Hi guys, would you please help me setting my bios up correct so i get the effect i should be getting? SPECS: Chassi: Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X Galaxy Mobo: MAG B760 TOMAHAWK WIFI CPU: Intel Core i9-13900K RAM: Corsair 32gb DDR5 5600mhz GPU: Palit Geforce 3090ti PSU:Corsair RM1000e ATX 3.0 1000W HD: 1TB Seagate m2 7600mbit/s Cooling: 2 - 140mm Intake in front, 3 - 120mm Exhuast on top thru the radiator, 1 - 120mm Exhuast back, Cooler: Corsair iCUE H150i Elite Capellix XT 360 on top I have also tried to have the radiator on the intake but saw no difference. Best score running a multicore test: Bios stock: 36226 Max temp 100C. Bios XMP ON, P1,P2 at 253W: 35668, with a maxtemp of 103C, please tell me if i missed something!

Hello All, I am wondering what I am doing wrong to get low cinebench23 scores, bad luck with the CPU hardware lottery, or some mistakes I did in assembly? I have chosen the best hardware for performance I think and my scores are not coming close to even the lowest scores at default for others. 21755 default bios optimized settings RAM 2120Mhz, 69C CPU, 3.67GHz CPU after the test finished. temps quickly dropped 21688 default bios optimized settings + XMP RAM XMP 3600Mhz, 70C CPU, 3.65GHz CPU 22910 with PBO advanced, motherboard limit,+XMP RAM XMP 3600Mhz, 90C CPU, 3.95Ghz CPU screenshot of Hwinfo temps and freq with score screenshot of Hwinfo quick temp drop after test finished 22836 with PBO on default RAM 3900Mhz, 86C CPU, 3.89Ghz CPU The ambient temperature is 30c but I don't think any thermal throttling is happening, PBO overclock is hitting 90c with the arctic liquid freezer 2-420mm AIO but performance hasnt increased a lot, I think the temperatures should have been lower than this or should not be hitting the high temps so quickly. (the AIO is mounted in offset mode) I will be requesting Arctic for correct size screws and the new rev4 mounting brackets but still the default setting CPU performance score should have been better. I could also look at removing and re-attaching the cooler on the CPU and change to arctic MX5 or Thermal Grizzly options Requesting guidance on why even my default CPU performance is so low and what I can try to get a comparable normal score like others. should my graphics card choice be making a difference in cinebench score as it is quite weak and not really a gaming card? I have a 2700X and the sinle core score is around 100, but the multicore score is between 900 and 1,000. I looked at 10 websites that show the average score for a 2700x, and they all show a multicore score over 10,000-11,000 That means my score is TEN times ower than the average 2700x on Cinebench. What can I do/. What am I doing wrong? I have 16 GB of, 3200MHZ ram but in the BIOS if I go higher than 2993 MHZ it causes random reboots or crashes within windows, Motherboard is a Gigabyte X470 Aurus ultra Gaming please help

