After iOS 16 is no longer supporting the iPhone 6S, SE, and 7, all headphone jack iPhones are now unsupported. Let that sink in.

Since I dropped my iPhone 7 yesterday, it has been struggling. No cracks to the screen or visible exterior damage. My headphones now don't work when plugged in. The headphones still work on other devices, and the lightning port still works for charging. Siri is now also not working, doesn't detect any audio. Phone calls have no audio either, and no ringing sound when calling somebody. Briefly worked yesterday after a hard reset, but now not working again and hard reset doing nothing either. Also has now been refusing to connect me to wifi (slash through the wifi button on control panel), sometimes works after 10 mins. Thanks for any help.

So First of all this will be my first post on the LTT forums I have been along time lurker and am excited to finally post. So today around 8:30 EST apple's website www.apple.com came back from a short maintenance break. The break was speculated to be the "Surprise" launch of a new iPad and the new Red Iphone 7 and 7+. Seen Below are images of the new releases from apple. So lets start out with the new iPad, Personally I feel like the new iPad is a good in between model in the iPad line up. I feel like apple was trying to make an iPad for your average user that doesn't really care about the use of the Apple Pencil. Personally I feel like the price is one of the biggest benefits to the new iPad, with the entry 32Gb Wifi only model costing $329 USD (Roughly $436 CAD). Compared to the only other iPad with a 9.7 Inch display which is the iPad Pro costing a whopping $599 USD (Roughly $795 CAD). So now lets start with the differences in specs, Lets start with weight the new iPad weighs in at 1.03 Pounds or 469 grams compared to the iPad pro weighing in at 0.96 Pounds or 437 grams. So that means the new iPad weights in at 0.07 pounds or 59 grams more than the iPad Pro 9.7 inch which is a very subtle difference. Next lets talk about the chip which is the apple A9 chip compared to the iPad Pro 9.7 Inch Which has the newer and faster A9X Chip. The speed difference in the apple A9 chip and the last generation A8 chip is the new chip the A9 chip has a 1.6x faster CPU and has a 1.8x Faster GPU than the A8 chip. The difference in chip speed between the A9 and the A9X chip is minor, the speed difference between the two is 1.25 the speed of the A9 Chip. Which honestly if you are just browsing the web or reading a book like most normal user do. So in the end I feel like the new model is a good entry model. Now lets talk about he new iPhone 7 colors Personally I feel a new color for the iPhone is way over do. Personally I feel like the red color is way over do and since 100% of the proceeds goes to hiv/aids research honestly there is not much more to say about the new color expect that its nice to have a cheaper option to get a red painted iPhone instead of a skin from dbrand which I personally like.

I am looking to upgrade to a newer phone and i have been receiving different opinions on them, anything helps but i would like to know which to upgrade to. I DO use my phone for gaming and work so which is better for both?

Hi I have an iPhone 7 and I'm looking for an audio solution while charging. With all the fake reviews on Amazon, I can't find an option that fits with my Otterbox case, actually functions, and isn't very expensive. Selling the phone isn't an option and neither is different headphones. Thanks

Hello guys, so I have a Galaxy S8+ and I'm consider upgrading to a new phone. And these 3 phones got my attention: Redmi K20 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 9 and iPhone 7 Plus (pre-owned). I need a phone with good camera; capable of playing games like Bully, PUBG, COD Mobile and good for working too. So which one suits my needs? P/s: My budget is quite tight; around 350-400$. T4R

I know someone selling a used iPhone 7 128Gb for $200 USD, that sounds like a good deal, but I don't really know anything about the used smartphone market, should I do it?

Today I was walking home listening to music, and suddenly the music starts flickering in the left ear bud. The music stops and starts repeatedly. I unplugged my headphones and restarted the music app and then there was no sound from the left earbud at all. I tested them in another device and they still don't work so I amuse the connection is fine. Any ideas on what is wrong and how to fix it? Thanks, redbear

Hey, I tried connecting my iPhone 7 to my HP AB 516TX laptop but in the iTunes, it is not detecting my device. I can hear the sound when you connect a device to your laptop through USB port but iTunes is still not able to detect it. What can be the issue? Should I contact HP Support Number? Any suggestion or help will be highly appreciated.

Alright, so i've got my boss's iPhone 7 which was locked by her kid entering the passcode wrong too many times (hes like 3, and really smart) and now it needs to be connected to itunes so i can unlock it. The problem: She's never done any icloud or local backups, ever. From an apple support standpoint there is absolutely nothing i can do to help her. What i'm asking from you guys is to recommend me a process that i can get the data off this phone in any way possible. I've already let her know that there's pretty much nothing i can do to save the pictures etc. Would really appreciate some help with this if you guys have any ideas. Thanks!

Hello guys, I recently bought a used iPhone 7 from a friend of mine, and he's willing to let me pay the phone for 210 USD or 200 USD if I'm willing to back up all of his photos from the iPhone to his external hard drive before I can reset the phone. So for the sake of 10 dollars and thought it would be an easy job, I'm willing to do it. Unfortunately, right now I'm encountering a bit of a trouble right now. So I never have actually used an Apple device ever (This is my first time, pretty much a newbie) and my way of backing up all of my friend's photos was to plug it in to my PC. Then, I copied and pasted all of the photos from the phone into his Hard drive, but it always error and stopped in the middle of the copying (tried doing it again 3 times, same thing always happened). After a bit of trying to figure out what was causing all this, I noticed that some of the photos can't be viewed and those photos are the ones that caused the error (i'm assuming those photos are corrupted?). So I have to manually search for the "corrupted" photos and simply skips those photos. But then, I can't simply do that as my friend has a total of 3873 photos on his phone. That's way too much! So my question is : Is there any solution to this like some kind of alternatives (some kind of a backup software or something) or some sort? I've done some research and found that iTunes could back up those photos. I've tried it but the result of the backup doesn't seem to have the photos? I hope someone could help me with this. It's really frustrating to not be able to enjoy a new phone just because of some tiny problems that made it a lot harder. Thanks.

Every single one of us hate the 16 GB iPhones. 16GB simply hasn't been enough for most consumers to hold all of their apps, games, music, and photos. Warnings about low storage start popping up, and it all takes away from the iPhone user experience that Apple prides itself on. Phil Schiller has previously argued that cloud storage helps 16GB smartphones remain viable for customers. The days of 16GB iPhones are nearly over. Joanna Stern at The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Apple's next flagship iPhone — the iPhone 7 or whatever it's eventually called — will start out at 32GB of storage; there won't be any 16GB option offered. If true, the bump in storage to the entry-level model will finally address a longstanding complaint regarding Apple's iPhone family. With the iPhone 6 and 6s, Apple offered a choice between 16, 64, and 128GB. 16GB doesn't cut it, but 64GB might still be a good deal more than some people need. So with the iPhone 7, it sounds like Apple is bringing back the happy medium of 32GB. But then the question becomes what comes after that. 32GB / 64GB / 128GB seems reasonable, but with the iPad Pro now offering up to 256GB of built-in storage, it wouldn't be a surprise to see the iPhone — or perhaps just the Plus model — make that leap too. Either way, at least the 16GB iPhone has almost met its end. Yes, Apple and carriers will likely continue selling existing 16GB iPhones for a couple more years, but it's still a big (and overdue) moment. So if you watched the video you will see that the Galaxy S8 is way better at water resistant than the iPhone 7 and I was wondering if Linus could do a water damage rescue on the iPhone. Would be fun to watch.
