So I'm looking for good budged wireless gaming headset, currently have steelseries artic 1 wired for almost 3 years, my headband rest is starting to disintegrate and I'm kind sick of that wire. Are there any good options to buy for around 100 euros? Kinda like the sound stage of my artic 1(wireless version in my region(Latvia) is over 100 euros ). Have no Amazon Don't mind the color. Don't care about mic quality. (have blue yeti for that ) Tnx for help

So i've got this motherboard: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/Z170A-GAMING-M3.html and a hyper X Cloud II USB. I feel like a great on board sound source is being wasted....Should i sell the cloud 2 and get a studio headset for 110-130$? (I can buy a seperate mic). If yes, what should i get? tia.

Hey all, So after nearly 2 years of use, my Hyper X Cloud II's decided to retire. I'm currently in the RMA process and I have 2 weeks to decided what I want for my next headphones. Firstly some general info: Like most people here asking for advice, my main use will be gaming and music. I'm no audiophile, but I do appreciate good quality sound. My main source for music is Spotify, streaming at 320kbs. I live with people who do not necessarily appreciate my music taste (Playing: Toto - Africa and Snake Eater on loop is apparently bad ) and my desktop is not so faraway from my head so during gaming it can get bit loud. As you might have guessed already, open headphones are no go. When I originally chose these headphones, what made me buy them was the very good sound quality for "gaming grade headphones" and the attached microphone. I don't require attached microphone anymore, I can grab some ModMic or BoomPro to take care of that part. What i'm looking for here is good sound quality for music and gaming, and comfort, for a budget of an around 200€ max. While i'm perfectly happy with the sound quality of Hyper X Cloud II, I have always wanted to take the jump to the entry level audiophile gear. So what are the headphones I have looked at so far: Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 32 Ohm or 80 Ohm (Still in the process of figuring out whats the difference): There will be no doubts about the comfort of these headphones, being the same style as the Hyper X II. However I heard that these are not so great for gaming? Beyerdynamic DT 990: I said that open headphones were no go, but I have heard these being described as "Semi open" . However, I'm worried about possibility of audio leak to the microphone. Also, they are on the more expensive side considering. Sound would be amazing however. Audio-Technica ATH-M50x: Its really hard to figure out these ones. I have heard that they are very good entry level audiophile headphones, but I have also heard that they are overpriced garbage meant to trap people like me who are considering jump from gaming level, to entry level audiophile. Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro Plus: These are very interesting. I heard that they are on par with the ATH-M50x on sound quality, they have that fun bass switch which I think I might need in my life. Comfy factor is also guaranteed by being Beyerdynamics. However, seems like these are quite under the radar headphones? There isn't much talk about these. I wonder whats the reason for that? Hyper X Cloud II or Hyper X Cloud Revolver: What can I say, I know it will work for me 100%. It would be very boring choice, but wouldn't be the wrong one. Some last words: Amps. I don't have one, but in the future, I might consider getting one if the headphones I end up getting will benefit from them. Feel free to suggest me headphones, share thoughts and ideas about the ones I have listed, anything really. Thanks all, I hugely appreciate the help I have gotten from the LTT forums in the past

Hi, As the title says I have a hyperx cloud and it is one side of the earbud its not working. I thought that could be a loose wire and I opened the headset to cut the cable and wed back to the board. But I kind screwed it up the cables and I am not sure where each cable should go. So can anyone help on this? If anyone have a picture of the cables in the eabud and could send me would be great. PS: In case I need to change the whole cable, can you guys recommend me some? PS²: It was in the warranty time, but I bought when I was in US, now I am in Brazil...

Hi, I'm wondering which should I buy (considering that they have similar prices where I'm from), mostly for gaming & music, Im currently using a Corsair h2100 wireless headset, and its soon to be retired. Dont care about the mic, I only want an opinion on sound quality, thanks!

