So I have a GTX 780 with the acx cooler on it and I want a blower style cooler for my small case (evga hadron air) but it's difficult to buy just the reference coolers without buying a new whole card. I found a Titan X cooler on eBay but I don't know if all the thermal pads and heatsink would line up. Does anyone know? I checked around the internet and haven't found anything. Alternative does anyone know where I could get a blower style heat sink for my GTX 780?

Basically I have this: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/466884-build-log-project-white-stuff-hadron/ I'm at the point where I will be painting some more parts, but I also need to either A. wait until Black Friday/Cyber Monday for Skylake parts (at least a mobo may go on sale) B. buy used. C. Go Pentium Anniversary edition A. "future proof" with ddr4, even if ddr4 and ddr3 doesn't really make a difference on this type of machine/workload. B. Buy used- looking at Ivy Bridge i5s and i7s doesn't necessary need to be unlocked since I won't be overclocking due to the terrible airflow in this case. Maybe even Sandy Bridge if it's an 2600k or 2600 C. Go Pentium because $ (close microcenter) and to get this up and running since it's gathering dust. For B and C I have a stick of 8gb ddr3 I can pull from my current system (24 gigs, accidentally bought a 2nd stick of ram). If I go the Pentium route, I probably will upgrade relatively soon... potentially AMD if Zen impresses.. and to support AMD I won't need the extra PCI bandwidth Skylake brings since it's ITX. If the mobo is a _97 at most I will simply use the GPU and an m.2. Use case is light gaming and video editing for start-ups I am involved with. (so Pentium may not be the best route) I just want to hear other people's thoughts on this as heat is also an issue in this case. As of now the place holder GPU for at least a year is a GTX 750ti until next gen GPUs come out, then it will have a 960.

i have an evga hadron air and as we all know its making stupid amounts of noise (especially when gaming). ive tried almost everything there is to it to make it a little silent. ive added some extra rubber feets, lubricated the fans bearings and nothing happened. so i was wondering, since im using an r9 280x on a 500w psu, is it the power draw thats making the psu struggle and make that noise? should i get a more power efficient card? thanks in advance!

So I'm in the market for a new build. I decided to go with the GIGABYTE GA-Z97N-Gaming 5 LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard and a Intel Core i7-4790K Haswell Quad-Core 4.0GHz LGA 1150 Desktop Processor BX80646I74790K. I clearly am going for a SFF mITX build as I'm going to be traveling a bit. MY question simply is will the Corsair h100i that I currently have work in this case with/without modding. I planed on putting the fans on the inside where they normally are put, and then put the radiator on the top part. I feel like it's possible, just wanted to know if anyone has done or could look into this. If you don't have a clue, please don't flame. Worst case scenario I'll either just get the Corsair 250D or just get the hadron and figure it out here.

Hi all mighty LTT forum gods, im thinking of possibly making a small form factor (ITX) water cooling system for just a "why not?" sort of thing and was looking at the EVGA hadron hydro case and its water cooling kit plus the slim optical drive for it, was wondering how noob friendly is it since ive never actually done water cooling before and is it possible to get it shipped from NCIX to Australia? would get it in Australia but can only get the case since the PC website i use's supplier doesnt have it as ive already asked, and any other tips and tricks yous could give me in the case would be awesome, thanks for reading.

Does anyone on the forum have a hadron air build? If so, what are the benefits for you for having that case and what the main issues you face with having it? Thanks, Blueprint

Is 500w enough power for: - i7 4770 (not overclocked) - GTX 770 Twin Frozr - 1 x 240gb Corsair Force SSD - 1 x 2tb Seagate Barracuda Hard Drive - EVGA Z87 Stinger ITX Motherboard - 2 devices drawing power from the USB ports. - 2 LED lighting strips. Thanks, Blueprint

Would the hadron air be a good case to take on the train or plane for example? Would the components be easily damaged? Looking at one of NCIX's video with linus -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZhg4yi7XKo it looks like it was quite compact and secure. Thanks, Blueprint

Which combination should I go for, for an ITX build? I will be doing a lot of editing in Premiere Pro and After Effects with BF4 footage (which I will record myself in game). The build will have a 500W PSU and I will NOT be overclocking. Thanks, Blueprint

So, I am going to be downsizing and upgrading in a while, and I am trying to sort out a final parts list. Here is what I have settled on: Intel Core i7 4770K/Intel Core i7 4790K ASUS Maximus VI Impact/ASUS Z97I-Plus 8GB Crucial Ballistix Sport (already own) Corsair H100i (already own) Gigabyte NVIDIA GTX 770 2GB (already own) Cooler Master Silent Pro M 700W (already own) 120GB SanDisk Extreme + 1TB Seagate Barracuda (already own) and I want to know which case is fundamentally better for this setup. I personally prefer the 250D, but I want to know your thoughts.

So basically I already have parts I'm moving from my huge ass desktop. I have 8GB of ram, an EVGA GTX 760, a 1TB HDD, and a 120GB SSD. Here are the parts I'm looking at buying: Case/PSU: EVGA Hadron Air http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00F1CLGVO/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER CPU: Core i5 4570 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CO8TA4I/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER Mobo: Gigabyte B85 ITX board http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HY85AYC/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER Any recommendations for a gamer? I think its a good build. I could save a lot of money and go with the i3 but the i5 has those extra cores for games like bf4.

Pros and cons of both. I'm looking to be able to travel with both. I can't really decide. I love the form factor of the rvz01 but the beauty of the Hadron!

I know it states on their website that it wouldnt fit any AIO coolers. But i was just wondering, if i remove the hdd cage and used low profile static pressure fans (ultra sleek vortex?) would i be able to do a push or a pull inside this evga hadron air case? thanks for any help!

