i am considering getting a thermaltake core v71 case due to the airflow capabilities it has. no my question is a 2 parter. 1st question. will inverting the motherboard allow for better air cooling of the GPU? 2nd question. can i move the motherboard tray in the core v71 to allow for the inverted setup? core V71 : https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133244

Temperature difference compared to right-way-up is a few degrees at most as confirmed by Hardware Canucks. My 1080Ti Founders Edition the stock cooler would quickly hit its thermal limit with and start throttling, even at stock clock speeds. My 1700X would also easily reach 80+°C even with a Corsair H80i GT all-in-one cooling loop, so I decided to spring for a cooling looped based on EKWB configurator's recommendation for a silent setup. Delivery took almost three weeks due to parts being out of stock. They were a long three weeks, during which I installed SketchUp and mocked up the entire build, reiterating until I had a sensible number of bends that looked tidy: Once all the parts arrived I discovered that my original plan to have the pump and reservior unit mounted upright to the front of the case would not work because the graphics card is too long to allow for it! My mockups went out the window and I had to resort to good old pen, paper and holding the reservior in various places while trying to decide which looked the best. Unfortunately I had to settle for blocking the view of the CPU block. Total setup took around seven hour including bending the pipes before leaving the loop to run overnight. I ordered some white 5V LED strips from Ebay and cut them to length for inside the top of the case, the underside of the GPU facing down, and the bottom of the case facing up, then soldered them to a molex connector with thin electrical wire. Combined with the white and grey motherboard, this helps the blue water dye and nickel fittings to stand out nicely! The RAM is rated for 3200MHz but Ryzen isn't quite ready for these profiles yet. Following a couple of BIOS updates I've managed to squeeze out 2667MHz with one of the motherboard's "Try It!" presets which seems to match the RAM's 3200MHz XMP timings but at the lower speed. With the pump set to minimum I'm seeing 20-30°C lower temperatures even with overclocks applied. Clocks: CPU: 3.9GHz at 1.3875V (up from 3.4GHz stock) GPU Clock: +150MHz GPU RAM: +450MHz Benchmarks: Cinebench All Cores: 1695 Geekbench 3 Single Core: 4296 Geekbench 3 All Cores: 33162 PCMARK 8 CREATIVE CONVENTIONAL 3.0 Fire Strike Extreme: 12,924 Time Spy: 9,615 To round out my setup, I attached some RGB strips to the back of my monitor which are controlled by a cheap knockoff Arduino Nano. This lets me control the colour, as well as match the colour of videos as they play: These photos were taken before my latest upgrades/watercooling which is why the PC looks different (and much bluer).

Dear all. A few days ago I left my laptop on the lock screen when I went out an some friends of mine thought it would be a good idea I there were to turn on narrator, high contrast, magnifying glass etc. When I came back I turned all the settings off. However everything is ok apart from the fact some things are still inverted in colour such as the volume control, task-manager and the search bar for my web-browser (chrome). Thanks

I have a very important question to ask about the core v21 layout. Is it possible to flip the case upside Down and place the case feet on the opposite side? And if that is possible can the motherboard tray be remounted so that it still maintains its position above the PSU? The reason for this is that the case will be on my left and I want the front IO to be facing me without having the case turned.

Hey guys I am looking for the case of my upcoming Skylake-E/Zen/1080Ti/Vega future build. Since I have not been paying close attention to the latest releases and products in the industry, so I thought this was a good time to check back in here and see what suggestions the LTT experts can come up with! What I am looking for: - 180° inverted layout (cpu socket area on the bottom, gpus towards the top, window on the left) - large window on the business side - high build quality - room for dual gpus (matx or larger) and water cooling (480x25mm total rad space min.) I am open for all crazy ideas!

Hey guys! I would like to know which are (or if there are) first person shooters for android that allow you to invert both "x" and "y" axis. I can only play with both of them inverted, and it's so frustrating to realize they don't offer this option anymore in modern games... This is the first time in my life that I own a powerful android device, (seriously, I was playing solitaire on my Moto G up to three days ago), and I was so excited to finally play all modern games out there! But all fps games I've tried so far don't have the option to invert the "x". So, if you know any fps games that allow inverted camera, please, leave a comment below ^^ For the record, I own a Galaxy S6, so, no Fortnite here. And if you've never heard of people playing with both axis inverted, yes, they exist, I'm here, and inverted controls has been the natural way for me to play since my first experience with 3D games on my PS2. I guess people's brains work differently, and I wish developers realized that.

Hello! What do you think of my almost finished inverted case? Need to replace all fans to Corsair ML, have only 2 at the moment, on the cpu cooler push/pull. And replace the red sata cables to black. What do you think? Any other change? All criticism are welcome.