I built a really budget build and the ram i used is barebones Kingston ram, I was thinking of getting a 3rd party hyper x ram heatsinks, will it affect my performace as a friend told me they come without heatsinks because they are too warm to have them, sounds like a load of lies. Thanks

So i bought a 2x sticks of RAM kit 8gb DDR4 3200Mhz from Hyper X Fury Black, but now i relalize im going to need more since i will be doing heavy work on Photoshop and multitasking with 46 mp images on my new build, will it work if i add 2 extra sticks with the same voltage, same speed and model number? i bought my sticks about a month and a half ago and those seems to be the same although i dont know. Images below show the same model reference for both kits, the one i bought and the one i'm willing to buy on Amazon. Will it be performance loss or very little benefit from adding ram this way?

Hello guys and gals. I'm super courious about the new-ish HyperX Fury RGB modules and intend on getting some for a visual upgrade to accompany a hardware upgrade. My question is then. Is it possible to overclock/run at 3600Mhz? the tech specs on kingstons sites list them up tp 3400. does anyone have experience with overclocking these modules? Is it possible to overclock past stated specs and if yes, is it super wonky or really simple to do? Kingston HyperX Predator will go to 3600, but i don't like their asthetic. any answers or pointers to info on this will be appreciated. thanks in advance.

Hello, yesterday my Hyper X Clound II developed a hummin/Buzzing noise, when the Microphone is plugged in and unmuted. However it disappears, when I ground myself either on my case or my radiator. Does anyone know, what i could do about that. The Hum/Buzz is not present, when I do use the 3,5mm jack without the USB-Sound Card. When I use the Soundcard with my Laptop the Hum/Buzz is present, when I am near a Lamp or electrical Wiring. Does anyone know, what I could do about it? Thanks in advance

Hey does anyone know how to run a headset through and amp and still be able to use the mic? I just got a Behringer HA400 Ultra-Compact 4-Channel Stereo Headphone Amplifier and wanted to use both my hyper X's and my studio headphones on one input so I don't need to constantly swap cords.Does anyone know how to make it so I can both hear audio (through the amp) and use the mic mic (through the pc) at the same time? Links to both items: https://www.amazon.ca/Behringer-HA400-Ultra-Compact-4-Channel-Headphone/dp/B000KIPT30 https://www.amazon.com/HyperX-Stinger-Nintendo-HX-HSCS-BK-NA/dp/B01L2ZRYVE Thanks

Hello Guys, I bought a Hyper X Cloud Alpha & tested it first with my Onboard Soundcard and afterwards with my Creative Soundblaster Z. The Soundquality is fine, but the Mic sounds shit with both. I had the same problem with my ModMic, but I was able to fix it with buying an USB Soundcard/Audio Splitter. But for some reason the USB Soundcard won't work with my Hyper X Cloud Alpha Mic. I bought 2 different USB Soundcards, and both work with the ModMic and all Headphones. But for some reason they don't work with the Cloud Alpha Mic. In my device manager its shown as something plugged into the USB Soundcard, but If I speak into it I can't get any sound out of it. Not sure what the problem is. I tested out a lot, but really can't find any solutions. https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B076GT6XJ9/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - thats the Headset https://www.amazon.de/Sabrent-Soundkarte-External-erforderlich-AU-MMSA/dp/B00IRVQ0F8/ref=pd_sim_147_19?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=MPVCBFJDEWY49EDF7KR1 - this is the USB Soundcard. English isn't my mother tongue, so If u can't understand something that I wrote, just ask me! Thank your for your help in advance!!!

