So im not sure how many of you noticed this but if you already owned the game batman arkham knight then you should have a patch that adds a whole slew of graphics option like show in the picture below. However they still do not have an option to switch screens but i'm not that salty about that. On my GTX 780 i was getting about 52 fps on average when running the ingame benchmark but in actuality i'm getting a solid 60. Fps is also no longer capped at 30, but you now have options for 30/60/90 not perfect but much better. The absolute best part is that you can turn off the horrendous film grain effect that they put in.

So I was wondering what you guys think the game will be like, do you think it will be good? Who is already planning on buying it or pre ordering it? I know I am going to pre order the game, I have loved all the past Arkham games. I think they could make a really good S piderman game if they wanted to. I really want to see a game with The Flash in it though.

Rocksteady are actively looking into fixing other bugs to improve this further Correct an issue that was causing Steam to re-download the game when verifying the integrity of the game cache through the Steam client Fix a bug that caused the game to crash when turning off Motion Blur in BmSystemSettings.ini. A future patch will enable this in the graphics settings menu Rocksteady's announcement concluded by thanking fans for their patience and feedback. Hello Everyone! I recently found an old Knight KN 928 Tube Amplifier while looking through my dad's old stuff. It works, but crackles and is very dirty. I'd like to clean it internally and externally, but I don't want to damage it or the tubes. Is there any special way I should do this? Any tips on cleaning, operation, or price would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

So I've got a spare Arkham Knight code that I got from the Nvidia promotion that I'm not looking to keep, (surprise huh.) My question to the good fellows of Linus Tech Tips is where do you guys prefer to flip your codes? I know I can't expect too much for Arkham Knight as the game released broken but I'd rather make some type of profit from it rather than just let the code go to waste. So sound off guys, where do you sell your unwanted codes?