Hello, it seems like my 5900x is getting the same single core performance score as a 3900x in Cinebench R23. The expected score should be around ~1550±50. I have no clue why that could be, tried playing around with Windows Power Plan and made sure no other program is running in the background. The temps seem okay too the CPU is staying around 44-46 °C. My system: CPU: 5900x@Stock settings. 4200 Mhz during benchmark. Motherboard: Asus x570 TUF Gaming plus wifi Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 Memory: Crucial Ballistix 32 GB 3600 Mhz - cl16. Fclk 1800 mhz. Hello everyone! Hope you're staying safe throughout this quarantine. I've been gaming a lot lately and have noticed a huge decrease in performance with my almost 5 year-old i5 6600. It's paired with a GTX 1070 and 16 GB of 2133 MHz DDR4 RAM on a MSI B150 Gaming M3 motherboard and I'm playing in 1080p on a 144 Hz monitor. Basically, my CPU is bottlenecking the GPU quite hard, to the point where games like Fortnite or R6S, no matter on what settings, the CPU usage is 100% while my GPU is chilling in about the 70-80 percents and even my discord stops working (it's stuttering and sometimes I can't hear anything from it, same thing for the people I'm talking to, I'm stuttering hard for them). Temperatures seem somewhat normal, my GPU reaches 80 degrees in full load while Folding@home and my CPU reaches about 75 degrees in full load in these games. Therefore, I decided to run Cinebench R20 and I'm very dissatisfied with the score, because when I looked up this CPU I found out that it should score around 1400. I should also mention that this problem started occurring some time after February of 2020, when, one morning, my PC just wouldn't boot up, the fans would briefly spin and then nothing. I had a friend come over with his PSU, connected it to my components, it booted just fine, then I switched back my PSU and it also booted. My PSU is an Inter-Tech Energon 650W, which I've read bad things about, but I'm not sure if it's actually the problem or not. Also, I've had some problems with my motherboard in the past, where it would underclock my CPU to 0.8 GHz and lock it there. To fix this I had to disable Intel Adaptive Thermal Monitor under CPU Features in my BIOS. With this many background issues, I can't figure out what could the problem of my low performance be. Has anyone experienced something similar or any other ideas about what the issue is? Sorry for the long post, thank you if you managed to read through it all or even just for checking out the thread! Hey there guys. Today i tried the AIDA64 Memory test and i think the numbers that i'm getting are little bit on the low side. My PC has: Asus X99 Deluxe I7 5820K 4.2 Ghz 4.0Ghz cache 32GB 4x8 Mushkin RedLine 3200Mhz DDR4 16 18 18 36 1.35V RX 580 Sapphire Nitro+ Limited Edition FSP 750W 80+ Silver Adata SX6000NP NVMe. Samsung 850Evo SATA III Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200Rpm 64mb cache HDD . I'm running X.M.P. Profile so my memory is running at it's rated 3200Mhz speed and in AIDA64 i'm only getting aroud 62 000mb read and write speeds. Is this normal? I've seen some pictures of Qaud Channel DDR3 that are gettinh higher numbers than mine. Also i tried manually adjusting my memory speeds to 3200 with latency of 15 17 17 35 which was stable throughout the test and results were pretty much 1:1 .

Hi All, I'm getting some very sub par scores on Firestrike Extreme. To give you all speculation of my system, I'm running an i7-6700k (overclocked to 4.6 GHz with Kraken X61), Gigabyte G1 Gaming 980 ti (GPU clock = 1317/1406, Memory clock = 7160, Power Target 125%), with 16 Gb of RAM on the ASUS Z170 Sabertooth Mark 1. On Firestrike Extreme I'm getting scores around 4200, which when I compare online, it stacks below the minimum VR specs (i5-4690 and gtx 970) and the gaming laptop specs. Due to the specs of my computer, I have no clue why my scores are consistently so low. The details sheet shows that my GPU is at 100% load but it never goes over 38C, which I'm hypothesizing has something to do with it, no aftermarket cooler is THAT good. HI! I recently built my very first PC because consoles just weren't cutting it for me. GLORIOUS PC GAMING MASTER RACE!. Anyways, the experience has been great so far.....except one problem. I brought a MSI Radeon R9 290X (TWIN FROZR edition) graphics card, which is, as you know, a very high end card. However, the fps I'm getting in my games is just not as high as they should be with this card. For example, this card should be able to run Far Cry 3 fully maxed out at above 1080p and still get 60 fps but i can barely get a stable 30 fps that dips to 25 fps quite often at medium with some settings set to high. Same with Borderlands 2. This card should be able to run Borderlands 2 fully maxed out at well above 60 fps and at higher resolutions than 1080p but my frame rate is around 40-50 fps for the most part. Batman arkham origins has a similar problem where i get around 40-45 fps maxed out but its much worse here because in heavy situations the game dips down to below 10 fps. I thought this was kinda weird so i decided to open the task manager and found out that when i run batman, the GPU usage is around 95-100%. Is this normal? I also decided to benchmark my GPU and, just as i thought, the score that i got in cinebench was wayyy lower than other people got online. My scores are as follows = Cinebench 11.5 = openGL test = 62.21 fps Cinebench R15 = openGL test = 75.90 fps Those scores are lower than what i have seen for this card in reviews and comparisons online. I think the problem is my CPU (PC SPECS LISTED AT THE BOTTOM) which may be causing a bottleneck but in games my CPU usage is not 100% and i wouldn't be getting low GPU-only benchmark results like in cinebench. If someone could please help me out and explain to me what the problem could be, that would be really appreciated . Also if you have this graphics card or any r9 290x card in general, can you tell me the results you get? Thanks.