So, this issue is a very strange one. Setup as it relates to this issue: USB HyperX Cloud II Headset MSI 990FXA Gaming Motherboard EVGA SuperNova 1000 G2 80+ Gold Corsair K70 Gaming Keyboard Issue Symptoms: My mic on the HyperX Cloud II picks up really weird interference such as static when plugged via USB directly to my PC, i.e. the Front I/O Panel or directly on the Motherboard's Rear I/O Panel. It may also stop functioning sometimes or suddenly pick up extremely loud feedback and get super loud, almost deafening. Sometimes it works fine for a little while. If I play with the chord for the headset and move it around the place, it may cause the issue to stop or start. For example, last night at one point if I positioned the USB dongle on the table, it would stop. If I picked it up and held it vertically, it would start having the issue. This doesn't always work though. There's no logic behind it other than it only happens when connected directly to one of the PC's USB ports. Works perfectly fine when connected through my keyboard's USB pass-through. Works perfectly fine on other computers. Headset speakers work absolutely fine whether they're connected directly to the PC or via the keyboard's pass-through. Only my mic is affected. Mic doesn't pick up static or break up when connected via the mic-in port on the motherboard. But, it still has issues because then it gets really muffled and sounds flat. All other USB devices work fine. Possible Related Issue: My Power Supply has some small coil whine. It's audible at idle, under load and anything in-between. It never gets any better or worst. The coil whine remains constant. It's not that bad either unless you open up the case and listen to the inside. It's noticeable but not annoying when closed. Is it possible that my PSU's coil whine is affecting my headset's mic when connected directly to the PC? What else do you guys think could be causing this?

Title says it all. I'm after a gaming headset, these are the two that are jumping out at me. I've heard good reviews on both though the Steelseries are about £10 more expensive (on the site I'm looking at at least). Please chip in with suggestions, doesn't necessarily have to even be one of these two but somewhere around the £60 range. Thanks guys. P.S. I have a PS4 as well as my PC so compatibility with both would be ideal.

Hello everyone, I can't decide between two headsets. They are the Hyper X cloud 1 / 2 and the Plantronics RIG 500E. My question to you is, Have you owned or used either headset ? Which one do you recommend.

Sup LTT community, my current ram setup is a hyperx fury 4gb @1886mhz, and a cheap generic 4gb @1333mhz one that I got when I first bought my system, while that in itself is sub-optimal at best, It's works and it's all I got at the time. Then the cheapo one started to cause Blue screens and a weird problem where I can't install most games and programs unless I've remove it... So screw that time for an upgrade! Now rather than just buy another 4gb one I'm thinking of buying a 8gb one of the same brand and speed as the first one (which fun fact is literary at the same price of the 4gb one when I bought it, I became salty af.) so assuming that the timings and other technical stuff are pretty similar if those are a factor, what are the downsides of mixing different capacities of ram?

I'm looking about upgrading my system. I'm not gonna post the old one here, because it's irreverent, but i will say I am going to keep my white fractal design case, PUS, peripherals, and storage drives. I'm ripping out the rest and filling it with these new parts! My goal is to basically build a rig that uses some of the newest parts available that is 'future proof' and will work well with any work load i through at it. I am a nightly gamer, running all the new AAA titles such as BF4, R6 Siege, and the Division. I want a rig that can handle these games, as well as coding, experimental programming, visual graphic design, and anything else I might try out because of a college class. Below are the list of parts I will buy, minus the GPU because I plan on purchasing a GPU sporting NVidia's Pascal when it comes out (if it comes out lol.) this will hopefully keep the parts to buy price under my budget of USD$1,500.00 I'm putting this out here to see what you all think of the build and dat white color scheme and how the parts will run together. I think everything is compatible and will run well with room for overclocking (when I figure out how to do that.) What are your thoughts? are all the parts compatible? is there a better option out there for a better price? 1 ASUS Z170-PREMIUM LGA 1151 Intel Z170 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard Model #:Z170-PREMIUM Item #:N82E16813132700 Return Policy:Standard Return Policy In Stock $389.99 $389.99 1 Intel Core i7-6700K 8M Skylake Quad-Core 4.0 GHz LGA 1151 91W BX80662I76700K Desktop Processor Intel® HD Graphics 530 Model #:BX80662I76700K Item #:N82E16819117559 Return Policy:Replacement Only Return Policy In Stock $413.99 $413.99 1 HyperX Predator M.2 2280 240GB PCI-Express 2.0 x4 Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SHPM2280P2/240G Model #:SHPM2280P2/240G Item #:N82E16820104542 Return Policy:Standard Return Policy In Stock $194.99 $194.99 1 HyperX Savage 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2666 (PC4 21300) Desktop Memory Model HX426C13SBK2/16 Model #:HX426C13SBK2/16 Item #:N82E16820104612 Return Policy:Standard Return Policy In Stock $144.99 $144.99 1 NZXT Kraken X61 RL-KRX61-01 280mm All-In-One Water / Liquid CPU Cooling Solution Model #:RL-KRX61-01 Item #:N82E16835146042 Return Policy:Standard Return Policy In Stock Mail in Rebate Card $139.99 $139.99 4 Fractal Design Silent Series R2 FD-FAN-SSR2-140 140mm 140mm Fan Model #:FD-FAN-SSR2-140 Item #:N82E16835352007 Return Policy:Standard Return Policy In Stock $19.99 -$5.20Save $59.16 Subtotal: $1,343.11

