually move around when I am adding/changing components 3) Looks. So currently I am leaning towards the 750D because it looks classy, has plenty of room for fans, cpu cooler, small custom loop, SSD mounting tray on the back, cable management. The thing I have been hearing about the 750D is that it doesn't have enough ventilation in the front where you would install the intake fans, does anyone know of this actually being a problem or more nitpicking? Would love to hear what y'all think and would be open to other suggestions (mainly Full Towers). My components are an i5-2500k (stock), AMD Radeon HD 6950 (looking to upgrade once the 300 series from Radeon comes around) Cooler Master V6 GT, 16GB Corsair Vengeance LP RAM and 2 120GB SSDs, Corsair TX850 (overkill, planned on going for 2x 6950s).

Just wanted to find some way to acquire the Bitfenix Icon LCD screen that comes with this case http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gh1i4D541Uw I wanted to mod an ssd mount inside the small windows inside the Enthoo Luxe, but seeing how that LCD only needs a free non-proprietary program, and only uses a USB header, sounds like it would work with anything! (I would cover the ugly part of the screen housing with a sheet of metal/plastic in the small window to the right) Seeing as Slick's version of the Icon was broken and he got a replacement, is there any way I can fake this request (paying $$$ ofc) to get one?

Hi I heard somewhere that the double ssd bracket from the Primo fits in the Enthoo Luxe, and this makes sense to me seeing as it only has 3mm less cable management clearance than the Primo I was wondering if this was also applicable to the Enthoo Pro (as the clearance is the same as the Luxe), but I don't know the dimensions of the bracket or the size of the bulge on the case where the ssd mounts are Can someone who owns both a Pro and a Primo or has a double ssd bracket reply? Cheers Just because I have 4 ssds which I run in two RAID 0 arrays, one for my OS, one for my most-played games (yeah screw redundancy), and another 3.5" HDD Which if this works I can remove both hard-drive cages and ghetto mount the HDD somewhere, probably behind the 5.25" cage, in preparation for future watercooling muhahaha evil plans Also, any EK workers here want to leak some information as to whether a full cover block is coming out for the G1 Gaming GTX 970? hint hint nudge nudge Thanks peeps Q.