And it is available to order @ NCIX For $189.99 CAD including a 500W 80Plus Gold rated PSU. As this is the 'Air' version I suspect there will also come a modified (an probably bigger) version with water cooling compatibility. Go buy it! More SFF system builds!!!

Along with the announcement of the EVGA Hadron mini itx case, EVGA has also showed the Hydro version which is said to support water cooling via an extended top portion where presumably a 240mm rad can be housed. the picture shows extensive aftermarket watercooling components linked to the top portion of the case via external loops through holes in the back no release date on the website as of yet Source: http://www.evga.com/articles/00777/#Hydro

Whats the best setup for this case? It comes with 2 fans blowing air out of the case. This seems good for dust resistance but bad for temps. I also ordered a coolermaster hyper tx3. Will the fan on that cooler affect any of the air flow. With it being such a small case I'm not quite sure what the best setup is. I'd appreciate any and all opinions. Thanks for the tolerance to my lack of knowledge!

NCIX: http://bit.ly/1iNl4Wt Amazon: http://geni.us/mYfV The Hadron Air from EVGA is their first case, and it's actually a VERY solid first attempt. It's extremely compact, but with its integrated 500W 80+ Gold power supply it can still handle a very solid gaming rig!

Hi all! This is my first post ever to any forum and I'm kinda excited :3 Just wanted to ask for people's opinions - would the 500W Gold rated PSU included in the EVGA Hadron Air or Hydro be enough to power my system? It includes a 4670K overclocked to 4.4Ghz as well as (once I get it) a GTX 780, which I intend to overclock a little bit. I have and SSD and one mechanical drive. Personally I would feel more comfortable with a 600W-650W power supply, if not for headroom then for keeping the PSU quieter under full load. Most of my Googling and common sense points toward it not being enough, but EVGA pictures its case with a 780/Titan, and Logan from TekSyndicate has stated he firmly believes it would be enough. Thoughts? Thanks all.

Hi there, I've recently built a mini-itx with the Hadron Air, and i wanted some help with the case airflow. The stock fans (2x 120mm) come set to exhaust, and I have some money to get the remaining parts: -Noctua NH-U9B SE2 (I'm running the coolerbox from intel) -Reference EVGA GeForce GTX 780 What fans do i purchase and how do i set it? Thanks in advance

I have been planning to do a Hadron Air build for a while now and have decided to implement these parts: i5 4670k MSI Twin Froz GTX 770 8 GB Patriot Ram ASUS Z97i-PLUS Samsung 840 EVO 128 gb SSD Hadron Air I need help deciding between these two options and please choose not solely based on performance(obviously Noctua has better cooling) but also if the sacrifice of aesthetics is worth the performance. For example, I would only choose the Noctua option over the others if it allows for a significant temperature reduction and noticeable difference in noise (one of the things I hated most about my last build was the noise). Noctua NH-U9B SE2 w/ stock Hadron Air exhaust fans replaced with Noctua NF-S12B (Example build:http://pcpartpicker.com/b/qWNG3C) - If I end up going with Noctua, what lighting (RGB led strip, cold cathodes, etc.) should I use to make the build more bearable/pleasing-to-the-eyes and should I flip the Noctua NF-S12B's to be intake fans for positive pressure within the case to minimize dust? Cooler Master Gemin II S524 w/ Corsair AF/SP 120 Fans - *Although not the best cooler, the large design of the heatsink fan covers up much of the space of the motherboard and hides many cables as shown here:http://pcpartpicker.com/b/qVMp99 (My preferred pick for aesthetics) EVGA mITX Cooler (nearly the same price as Noctua NH-U9B SE2) w/ Red LED Corsair AF 120 Fans - *As can be seen here: https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-awQalCSz4D0/U48M6oWzFdI/AAAAAAAAO08/xd_iD6ndTP8/w1364-h910-no/2.png, this build would look stunning but at nearly the same price as the Noctua set, I am concerned that I may be giving up on a lot of performance (am I?) Notes: I've been having a lot of trouble deciding between these sets, so I would like to learn from you guys's suggestions and experiences. If you want to suggest a certain cooler, fans, or lighting configuration then I would love to hear it! P.S. I'm not saying that the EVGA mITX Cooler is poor in performance as it is used in many Hadron Air builds, but I am interested in knowing if I would be able to benefit noticeably by choosing the less-pretty-in-looks Noctua

I want to vinyl wrap my pc but it has a number of ventilation holes. I was wondering wether it could be done, wrapping over these holes.

So Lego Is thinking of making a lego version of a piece of the hadron collider. They made a petition that if they got so many people to sign they would make it and (From what i was told) They got that many, within an hour or two. I would link the petition but it think its gone now. This thing is so cool, i want to build one so bad. If this was already posted take it down but i searched multiple times and nothing came up. It's a very plain design, seems to want to be half living room case, half LAN gaming case. I'd have to admit, my mother would probably be more OK with this case next to the TV than the BitFenix Prodigy. However, I'm fairly sure that if I moved my ITX system out of my Prodigy and into this and then took it to a LAN, people I regularly see at such events would ask me what the F I was doing. With this case having a vertical motherboard arrangement, it should be about 30% smaller than the BitFenix Prodigy. What that will mean in terms of sacrifices, we don't know yet. The box has a built in PSU that EVGA claims is enough for a GTX 780 and otherwise normal gaming configurations, and then some. Exact PSU wattage is not known. There appears to be room for a 240 rad in the top. http://www.overclock.net/t/1397411/tweaktown-evga-debuts-new-itx-box-at-computex-taipei-2013 Further details added by @davidvu396 :