Hi guys Just recently i noticed that my pc was running a little slower, and not digging to deep i found that task manager was saying that i was using 6.3gb of my 16gb of ram. I removed the ram and put it back in and rebooted which did not help the problem but made it worse. It is now showing that i am using 2gb of 3.5gb of ram. The ram i am using is 2 x 8gb hyper x savage. Any help is much appreciated. thanks everyone

Hello, a friend of mine is going to upgrade his ram and he told me he ll be giving me his beast dimms 2x4 gb @1600 hz I am currently running a dual channel 2x4 gb beasts @ 2400 hz. If i use my beast dimms @2400 hz in one channel and my friends beast @1600 hz in the other channel will i have a problem. I mean i am thinking of lowering my dimms @ 1600 hz so they match with the other dimms. Is that possible or will i have stability problems, or even will it not work at all. Thanks for reading my newbie post!

Hello guys. I moved on from using HDD to SSD (Kingston Hyper x Savage 480Gb) and since that (for a month now) my pc freezes randomly and i have to do the force shut down. I have googled for many SSD related guides and i have changed settings from power saving options to indexing options and i have checked BIOS that AHCI is selected instead of IDE and still randomly freezes during a game or music or video... I went down to the local hardware store and asked about this and they asked me the same questions about indexing, power saving options, BIOS and if i cloned the disks or performed clean install instead (I did clean install because i have read that the ways of storing the data on HDD and SSD are different and this is also why SSD should be taken out from the automatic defrag schedule). Anyways, after listing my pc components and changes i have made they said it should work and that they can replace my SSD with new one. I got the new SSD yesterday, performed clean install of Win 10 64 bit, updated all the drivers and whatever updates windows needed and couple hours later my pc froze again. I guess a broken SSD is not the case here so i've been looking for firmware update for the SSD but couldn't find any for this one as the ones i found were for other Kingston ssd's and there was a text saying it wont work with any other ssd. I'm pretty confident that this issue is with the ssd because it is the only thing that have been changed and after that the freezing issue started. Overheating shouldn't be an issue here, i have checked the temperatures and under load CPU is around 50C, GPU at everything on ultra + max AA goes up to 70-75C on Fallout 4 and the overall temp inside the case goes to 37-42C depending of the game. I got the GPU like 2 months before the SSD so i am confident to say that this gpu in this old pc is not the problem (hopefully) My components: Intel i7 3770K overclocked to 3.9ghz from 3.5 (got it early 2014 along with MoBo and PSU) Kingston Hyper x fury 16gb kit (2x8gb) ddr3 1600mhz (got these last september) Kingston Hyper x Savage 480Gb (got it mid january and got it replaced 12.2.2016) Asus Xonar DG sound card (got this one a year ago) Asus PCE-AC56 wifi card (got this for a year as well) Asus p8z77-v lx intel z77 lga1155 Asus Strix GTX980ti (Got it early november) Corsair CX 750watt Hopefully i didn't forget anything but if i did, just ask Thanks already