Major spoilers and a hefty rant within. Rocksteady, you done cocked up. I absolutely adore the Arkham series, but the story in particular of Arkham Knight was just an indescribable let-down. I originally had a huge explanation prefacing this rant, but I'll just get straight to it. Spoilers and rage from here on out, you were warned; One, they made the story about the Joker. AGAIN. I like the Joker as a villain, I do, and I know he's supposed to be Batman's greatest nemesis, his antithesis, representing the dichotomy between order and chaos, blah blah blah, but for christ's sake let's have some variety. Every Arkham game has had the Joker as the main villain somehow, and yet despite him being dead, he still manages to be the villain yet again in Knight. Batman has a HUGE rogues gallery to be drawn from, and such massive potential for interesting and diverse stories surrounding them, so why the focus on just Joker? Every game except Asylum suffers from what I shall refer to as "Rocksteady syndrome", which is when a villain is hyped up as the main antagonist in trailers and promotional material, yet in-game is reduced to being almost a side-character in favour of somebody else that the developers can't let go of; City: Hugo Strange knowing Batman's greatest secret and thus having an incredible advantage over him, with the ability to literally ruin him whenever Strange should so choose? That's great but Joker got poisoned by plot devices so he's still more important somehow Origins: Deathstroke, easily the singular toughest, most experienced, and skilful hand-to-hand combatant Batman has fought in any of the games? Nope, you get a 10-minute boss fight and that's yer lot, mate. Knight: I had such high hopes for Scarecrow being an interesting villain in this game, having turned from the rambling, restless nutcase he was in Asylum to the cold, methodical, and frankly dangerous man he is in Knight. Working alongside the mysterious Arkham Knight, he has access to an utterly unprecedented knowledge of both Batmans' and his allies' weaknesses, and is able to manipulate him with his unique brand of potent psychological attacks. Except you hardly see the guy! He is reduced to being just a disembodied voice on the radio that offers the occasional taunt, sidelined predictably in favour of the Joker, the presence of whom is so forced and in-your-face he literally follows you around for the entire game, still "alive" in Batman's mind somehow, to the point where even the ending is relegated to an entire "Batman conquering mind-Joker" sequence while Scarecrow just watches, which brings me neatly on to my next gripe; Two, several people including Batman are "becoming Joker" Just take a second to appreciate the fact that the guy who wrote the script for Knight took the time to write and submit "and then the people who received a transfusion of Joker's toxic blood and somehow didn't die despite never receiving the cure are now turning into new Jokers and also Batman is too because of plot devices". And then take another second to appreciate that other people thought it was a good enough idea to be incorporated into the plot. Having the Joker stay "alive" in Batman's mind was pushing it already even as far as comic book universe plots go, but this was just flat-out ridiculous. Three, Oracle dies but not really This was easily the best, most stand-out moment in the plot. Scarecrow, having used the Knight's knowledge to capture Oracle, expertly manipulates Batman and coaxes him into an ultimately fruitless chase that culminates in him being forced to watch Oracle commit suicide under the influence of Scarecrow's fear toxin. And the repercussions are enormous. Batman has just lost one of his few trusted and cherished "family" members, and his best intel source. Not only this, but her capture and subsequent death causes the Dark Knight to lose the trust of Commissioner Gordon, Robin, and even Alfred to a minimal extent. It shows that Scarecrow means serious business, and shows it in a way that efficiently divides Batman from his allies and takes away his biggest source of information. I was genuinely shocked at this development, and was impressed at how far Scarecrow was willing to go to break Batman. But of course, as we approach the end of the plot, the scriptwriters wimp out as it is revealed that Oracle is alive and well, and her death was merely a hallucination due to Scarecrow's fear gas, etc etc, which means all the impact her death had is repaired in an instant. Sure Scarecrow then proceeds to push her straight off a building, but naturally Batman saves her in the nick of time and tops it off by calling in his convenient spare Batmobile/Deus Ex Machina. Four, the Arkham Knight is just Jason goddamn Todd. The biggest cop-out of the entire game, the true identity of the Arkham Knight being nothing more than a carbon copy of Under The Red Hood. Given the promotional material describing the Knight as knowing Batman's every secret, I surmised, probably similarly to a lot of others, that he could only be a character who had previously been close to Batman but now had reason to hold a grudge, such as Jason Todd. Yet that same material also claimed that the Knight was an original villain, so it couldn't be him. Then throughout the game, so many references popped up to Jason, even with a trio of flashbacks/hallucinations depicting how Joker tortures and kills him, that I was convinced they were hyping it up to NOT be Jason, it simply couldn't be him considering how much they shoved him in your face. Then when he did finally reveal himself I had to stop and do a double-take because I didn't quite believe that they had tried to pass off something so painfully obvious as a "twist". Five, not really plot-related, but the use of some villains feels like a waste. This is Rocksteady's final game in the Arkham series, their swansong, their grand finale, it even ends up being Bruce Wayne's final night as Batman before retiring, and yet entire side missions are dedicated to small-timers like Firefly, Deacon Blackfire and Professor Pyg (who???). Also when Jason flees the scene, Deathstroke takes over the remainder of the militia and challenges Batman to a final, one-on-one, go-out-with-a-bang clash of titans before he gives up the cowl for good, yet is knocked out with a single punch in a cutscene and that's it. Weak, Rocksteady. Ordinarily I would never have penned such a rant, but considering how much I was looking forward to this game, and how deeply disappointed I was, I really wanted to get it off my chest. And the worst part? The game is fucking fantastic. Combat and stealth is the best it's ever been, and the Batmobile is a well-implemented, nice change of pace. Such a godawful story with so much wasted potential really has no place in what is in my opinion otherwise a masterpiece of a game. Thoughts?

What is the RAM clearance on this CPU Cooler? Like for example, on a Z87N-Wifi would it interfere with the RAM slots at all, or would I be able to use only low-profile RAM. What kind of overclock can I expect on a 4670k?