So i've had this question for a long time and don't really know where to ask it so my apologies if this is not the right place. And Like the title says, is this possible ? Thanks in advance.

I recently got my be quiet! Dark Base Pro 900 and successfully inverted it, although I’m not sure what layout of fans and rad will be best. I have a total of 6 140mm Silent Wings 3 fans and an NZXT Kraken X62 280mm AIO for my CPU. I also have 3 fans built in to my Strix 1080 Ti that will blow air down (since it is inverted) on the GPU, and my PSU has a fan that blows down on it, at the bottom of course. Only one HDD bay is occupied, and I need to know what is an optimal layout. The front, top, back, bottom, and side can support fans, and you can always check the official product page to get more specs if necessary. Please give me some advice on what will work best in my layout, as there is not a lot of info on this particular setup.

I own a Asus X555LJ laptop with Windows 8.1. When I plug in the Wireless Mouse & try to use it I found out that its being flipped. (A4TECH G9-557HX) Moving mouse Left to Right makes the cursor move Up & Down. Moving Mouse Up & Down makes the cursor move Left to Right. Could not find any proper solution online. No setting were found to invert the mouse even in their driver. Laptop touch pad works just fine. Normal wired mouse also works fine. Appreciate your support. Thanks

Hi every one, I'm wondering on something for a while now. But can't find a real anwser to my questions. For a couple of years now I have a inverted case. For my new build I'm thinking of doing the same thing. Bu I want anwsers on my questions before I do that. Is it "save" to invert the motherboard. Isn't it bad that hot are form the CPU goes the wrong way? Is it better for cooling. The hottest part, GPU, will be moved to the top so hot are can escape easier without flowing into the case Do I have to change the airflow compared to the normal way of building? Hot air still goes up. I hope anyone can help me with this question. Best, Xero

So my friend is looking to building a pc as he has recently stumbled across a bit of de MONEY$ Here is the build that he is currently looking at: https://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=wish_lists&wlcId=355240&action=wish_lists He can also change the motherboard depending on which case he ends up getting He would like a inverted case in either a micro-atx or a atx case mid tower. His budget is roughly $100 AUD but it can go up to $150 MAX but some compromises might have to be made. It must have a window or easily be able to mod a window in We are currently looking at: Bitfenix Outlaw (we would need to mod a window in to, don't want to do that) http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=25_1171&products_id=25299 Silverstone PS07 (has a window and everything) Current favourite http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=25_1290_608&products_id=26490 Silverstone TJ08-E (we would either get the case from somewhere else that has a window, or get the window separately) http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=25_1290_608&products_id=17904 We might not get it from this website depends on price and shipping cost so just suggest which case and we will see which website we can get it on @spwath I know you are a massive silverstone fanboy would you care to tell us the difference between the PS0-7 and the TJ08-E

Hey guys! I just wanted to share my Side mounted desk pc build with y'all First i was planning on going ahead and building it into my desk drawer but it didn't fit :(. But yea i took off my motherboard tray off of my Cooler Master Elite 430 which couldn't fit anything I wanted and didn't have any cable management space and I inverted it and mounted it to the side of my desk. I also cut holes through the desk into the cabinet to put my PSU and HDD in there. My mom is picking my up some acrylic tomorrow for me to bend over it as a case thing. But I just wanted to show you what it looks like for now. (Don't worry about the GT 210 I'm saving for a 770) I will also be adding little grommet things to make the drill holes look better. And sorry for the shaky pics it's on my iPhone 5 :(

Hey guys, ive been looking around some sites but i still havnt found any 'cool' inverted mother boards cases, the point is, i want to have my pc on the left of my table, with a window, so it would mean that the mother board would need to be inverted, does anyone klnow of any cool looking cases like that? thanks

I am an inverted guy, I used to play Flight Simulator 98 on the PC at school (that's all there was before you call me a bore) and that started a trend that I've not quit on with 1 exception and that's first person mode in MGS games, it feels better on regular, I can't explain why. In all games, be it mouse or controller I invert the Y axis because that's what feels natural to me, pull down to look up as you would in an aircraft, I'm posting this to find out who does and who doesn't, and for what reasons! If I try to play a shooter on regular I will keep dipping up and down looking at the floor and sky like a cretin. I've also put in an option for people who invert their X axis, although I don't know anyone who does that. I know there was a topic on this a few months ago, but it wasn't a poll when it really should have been, and it was only in the PC Gaming section, this is something that affects all gaming so I've put it here, vote away!

I was thinking about graphics cards and reverse mobo trays and i was wondering why no company has made a 'reverse' graphics card? So the cooler would be facing upwards in a standard case. You would then be able to see that sweet cooler and in reverse mobos the cooler would be down. I don't think they should all be this way but I do think that a company should make one.
