I would like to see reviews of fitbits and iwatches and various warables... I don't know how much interest there is, or if it's in your wheelhouse...

I am thinking about buying a smartwatch that is compatible with my Iphone 6. The apple watch s appealing, but the price is very iffy. Any more suggestions? Or should I stick with the Apple Watch?

The Verge NYT CNET This is going to be big! Problems do include a bit of lag, since apps are not local on the watch for now, and a short battery life, but still a battery that will still take you through the day. However, Apple's platform seems to be significantly more powerful than Android Wear. It's more like a new device, less an extension of your phone. Smartwatches are headed towards the mainstream, and I definitely see people at my school and outside buying apple watches, just to be the first. Apple had been trademarking the name "iWatch" through dummy company for a while already, but now there is another company who want to trademark the name "iWatch". PocketNow reported, Swatch is now requesting the trademark of the name "iWatch" in certain markets where it sells its already existing iSwatch, although neither the iSwatch is a smartwatch, nor Swatch is interested in the smart-wearable market. Macrumors reported, besides IOS 8, Apple will release a new app alongside it, called "HealthBook". The new IOS 8 will be designed that the iPhone and upcoming iWatch will work closely for health tracking. No other groups are known as of yet. The watch isn't expected to be launched till sometime in 2015, but the early release of the SDK, even if limited, is expected to get more apps out by the time of launch.

Anyone here has a smart watch? Will you pay money for it? Been seeing a lot of Nike Fuelbands lately. It's so not worth it from where I'm from. haha But what do you guys think of smart watches? Will you get it if something like the iWatch is announced? Do you think it'll be as successful as when the 1st iPad was announced, giving life to the world of tablet, seeing the relativity that everyone needs it or you think it'll be an utter failure?
